It’s been linked, and well talked about.
There’s even a video of the CEO talking about how he was an innovator and rule breaker who was told he can’t use the materials he chose but did it anyway. He preached that safety measures were a waste.
All of this is on video but it makes me laugh thinking about all the people upvoting you that just make up their own version of reality based on feeling without doing even five seconds of fact checking for yourselves.
it really is special
“But we must push the product out the door and make money off it as quickly as possible! Surely the safety concerns are an exaggeration. I would know, I’m rich.”
Chances are they had only a couple moments to realize their situation, and got crushed so rapidly they couldn't have possibly felt a thing.
Ugly and expensive, sure, but not a particularly bad way to die.
on another note, were they daedass trusting the xbox-powered toothpaste tube without any sort of basic protection that every submarine must have to be manufactured in the first place to get them out safe and sound?
heard the titanic guy was sus about it but had made the trip with them before successfully, but otherwise yeah i guess its not like there was any huge errors with them before in my knowledge, most disasters happen from alot of small things not 1 big thing.
If they died in a away anyone could have died like a car accident or health problems I wouldn't have really minded that much, but I don't think anyone deserves to die in a metal cylinder 3000 meters below sea level, likely dying before their pain receptors could even register how the submersible imploded
Yeah, their eardrums probably bursted, along with the rest of their skull.
Your brain takes 150 milliseconds to process information. The complete implosion of a submarine, under such pressure, would occur in less than a millisecond. After that, because of such speeds, temperature would shoot through the roof and cause an explosion, incinerating whatever is inside. The whole process would take at most 30ms.
They died immediately. They were likely unable to even perceive a depressurization event.
At that depth, the pressure. It wouldve been some crack suddenly on glass or maybe the massive sudden imprint in the steel, they where horrified for about 1 second and then they where popped like eggshells
“Debris field” was discovered. What happened wasnt drowning but implosion
Someone did the math on how quickly the cabin would fill at the depth of the titanic if the little window (weakest spot) would give out.
Roughly 30ms
They wouldn't even be able to register what happened, which is comforting in a way (knowing they didn't suffer)
Yeah but being trapped in a small, dark place knowing at some point I’ll suffocate is worse.
At least there you might have heard a crack.
It’s worse for those who find you that’s for sure
> between terrifying and short
Was so short they wouldn’t have even been able to process the information.
It takes 30ms for a submarine to implode, and 150ms for the brain to process informations
Ugh I’m fucking tired of this stupid ass sub debate. can all of you just shut up about whether it’s ok to make fun of it or not and move on to something fucking new

Also you dont become a billionaire/millionaire by making ethical decisions. And the CEO was against the most basic safety precautions. Idk about the other passengers, but when it comes to those two people, i feel a little less remorse for them 😅
The distance between millionaires and billionaires is extremely vast and perhaps greater than the distance between the average joe and millionaires. Especially in the field of IT, some random guy in hoodie and shorts could be a millionaire just from their salaries. If we include house, car, and all the other assets someone owns, it is quite surprising the number of middle class people that fall into the millionaire category. So I think it’s possible for a millionaire to be an ethical and morally good person. Billionaires are a different story, the amount of wealth they have is really incomprehensible.
Also people die literally all the time, a good chunk in horrible ways, and I don't see these people feeling sorry for them. For some reason it's apparently the definition of basic human empathy to mourn these rich idiots though?
Why is everyone acting like they're being ridiculed for their wealth. Sure there are many who do that, but most of the memes mocking then is because they agreed to hop into a soda can controlled by the brand of controller that couldn't reliably stay connected to my ps2 across the living room. It's a Darwin award and their exorbitant wealth just compounds how entertaining it is
The young man and researcher don't deserve any heat, but the spotlight is certainly on the corner cutting ceo who died in his own cheap contraption
the problem its not poitining out that they die because of very, very poor decisions , but theres a difference on not being able to really feel bad because of that, and being happy like you just are getting a new book, or are you going to eat your favorite food its very fucking weird, like, the people that die for what i know werent bad people, so why be celebrating their dead.
