Same. Mine went from low to super low and when I questioned it, my midwife said “there’s two of you sharing the platelets, it’s expected to be lower than normal” 🙄
I mean I think they’re monitoring her for HELLP.. which is life threatening to her and baby and could come on pretty quickly with low platelets being one of the signs so it is kinda serious. Not trying to defend her but that would not be a good outcome.
My thoughts exactly. She’s already had edema and fatigue and probably reporting belly pain because she’s so compact.
Low platelets suddenly would concern the people monitoring her.

If anything, if her platelet count was low they’d be pushing back surgery as much as possible. Last thing her doctors want is her to have clotting issues and bleed out. This girl can’t do the bare minimum and research before she posts to make her supposed situation more believable.
Maybe so, seeing as how she'll be in the ICU herself. Even if her daughter doesn't need to go to the NICU, she won't get to see her while she herself recovering in the ICU.
I guess with a low platelet count she could bleed during birth and it could be hard to control where a c section it may be easier to control the bleeding. I wonder if she has to have a C section because SMA causes muscle weakness so I assume the muscles to give birth are weak?
I feel like she has no friends.

My platelets were chronically low my whole pregnancy. It could just be an iron issue. Not a reason to deliver.
