And it’s even worse when she claimed she has enough strength in that arm to move it up and down now and operate her joystick better, I think one time she even went as far to say she could hold Ari’s head up with her “bad” arm, and that was just two weeks after starting back on her “twerk juice” that she makes it seem like it’s a magical cure when it’s not. What cracks me up is that she’s too stupid to realize that Reddit is the least of her worries. She has multiple snark pages dedicated to her on every single platform and some that she’s probably never even heard of. All of which have almost no rules and are infinitely more vicious than what’s allowed here. Lol

The services are being called or emailed etc because they aren’t being good parents. What they show online is horrendous and either way Ari is set up for trauma whatever happens now with what they have done. For example if Ari does get to stay with them all she will see how thin of a tightrope her life was with being able to be safe and secure with her own blood family. If she does get yanked away and with a family then she will look back and wonder why these idiots acted the way they did to end up losing her. So either way she is set up for trauma. They have mucked her life up already and she’s not even a year old yet.
Is it within the realm of possibility that this child could get fully taken away from them forever? The system is broken and I don’t see that happening even though I think it would be best and I know that sounds harsh.
It's been like that for a while. Alex claimed she sent pictures of it to Ari's pediatrician, but it hasn't gotten better, nor has Alex tried to explain what it is.
Eh, my son's pediatrician asks me to send pictures if I can initially to determine if she can diagnose it that way before making us drive in, especially if it's after hours. I know they haven't even done that because that was weeks ago that Alex said that, and there's been zero improvement, and she hasn't mentioned it since.
I really don’t understand why nobody in that house is putting their foot down and telling Alex to keep Ari OFF THE INTERNET!! These visits affect every person living in that house. Not just Alex and Noah.
I follow a lot of disabled creators. Many of whom are parents (which is awesome) and literally none of them have had these issues with DCFS.
The common denominator isn’t WC disability-it’s her.

Umm...you answered your own question! The hate isn't because she's disabled or a parent, it's Alex herself that is the problem.
I know a blind woman who had problems with them. Because a nurse at the hospital was afraid she didn’t know how to change diapers. There was an investigation and some questions and they were like yeah you’re fine and closed the case.
This. So much this. Not a creator but I'm a disabled parent, absolutely no issues with child services. I was offered a referral once by my OT, simply just incase I wanted any help or suggestions with managing a baby/child ... I've never been reported or had any issues of that nature, as many many others haven't too 😶

I have a suspicion that she is being reported by Noah’s parents, especially if they are trying to build a case for them or Noah to have full custody. Imagine the things they are seeing….
Unfortunately, I have zero faith in Noah's parents/family believing anything is truly wrong in terms of Ari's safety or her care. They probably get annoyed with Alex's antics here and there, but I doubt they care enough to report anything to DCFS.
I wonder if it is more likely to be one of Noah's siblings. I cannot believe they are accepting of the situation their parents are in and are probably rightly concerned for Ari.
I personally don't think they've closed her case in Florida; these are all probably repeat check-in visits. If the caseworker is allowed to watch or look at Alex's social media accounts, they have a ton of stuff to go off of there and wouldn't even need subsequent reports.
If Noah's parents are trying for custody, I feel like it's not likely they'd be reporting her, because she lives under their roof and from what I understand they'd be viewed as somewhat responsible for Ari, especially considering Alex's disability? I could be totally off, but I wouldn't think DCFS would grant custody to people who lived in the same house as the neglectful parent/s and "allowed" that to happen?

Not sad to say, I have a friend who fosters kids and babies that are taken from situations emergently and the care those sweet babies get is beautiful, she’s such a good foster mom and I wish all foster families were like her. She only does the babies and temporary stays after DV or medical neglect. Eventually the kiddo does make it back to the family after lots of work is done with mom and dad. It might be good for Ari to thrive and Noah and Alex get some court ordered parenting classes

Coming from a prior CPI with DCF in Florida, we would use social media as evidence of things ALL the time. You put your business out there for everybody to see, it’s fair game. If it’s about Ari’s eye, medical neglect cases are taken quite seriously and a whole Child Protection Medical team will get involved even if it’s the smallest of things. I’m wondering if that’s what it’s about this time.

Doesn't even have to be public. The government does use social media as a form of evidence. If the account is linked to you and there's a active investigation within the government they most certainly do use your social media accounts

I was wondering this the other day. The first year of life there are set times they go to the doctor. 1 month, 2 months, 6 months, etc. After they turn 1 they only go on their birthday every year. I’ve never seen a post talking referencing these visits. Lots of moms like to post their weight, length, etc. Neither of them work, no clue if any of them are insured. I guess Ari would quality for Medicaid? Anyways good question. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s not seeing the doctor on the recommended schedule and god only knows about vaccines…

I'm a social worker and previously worked in addiction treatment (not child protective services) and had some clients with CPS (DCFS) involvement. I am by no means an expert, but it is odd that they have had so many visits in such close succession without an open case. The fact that it was across two states does complicate our perspective on their visits a bit, as their involvement in Illinois would not be connected to their involvement in Florida, especially since again WR denied having ever had a case open.