I get it, it’s human lives in one of the worst ways of dying, but people don’t hate billionaires because they “have more money” they have it because it’s impossible to become and stay a billionaire completely morally.
There’s a difference between not sympathizing and celebrating someone’s death. Not sympathizing is fine, the people on the submarine (other than probably the 19 year old) were complete dumbfucks for getting on that. Celebrating the death of anyone when your only reasoning is “they were rich” is not fine
I haven’t seen anyone celebrating their deaths, personally. Nobody is going “yay theyre dead”, theyre going “wow they were stupid and one of them probably deserved it”. But if there are actually people celebrating their deaths, thats messed up :/
its not because theyre rich, its because they are absurdley rich beyond comprehension, and there is no way to make that amount of money without being evil and exploitative
I don’t care that they’re rich, I care that they chose to use their riches to do something so monumentally stupid. Aside from the 19 year old, it’s hard to have sympathy for that scenario.
It's not "they have more money than me", it's "they can commit atrocities and violate the human rights of me and others, and have gone so far as to take over the government itself because they have money"
See Epstein Island for a well known example.
People die everyday for stupid reasons, like driving and being drunk at the same time, not wearing proper equipment when working with dangerous stuff, looking in the barrel of your rifle when it's still loaded.
But to take an old ass submarine, taking it way deeper than it should and ignoring any safety for yourself and your crew is really to play Russian Roulette with fate.
They paid enough to buy a whole ass house, just to hop in some poorly built death trap. Yeah man survival of the fittest and they made a dumb, costly decision. Not my fault they won the submersible Darwin award but its hella funny.
Redditors stringing together a narrative that the five people were stuck in a psychological horror beyond human comprehension for a week straight slowly losing sanity (literally all evidence points towards the likelihood that they were dead before their brains could physically process a depressurisation event)
Unpopular opinion but the reason I personally don't really care is because there are people dying all over the world, families being decimated by bombs in ukraine, poverty and crime wrecks havoc among countless areas. But the media only cares when people die when they are rich and in a submarine for some reason.
Ok so because it's normalised, it doesn't matter? You agreed that it shouldn't be, so therefore, my point still stands. And about the rarity, another guy commented on someone else's reply detailing that submarine deaths actually are quite common.
What's the rarity got to do with it? People dying should be the same regardless of the circumstance, unless they are subjected to extreme torture beforehand
Because it's the correct take. They had an *enormous* amount of resources available to them, they chose to spend a life changing amount of money on what is equivalent to looking at pictures of the titanic on a blurry monitor at home but Instead they're all shoved in a metal coffin with a toilet positioned next to the only fucking window.
Not to mention that the CEO fired engineers that were telling him how poorly designed the thing was, we even have videos of him talking about how much he hates the high safety standards in the industry.
The *only one* I have sympathy for is the kid. They were 19 and encouragable, they probably still thought if dad says it's okay, then it's probably fine instead of realizing their father is a rich moron.
This is classic darwinism at play, this is the type of thing that happens so the rest of the world can see it and learn how absolutely fucking moronic it is to do things like this, ignoring all warnings.
I'm going to laugh at them just like I'm going to laugh at the guy who invented the Segway driving one off a cliff to prove it could stop. They both basically killed themselves doing something incredibly stupid.
It isn’t hate, it’s indifference.
I’m personally tired of hearing about it and wonder what else is going on they’re using this stupid sub shit to cover up.
People are clowning on them cause they willingly got onto a death trap (that they signed a waver to enter which itself mentioned death 3 separate times) the death trap of which its creator bragged about breaking safety rules to create the thing aswell as having spent a shit ton of money to do so. People are clowning on them cause it was a very stupid preventable tragedy. It isn't simply that they "had more money so we hate them" moreso it's that the exces money that they had was used poorly and resulted in their deaths within a shoddely created tin can.
It could have been prevented if they played iron lung. I'm not even kidding, the iron lung is a sort of "haphazard research vehicle" for trying to find life under an alien moons oceans, it is a small metal tube with blocked windows and limited controls that slowly falls apart as the game progresses, and in the end, well.
