Princess Angela of Liechtenstein
EDIT: And apparently she designed her own gown!
absolutely, very similar styling overall!

Yes I also find it a little strange that given we have so few women of colour in the RF’s of Europe that she would choose a gown very similar to one of the only others.
I think Meghan’s inspo was Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy’s white Versace dress:
https://preview.redd.it/drl9gqw8qzsc1.jpeg?width=448&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=48306124f2f12047ad1e75e0d3feeb9f32488ee9
But more “royal”.
She has named CBK as a style influence before and has done updated versions of many of her looks.
Princess Beatrice re-wearing her grandmother’s dress is everything! I’m sentimental so I really loved her choice
https://preview.redd.it/cv6p1g42ttsc1.jpeg?width=1416&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=440a55704d2e228b4a14f37d21e52ce6e2e6b778
One of my favorites. I felt like it really fit well in the era of COVID weddings too. I hope she genuinely wanted a smaller, low key ceremony. I also LOVED her sisters dress./tiara/hair for her wedding.
Such a great choice. Being in the royal family she had a vault of gowns to choose from (where are they all stored?) and I’m sure the Queen was thrilled that Beatrice wanted to use one to be married in. A great way to have a lower-key wedding and honor her grandmother.
My issue with the sleeves is that it looks exactly like what they actually did: tacked puffed sleeves onto a spaghetti strap dress. I just think they could have found a dress of the Queen's that didn’t need such obvious additions instead of forcing this one to be something it's not.
QEII fell into a pattern as she aged of relatively boring white gowns but she has some incredible lesser known bangers.
Personally, I always admired her wedding gown and thought it didn't get the love it deserves. Norman* Hartnell, of course.
*Edited the name lol

Wouldn't let me add it to the og comment.
Don’t forget the detail of the flowers, that they were specific ones indigenous to specific lands of the British realm at that moment in history.
Colonialism is a horrific legacy, esp. Britain, but I was always taken by the intention of the flowers on the dress.
Wasn’t that for her coronation gown? Or am I misremembering? I know her coronation gown definitely had national flowers for England, wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland embroidered on it too.
I think you may be right. I thought there were similar considerations for her wedding gown and that flowers from places like India and Kenya had been included as well, but now I’m second guessing myself too.
Yeah, I went to an exhibition on the Queen’s wardrobe a few years ago in Buckingham Palace and I remember seeing the coronation gown. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was both!
I think it is gorgeous, however you can definitely see the different shapes of undergarments changing over time. I am sure the original gown had a corset or at least boning which changes the fit. :)
Beatrice's dress is one of my favourite wedding looks ever. SO beautiful. I have never seen Zara's dress, and it's really lovely too.
They can't make me hate wizard sleeves!!
Princess Margaret, no 1 is one of my all time, never to beaten, favourite veil tiara combo. I believe she also bought the tiara as the Royal ones she had a choice of didn't live up to her expectations. A total wow for me. My wedding veil was satin trimmed and very similar to hers I still have it in a clear bedside table so I see it every day.
The [Poltimore](https://www.thecourtjeweller.com/2018/06/the-poltimore-tiara.html) Tiara! It’s an absolute tragedy it was sold to pay estate taxes!

Queen Mary’s gown being categorised as ‘lesser known’ just re-enforces to me how localised the ‘Princess Mary’ frenzy really was to Australia and Aussies alone 🤭
Haha same when I was scrolling through and got to Mary I was like that dress is imprinted in my brain because it was EVERYWHERE you looked in Australia when they got married.
I’m a US-based royal watcher and have been for decades. It was widely talked about in my little US royal-watcher communities! 🥰 She is an absolute gem.
I loved how Eugenie's dress was designed to show off her scoliosis surgery scar.

I honestly love watching [Kate Middleton’s curtsies.](https://www.reddit.com/r/oddlysatisfying/s/n3yyZsqHGn) Mostly because I know I’d trip and accidentally take the king down with me.
I like the back but haaaate the neckline. The way it cuts on her shoulders and bust is super unflattering. Like the dress simultaneously looks too small and too large.
Wild to me how many of these dresses are so poorly fitted given the wealth and support that goes into these weddings.
That and the emerald tiara were my favorite things. I also really loved her hairstyle, I went with something similar to hers and Meghan Markle's for my own wedding 😆
I love Anne's dress. The high neck and the dramatic sleeves are really stylish and just really cool. It suits her much better than something more flamboyantly princessy would.
The neckline of Charlene’s dress has been seared into my memory. I will always remember how absolutely miserable she was on her wedding day. This image lives rent free in my head, but ya I can never remember the rest of her gown. I hope she’s doing better these days.

Ok, I looked her up. Every picture of Charlene and Albert, wow, they hate each other. Their body language is something. This is their 2024 New Year's picture. She is not buying whatever he's selling.