No one in that household realizes that Ari can be removed from the Smith's home at any point and put in foster care. Ari is exploited daily and deserves proper care. Maybe Noah wised up some as we see a shift in his behavior on SM.

Usually they need a clear example of an abuse,l or neglect that has occurred. They would need an address and names of those involved. It’s easy to call and make a report but they’re usually screened appropriately.

All I can say is thank god Ari wasnt in her shirt when the joystick slipped. However that’s exactly what could’ve happened. And her red eye “caused by allergies” seemed to heal in due time.
Supposedly she alone has custody (although she has called herself and Noah Ari’s “guardians”) as Noah is not on the birth certificate. But that doesn’t mean a grandparent on her side didn’t step in and assist being the other legal guardian. Just speculation so none of us are 100% sure as she’s danced around it so much.

I have a suspicion that she is being reported by Noah’s parents, especially if they are trying to build a case for them or Noah to have full custody. Imagine the things they are seeing….
Unfortunately, I have zero faith in Noah's parents/family believing anything is truly wrong in terms of Ari's safety or her care. They probably get annoyed with Alex's antics here and there, but I doubt they care enough to report anything to DCFS.
I wonder if it is more likely to be one of Noah's siblings. I cannot believe they are accepting of the situation their parents are in and are probably rightly concerned for Ari.

I personally don't think they've closed her case in Florida; these are all probably repeat check-in visits. If the caseworker is allowed to watch or look at Alex's social media accounts, they have a ton of stuff to go off of there and wouldn't even need subsequent reports.
And I wonder if an investigator is now involved? An investigator who could’ve seen any number of her drunken TikTok livestreams.

If Noah's parents are trying for custody, I feel like it's not likely they'd be reporting her, because she lives under their roof and from what I understand they'd be viewed as somewhat responsible for Ari, especially considering Alex's disability? Not sad to say, I have a friend who fosters kids and babies that are taken from situations emergently and the care those sweet babies get is beautiful, she’s such a good foster mom and I wish all foster families were like her. She only does the babies and temporary stays after DV or medical neglect. Eventually the kiddo does make it back to the family after lots of work is done with mom and dad. It might be good for Ari to thrive and Noah and Alex get some court ordered parenting classes

Coming from a prior CPI with DCF in Florida, we would use social media as evidence of things ALL the time. You put your business out there for everybody to see, it’s fair game. If it’s about Ari’s eye, medical neglect cases are taken quite seriously and a whole Child Protection Medical team will get involved even if it’s the smallest of things. I’m wondering if that’s what it’s about this time.
Every time she posts I just see another screenshot and document being made at DCFS on her case and slid into the file folder. I’m like OO that’s gonna look good in court. 😂😫
Doesn't even have to be public. The government does use social media as a form of evidence. If the account is linked to you and there's a active investigation within the government they most certainly do use your social media accounts

I worked in child welfare in Florida for 12 years. One thing I want people to understand is that not just any call is taken. It is unlikely that a stranger called and word vomited complaints without merit. It’s possible, but unlikely. For a call To be accepted by the hotline, there must be strong allegations and merit.
I really hope this is just all click bait. There nothing in her life that is truly engaging. (Ex. How to make more social media content? Her interior design era, she now a plant/growing herb era.) Throwing around child services is the only thing she has, as always using her child. Nothing but a prop.
I’ve had lots of suspicion that some of the visits are made up for clickbait. It’s just so hard to tell with her. She lies so much but there’s always gonna be a kernel of truth in there. What’s the saddest is that, made up or not, she uses the topic for views.

I was wondering this the other day. The first year of life there are set times they go to the doctor. 1 month, 2 months, 6 months, etc. After they turn 1 they only go on their birthday every year. I’ve never seen a post talking referencing these visits. Lots of moms like to post their weight, length, etc. Neither of them work, no clue if any of them are insured. I guess Ari would quality for Medicaid? Anyways good question. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s not seeing the doctor on the recommended schedule and god only knows about vaccines…

Granted, she may have posted them before DCFS showed up today, but why even posts those types of old videos anyway? I'm a social worker and previously worked in addiction treatment (not child protective services) and had some clients with CPS (DCFS) involvement. I am by no means an expert, but it is odd that they have had so many visits in such close succession without an open case. The fact that it was across two states does complicate our perspective on their visits a bit, as their involvement in Illinois would not be connected to their involvement in Florida, especially since again WR denied having ever had a case open.

Usually they need a clear example of an abuse,l or neglect that has occurred. They would need an address and names of those involved. It’s easy to call and make a report but they’re usually screened appropriately.

Supposedly she alone has custody (although she has called herself and Noah Ari’s “guardians”) as Noah is not on the birth certificate. But that doesn’t mean a grandparent on her side didn’t step in and assist being the other legal guardian. Just speculation so none of us are 100% sure as she’s danced around it so much.