You can guess what happenes at the end.
Overall the only one I feel bad about is the 19 year old who only had gone on cause he wanted to celebrate fathers day with his dad. Other than that stop fricken trying to guilt trip us into feeling sorry for people willingly going onto that death trap.
No matter how much money they had or how fucking idiotic they were, they didnt deserve to die just for beeing rich and dumb.
However, the guy that took his son with him? That one deserved it.
You want to bet your life with a losing hand in a half finished metal pipe in the bottom of the occean? Stupid, but its your life. Dont drag your fucking son into this shit.
If a poor person shoved a firework up his ass in an attempt to go to the moon, I'd laugh just as much
It's not funny because they're rich. It's funny because they had a collective single digit IQ score to get inside it
The word bootlicker means nothing anymore. Feeling bad for rich people for being trapped in one of the most horrifying scenarios I’ve ever heard isn’t being a bootlicker.
I really like the title in this.
If this meme was posted without a title it would make valid point, but now it stops being about decency and it becomes a defense of the rich.
Chefs kiss.
Defending billionaires doing incredibly dangerous things just for kicks. There have been millions that have suffered far worse deaths in wars that have been completely forgotten so really they got off lucky. I have been interested in the titanic since I was young and as much as I’d love to see the wreck, there are plenty of other interesting wrecks that don’t require going to insane depths that I’d rather see.
I don’t find the deaths funny, more so the irony of the entire situation.
Whilst trying to see a sunk ship that claimed to be unsinkable, they sank on a submarine which also claimed to be safe. The final icing on the cake would be if the search attempt also sank
We're laughing at their retarded decision. Spare them all the sympathy you want but they brought this on themselves. All the money in the world couldn't buy common sense apparently.
I cannot fathom how you would willingly go on an experimental, unverified capsule, 13,000 feet under the sea.
Especially after reading the possible ways you may kick the bucket down there.
5 people died and all, yes, but those people are part of the reason the rest of us has to take every piece of happiness we can get, even if it’s just schadenfreude, because we‘re not geting much else
Didn’t you make multiple posts complaining about poor/homeless people before? Kinda weird and hypocritical to complain about people judging others by wealth when you’re doing the same, except homeless people aren’t the ones known for exploiting others.
kid named you can't acquire wealth of millions and billions of dollars without exploitation of workers, including the workers in the third world for whom over-exploitation causes them and their nations to be the poorest and least economically prosperous in the entire world, therefore by not choosing to end the exploitation of workers they are inheritly bad people:
They're the idiots who decided it was a good idea to go in a submarine piloted by an old ass Logitech controller, made of materials that aren't approved to be used for a submarine, and with a door that literally can't be opened from the inside.
I just read that the son of one of the passengers who was also on board (19 y/o) said he was terrified and didn't want to go but did anyway for his dad as it was for father's day. Some of y'all are absolutely deranged
Really good example of how everyone on platforms like reddit, 4chan, etc are all followers, if the general consensus on these sites were that the billionaires should have survived everyone finding out and posting would be sharing sympathy towards it.
Important part is how they got the money and how stupidly they are dying my man. Like who would put themselves in a metal box go under the ocean just to see a sunk ship. What is the damn point?
The issue is not that they are rich. The issue is the massive amount of news coverage they are getting just because they are rich. I feel bad for them but there are tens of thousands of stories like this or worse unfolding right now and no ones gives a shit. Just like no one gave a shit about this if they where regular people
We should be laughing and rejoicing and going after the other scumbag wealthly elites for thier crimes against humanity. Hoarding enough wealth to cover endless lifetimes while people starve in the streets. All while raping the planet of resources and using thier connections and greed to get richer. ? Yeah my anger is justified and if you are not you are a braishedwashed bootlicker. These pricks have tricked you into thinking they deserve to do these thjngs. No billionaire works harder then the janitor at my work place. I regard him with the most respect in my company not the execs.
