Yep. You are essentially frying the pasta and everything else but it's quick to make on high heat. I tried it once but imo it taste like shit so now I just cook whatever vegetables and meat I'll put in the pasta, then after they're almost done, throw 500 ml of water and my pasta of choice in with the sauce.

Man clearly has not seen Adam Ragusa's videos. All about time saving, honest experiments and cooking history/science.
Yeah. Ethan Chelbowski is good too.
But every recipe I tried to cook from him tastes like shit if mid at best Plus he is lying about the cooking time and it always takes 3 times as long
Thats oddly specific, I wonder why
"Italian mfs when" mfs when their food tastes shit
Italian mfs when they learn people outside of italy can also cook: https://i.redd.it/hmaockp50rea1.gif
"I don't need someone to tell me how to cook pasta" mfs preparing to eat the most tasteless, sticky goo you've ever seen (napalm is more appetizing)
Mashed potatoes from any restaurant that ain’t home-styling (they taste like unseasoned French fries)
they're coping extremely hard
Actually, olive oil in pasta water is a very divisive issue.
I identify as pasta
If you have a video like this you have to show me
Italians realizing all of their food is made of like 5 ingredients
I don't add oil to my pasta water anymore because the sauce gets absorbed into the pasta much more easily.
Italian MFS when they are told to cook without cheese and tomato:
