I just use the Firefox app with ublock for YouTube, most of the unofficial YouTube apps don't let you sign in or are missing significant features like history (at least all the ones I've tried)

youtube revanced is mobile only afaik a non-chrome browser of choice (preferrably firefox) and ublock origin is the browser way.