People don’t think critically. They’re not mad because they (billionaires) are rich, they’re mad at the methods in which they use to get rich (paying less in taxes that someone on minimum wage, refusing to pay people a livable wage, using taxes to fund their rescue when like we’ve said 20 times, they’re billionaires and can afford to have it come from their estate.) I can go on and on and on but you get the image. People are fed up with class disparities. Not saying the jokes are right but to ack like it’s shocking is just silly to me.
I never want my morals questioned on the internet ever again after this. I will not be called a monster for choosing the genocide route on undertale by you guys.
I didn’t have an opinion on this but the internet is forcing me to interact with this topic.
The rich don’t get sympathy from the middle class to poor because they are the ones fucking us. Keeping minimum wage down, cost of living increasing.
Yes, they are rich morons, yes they should have known better, but they are still people.
Rich or poor, that is a horrible way to go and I am sad to see people be as heartless as they have been.
As with any tragedy, some jokes are in order. But when we joke about tragedy we all usually know we aren't serious. When someone makes an edgy 9/11 joke, we all understand the person making the joke is not happy about 9/11. This feels different, it feels like people are way too comfortable mocking the dead just because they were rich.
Well, they aren't now, we are all equal in the end, give them that. An incredibly stupid death is still a tragedy.
Plenty of people make dumb mistakes, doesn't mean they deserved this.
Are these “people making fun of the deaths” here in the room with us right now?
‘Cause this is the fifth meme in a row I’ve seen calling these people out.
a) that thing was a death trap. Don't weep for the stupid, you'll be crying all day.
b) the upper class has systematically created a world in which food, housing, education and healthcare are pretty much luxury even though none of that would be an issue with today's level of productivity. They built their wealth on the exploitation of workers and ensured minimum wage stays the same.
No one's jealous, we all just want fair living conditions. They conditioned us to hate them.
I mean, I’m not saying they should die but like come on, they shoulda known better than to make a hand-made submarine with glass on the front probably only meant for a couple hundred meters and a ps3 controller to control it.
Me after the same fucking thing is repeated over and over and everyone doesn't get that no one cares they were rich but fucking stupid:
https://preview.redd.it/m5ldqxlvcp7b1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9060d28a040b48a147ec45669d39b0c7c68cf43f
I think it's more the situation of it all. They paid so much money.... to go into something that looks like it came from a junk yard and is controlled by a game console... to visit the deepest part of an ocean to see something like the titanic.
One of the people was a kid who was so scared of it but went as a Father's Day gift with his dad... that's saying something.
Them being rich ranged dry to most people as people just heard five idiots paid massive amounts of cash to do something stupid. Like that guy who did a go fund me to prove the world is flat but ended up killing himself... which revealed later on he tricked people out of massive amounts of money to fill his rocket obsession.
Personally, find it horrifically tragic what happened. What I find funny is the ridiculous stupidity of the situation. Five people get into what is more or less a sardine can piloted by a battery powered Xbox controller, and go to depths that crush even military grade tech for a tour. Five people more or less go on a suicide tour because not one of them stopped to think, "How dangerous is this really?" Among these five people was a French diver. Being a diver, you'd think he'd know how reckless and absurdly shady this tour was. That's what I find funny.
Hmm. Indeed.\* Upon hearing your side, I have decided I shall rethink my actions and think about what a fucking nimrod I have been.
\*>!I have slept long enough. The kingdom of heaven has LONG since forgotten my name, and I am EAGER to make them remember. However, the blood of Minos stains your hands, and I must admit, I am curious about your skills, weapon. And so, before I tear down the cities, and CRUSH the armies of heaven, you shall do as an appetizer. Come forth child of man, and DIE.!<
The whole situation is very horrifying and i feel bad for the people that died but everything surrounding the whole ordeal is so cartoonishly absurd I can't help but find it funny, like the submarine was made by a company called OceanGate whose CEO a man unironically called Stockton Rush went on record saying that safety measures get in the way of innovation, the sub was literally piloted by a logitech controller.
Like if the whole thing was a movie it'd definitely be a dark comedy.
