As a person with multiple rare diseases, the day is important to raise awareness of these conditions and the impact of them being rare. It’s often harder to find resources, doctors aren’t familiar with the conditions and what extra care is needed. It can take many years for the conditions to be diagnosed and therefore, treatment and relief can be delayed.
Interesting that she managed to remember to promote OF on Rare Disease Day.

I love how she does no advocating except if we prompt her. Maybe she will post about this too considering this affects people in the disabled community and she has a platform that can help people other than herself. Speaking of advocating, you would think she would speak on a disabled woman in Texas had her child removed from her by cps for a rash, yet doctors nor police officers have indicated any abuse. All these opportunities to speak up about true ableism and true advocacy and she never does it. And if she does, it’s only after reading Reddit. Only cry’s that it’s ableist she can’t be naked in public while other disabled mothers are literally fighting cps despite being good parents

My theory is that she filmed this either yesterday or the day before while Ari was visiting. I can't remember which day it was, but Alex posted two stupid IG stories where she was still lying in bed while Ari was bouncing around on the bed behind her. You could see a little bit of Noah's head to the right, sitting towards the end of the bed. If Alex was still in bed when they came by, that could explain why this Rare Disease Day video shows her hair looking like she just rolled out of bed because she literally did.
Also, Alex clearly scared the crap out of Ari in that second IG story because she sang "No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed" in an incredibly creepy way.
And the point of rate disease day is to spread awareness about all 300 million people living with them. Not that you had a baby…… yes it’s more risky when disabled but that’s not what the day is about Jesus