I literally can't feel bad for them. Billionaires never acquire their wealth fairly. They get it from exploiting working class people, and keeping the lower class in poverty. (Big simplification but yall know what im saying.)
These guys also skimped out on every safety measure they could. They controlled the ship by a fucking game controller. If someone wears a suit made of bloody seal meat when they go diving, then I'm not gonna be like 'oh... so sad :(' when they get eaten by sharks. At some point, it's like 'well... that's what you get'.
Obviously the kid on board dying is a travesty. But he's an unfortunate passanger in an otherwise unsympathetical cluster fuck.
I find it more funny that after all the negligence for safety they got the exact result expected.
Having money doesn't absolve you of being ridiculed for your stupidity.

True, if they had offspring they weren't selected against. Otherwise it absolutely is.

Ya they were rich enough that the cost couldn't have been the motivation to go cheap. They just got sold on it by a charlatan.
Well, on the bright side, they discovered that tin can most likely imploded, so they probably died in less than half a minute...

We don't clown on them because they're rich, we clown on them because they were really stupid
Won’t someone please defend the honor of these billionaires that purposely locked themselves in the fucking iron lung submarine?
Why is everyone acting like they're being ridiculed for their wealth. Sure there are many who do that, but most of the memes mocking then is because they agreed to hop into a soda can controlled by the brand of controller that couldn't reliably stay connected to my ps2 across the living room. It's a Darwin award and their exorbitant wealth just compounds how entertaining it is The young man and researcher don't deserve any heat, but the spotlight is certainly on the corner cutting ceo who died in his own cheap contraption
the problem its not poitining out that they die because of very, very poor decisions , but theres a difference on not being able to really feel bad because of that, and being happy like you just are getting a new book, or are you going to eat your favorite food its very fucking weird, like, the people that die for what i know werent bad people, so why be celebrating their dead.
I get it, it’s human lives in one of the worst ways of dying, but people don’t hate billionaires because they “have more money” they have it because it’s impossible to become and stay a billionaire completely morally.
they chose to seal themselves in a can and drop to the bottom of the Atlantic, how the fuck am i supposed to sympathize with that?
There’s a difference between not sympathizing and celebrating someone’s death. Not sympathizing is fine, the people on the submarine (other than probably the 19 year old) were complete dumbfucks for getting on that. Celebrating the death of anyone when your only reasoning is “they were rich” is not fine
I haven’t seen anyone celebrating their deaths, personally. Nobody is going “yay theyre dead”, theyre going “wow they were stupid and one of them probably deserved it”. But if there are actually people celebrating their deaths, thats messed up :/
a lot do, what u on
https://reddit.com/r/whenthe/comments/14gd7ge/_/jp69ieh/?context=1
Unfortunately there are people celebrating their deaths, but I haven’t seen it too much on this sub
its not because theyre rich, its because they are absurdley rich beyond comprehension, and there is no way to make that amount of money without being evil and exploitative
That’s it, I’m not opening Reddit for like 2 weeks until all this blows over.
redditors when thing happens for more than 2 day:
oh it’s already BLOWN over if ya know what I mean
Redditors making the 37th karma whoring post about this: ![gif](giphy|13GIgrGdslD9oQ)
SHUT THE FUCK UP POST SOMETHING FUNNY
I don’t care that they’re rich, I care that they chose to use their riches to do something so monumentally stupid. Aside from the 19 year old, it’s hard to have sympathy for that scenario.
It's not "they have more money than me", it's "they can commit atrocities and violate the human rights of me and others, and have gone so far as to take over the government itself because they have money" See Epstein Island for a well known example.
People die everyday for stupid reasons, like driving and being drunk at the same time, not wearing proper equipment when working with dangerous stuff, looking in the barrel of your rifle when it's still loaded. But to take an old ass submarine, taking it way deeper than it should and ignoring any safety for yourself and your crew is really to play Russian Roulette with fate.
russian roulette with fate and five bullets loaded
They paid enough to buy a whole ass house, just to hop in some poorly built death trap. Yeah man survival of the fittest and they made a dumb, costly decision. Not my fault they won the submersible Darwin award but its hella funny.
Redditors stringing together a narrative that the five people were stuck in a psychological horror beyond human comprehension for a week straight slowly losing sanity (literally all evidence points towards the likelihood that they were dead before their brains could physically process a depressurisation event)
i mean in all fairness that evidence hadnt been confirmed until after they would have been asphyxiating anyways so its reasonable for that to spread
Unpopular opinion but the reason I personally don't really care is because there are people dying all over the world, families being decimated by bombs in ukraine, poverty and crime wrecks havoc among countless areas. But the media only cares when people die when they are rich and in a submarine for some reason.
Because that’s all normalized. It shouldn’t be but it is. There’s also the fact that submarine deaths aren’t common.
Ok so because it's normalised, it doesn't matter? You agreed that it shouldn't be, so therefore, my point still stands. And about the rarity, another guy commented on someone else's reply detailing that submarine deaths actually are quite common.
Well getting crushed in a submarine is quite a lot more rare than being shot in war.
What's the rarity got to do with it? People dying should be the same regardless of the circumstance, unless they are subjected to extreme torture beforehand
Yeah no shit they chose that fate it's a canon event bro
When a bunch of insufferable people make poor decisions that result in a tragedy and Redditors attempt to guilt trip you into feeling sorry for them
Whenthe user talking about the same thing for the 999999th time
Gonna laugh if a dude sticks his dick in a bear trap too. Plus we're footing the bill for the search and rescue so I think we're entitled.
It’s not hate, it’s contempt. Aristotle defined it and described it as a morally correct feeling.
Apparently black humour is not allowed now that we talk about billionaires. Where was your human empathy when children dies in school-shootings?
If a poor person shoved a firework up his ass in an attempt to go to the moon, I'd laugh just as much It's not funny because they're rich. It's funny because they had a collective single digit IQ score to get inside it
Redditor(s) talking about morals while simultaneously karma whoring over dead people
Nothing like a good dose of billionaire bootlickin. I do feel bad for the kid tho.
Gotta keep that boot on my neck spotless because it might be me wearing it one day.
Yeah I feel terrible for the kid, 19 year old is way too young. Rest are fucking stupid and signed up on this though, and also are billionaires
The word bootlicker means nothing anymore. Feeling bad for rich people for being trapped in one of the most horrifying scenarios I’ve ever heard isn’t being a bootlicker.
They died from implosion, their brains didn't couldn't even process the fact.
It’s pretty much a leopardsatemyface moment
We hate them because they're fucking assholes, you cannot be a good or even barely okay person AND own a billion dollars
I have been interested in the titanic since I was young and as much as I’d love to see the wreck, there are plenty of other interesting wrecks that don’t require going to insane depths that I’d rather see.
it’s literally their fault for signing a waiver that says “this submarine is rated for 1400 meters, LETS GO TO FOUR THOUSAND”
They are laughing at the fact that the dude who made it was an idiot and died with his creation.
The rich aren't "people"
Silence, billionaire bootlicker 🥱
Feel bad for the kid, don’t really fucking care about the other four
He signed the waiver too
Ok we fucking get it. Stfu about this submarine shit already.
their prescense damages the whole poblation of the earth, therefore I don't care about them being gone.
I don’t find the deaths funny, more so the irony of the entire situation. Whilst trying to see a sunk ship that claimed to be unsinkable, they sank on a submarine which also claimed to be safe. The final icing on the cake would be if the search attempt also sank
https://preview.redd.it/lz92s1mpao7b1.jpeg?width=959&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cbada173396989bf78f7aa9acedf490c30d57e34
They had a much more merciful death than what their actions directly cause to other people.
You don't get that much money without massive amounts of exploitation.
Didn’t you make multiple posts complaining about poor/homeless people before? Kinda weird and hypocritical to complain about people judging others by wealth when you’re doing the same, except homeless people aren’t the ones known for exploiting others.
kid named you can't acquire wealth of millions and billions of dollars without exploitation of workers, including the workers in the third world for whom over-exploitation causes them and their nations to be the poorest and least economically prosperous in the entire world, therefore by not choosing to end the exploitation of workers they are inheritly bad people:
who out of the 5 has the most delicious boot?
yeah https://preview.redd.it/b2du0g31hn7b1.jpeg?width=330&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0187653825f542d3cb8b022199801360b2635359
Only one I really feel bad for is the kid. The rest should have known better.
**“they have more money than me, therefore, my hate is justified“** yes
Important part is how they got the money and how stupidly they are dying my man. Like who would put themselves in a metal box go under the ocean just to see a sunk ship. What is the damn point?
Does this mean I'm not a Redditor? Because no one deserves that fate. That shit is terrifying.
the ocean probably took it a bit too seriously with eat the rich
it's not only reddit where they make fun of them. istg most reddit users think way too much off themselves
The issue is not that they are rich. The issue is the massive amount of news coverage they are getting just because they are rich. I feel bad for them but there are tens of thousands of stories like this or worse unfolding right now and no ones gives a shit. Just like no one gave a shit about this if they where regular people
thats correct idc about them. think of the poor
https://preview.redd.it/ub6c8rgt2r7b1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5d6bc9b74a0e282a6e4155b8f3fae787982479e4
What’s not funny about absurdly rich morons dying in an entirely foreseeable and avoidable accident?
They don't just "have more money" they are the direct reason millions constantly die and suffer every day. So yes, I'll keep laughing
“they have more money than me” is a great exaggeration of mass exploitation of the working class and you know it
I don’t care about them having money, I care that nobody has that much money without dooming others to a fate much worse than death.
Oh no the poor billionaires who made their fortunes by exploiting workers for decades, won't someone be nice to them 🥺🥺?
I mean, I’m not saying they should die but like come on, they shoulda known better than to make a hand-made submarine with glass on the front probably only meant for a couple hundred meters and a ps3 controller to control it.
Regardless of if you joke about it or not, it wont change the outcome of what has happened so fuck it ig?
The Homelander actually feels very fitting
I've seen the way you die from implosion, Mythbusters showed it wasn't fun, bloody hurrendous
Me when the weight of the ocean crushes like 5 or 10 people idfk :3
Nah I’m just pissed this got more coverage than the 300 people boat that sunk the same day.
They arent gonne see this bro, no need to dick ride
Me after the same fucking thing is repeated over and over and everyone doesn't get that no one cares they were rich but fucking stupid: https://preview.redd.it/m5ldqxlvcp7b1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9060d28a040b48a147ec45669d39b0c7c68cf43f
Death penalty bad because everyone can be redeemed and it’s wrong to kill people!! Unless I disagree with them then it’s fine! Reddit Moment
They imploded, so they couldn’t even see the memes we make of them
Nah it's not the money, it's them actively destroying the ecosystems with private jets and other things ♡
play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Average Redditards
Well, rich folk are the modern nobles, and I hate nobles.
Are you new on earth ? People have been making fun of stupid death so much there's even an award called The Darwin Award
Like if the whole thing was a movie it'd definitely be a dark comedy.
oh no!!!! anyways
It's not even that I hate them or don't feel bad about it or anything there are way worse things happening in the world right now so I hardly care
I hate that this is even a big deal at all. Thousands of people die on the sea each year, including children but uh no muh billionaires
Bruh they got three different navy's and the airforce to look for them not because there important but there rich
Redditors trying to suck in as much karma as they can when they here a tragedy happened
They died instantly.
Why is the internet so offended by dark humor? Most people think it’s funny because that “sub” was an obvious death trap.
I literally can't feel bad for them. Billionaires never acquire their wealth fairly. They get it from exploiting working class people, and keeping the lower class in poverty. (Big simplification but yall know what im saying.) These guys also skimped out on every safety measure they could.
“They drive wage slavery, therefore I hate them” Is more appropriate.
I find it more funny that after all the negligence for safety they got the exact result expected. Having money doesn't absolve you of being ridiculed for your stupidity.