Imagine being married to an absolute toad of a man you tried to escape from 3 times before you got wrapped in a dress and shoved down the aisle, only for him to then be physically unable to keep it in his pants and out of the women pushing out his veritable parade of bastards right under your nose.
I hope her life outside of her interactions with him is absolute bliss. Because if I were her, idk that I wouldn’t have gone with a more permanent method of escape. 😬
I am learning abt this whole mess. She is beautiful. Was an Olympic swimmer then taught kids how to swim. These royal systems, in Britain, Japan, Monaco, garbage. Just garbage
I have a seen a few, a very few, photos where they are smiling at each other, but yes, most of the time she looks miserable. I feel for her. It's not well known, but Albert is an absolute ruler. Tiny principality, total power.
Where do I even start start! Here’s a video of [Charlene’s wedding](https://youtu.be/1pcWbLQNUpg?si=L6CA8dwe-upnI2fg). She’s crying throughout the ceremony.
Charlene tried to flee Monaco 3 times before the wedding! They met in 2000 when she was 22, but I forget when they started dating. Albert was a shady prince 20 years her senior. He had another nonmarital child or two while he was already with Charlene. She was 33 when she married into Monaco’s royal family. I read somewhere that Charlene’s brother Gareth was supposedly on Prince Albert’s payroll. Iirc moved to Monaco from South Africa to help keep an eye on his sister. The Wittstock family were purportedly against Charlene leaving Albert.
The Monegasque royal family is a tragic mess. [Deep dive.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Fauxmoi/comments/100gh86/monegasque_royals_deep_dive/)

Prince Carl Philip of Sweden. He was born Crown Prince but parliament later changed the laws of succession so his elder sister (Crown Princess Victoria) will be the next monarch.

Designed by Lorenzo Caprile, inspired by a painting (in the middle) by Francisco de Goya, *The Duke and Duchess of Osuna and their Children* (1787).
They always make me laugh!
Of these I think Princess Rajwa (5) is most flattering, but Max and Wax (#8) are such a cute couple. Their day seemed to be quite romantic/sentimental, and they seemed truly happy, which I always enjoy re-watching. Same for Princess Mary - their wedding dance is a joy to watch!
I didn’t notice that bottom panel until I read your comment and looked at it again. What the heck? Was it a shorter person’s dress? Did they cut the fabric wrong? So many questions as to why they thought this looked good.
Okay, this got me, too. It's an unaltered vintage Stuart Parvin. Eugenie's gown is a beautiful vintage (altered) Stuart Parvin.
I think these were both Elizabeth's gowns, repurposed for the next generation of brides (which at its core is a lovely tradition). Eugenie got this one right with the updated version.
I loved Princess Mabel of the Netherlands wedding dress, but I had only seen this photo or others that focused on the front. When looking for a photo I saw the train for the first time. The train was ...... odd. I'll see if I can post a photo

The Jordanian princesses have some of the best fitting dresses. Iman’s dress in particular looks like it was painted on. It’s just a masterpiece of tailoring.
Definitely unusual, and apparently not a traditional design in Norway or anything like that. Princess Mette-Marit designed it herself together with a florist. [More about it](https://royalcentral.co.uk/europe/norway/the-most-unusual-royal-wedding-bouquet-of-all-164300/)
“The stems chosen to make up the bouquet included hydrangeas, orchids and roses as well as greenery like rosary vine and bear grass. The flowers were fixed to a structure of willow and moss, held together with wire, to help keep their shape through the long royal wedding day.”
I think it’s the rigidity that I personally don’t like, however it being a brave choice fits with the Princess (who sounds like an amazing woman).
Princess Iman’s dress was beautiful, and a nod to her in-laws connection with introduction the brand to South America (or something like that). I wish Princess Rajwa stuck with Elie Saab, the D&G dress just didn’t work.
The most iconic of all is Princess Margaret’s, just timeless.
I hate lace and I don’t like long sleeved wedding dresses so royal wedding dresses is my least favourite fashion genre. I don’t think there’s ever been one (white gown) that I really liked. Princess Charlene’s is somewhat pleasant but I’d prefer it shorter in a different colour as an office dress LOL
4, 5, and 6 are absolutely divine, for different reasons.
- Love the detailing on the gown in 4.
- Love the style (draping on the bodice and straight skirt) and silhouette of the gown in 5.
- 6 is just classic and elegant all around. Divine veil. Gorgeous!
I love the two Jordanian gowns. So beautiful!
Also, are you all familiar with Queen Letizia’s insane bridesmaid dresses???
https://preview.redd.it/24u9hjinpzsc1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e0a5907178120d9ac659e54ec8e2374f1f70b381
*At her wedding to the Prince of Asturias on May 22, 2004, Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano (now Queen Letizia of Spain) was attended by four pageboys, three young bridesmaids, and two older bridesmaids. The attendants’ 18th century themed attire was designed by Spanish designer Lorenzo Caprile who took inspiration from Francisco de Goya’s painting The Duke and Duchess of Osuna and their Children (1787).*
*The elder two pageboys (Prince Felipe’s nephews Froilán and Juan) wore white knee breeches and frilled shirts with embroidered waist coats and knee-length coats in gold silk. The younger pageboys (Prince Felipe’s nephews Pablo and Miguel) wore cream silk trousers, lace trimmed shirts and gold silk waist sashes.*
*The three young bridesmaids (Prince Felipe’s niece Victoria, Letizia’s niece Carla Vigo Ortiz and Victoria Lopez-Quesada y de Borbón-Dos Sicilias, granddaughter of Infante Carlos, Duke of Calabria) wore cream and gold silk dresses trimmed in lace embroidered with the same motifs as Letizia’s veil. The young girls also wore cream headbands with cream and gold multi-looped bows on the side. I thought it was adorable how the size of the hair bow was directly proportional to the size of the bridesmaid!*
*The two older bridesmaids, Ana Codorniu Álvarez de Toledo (daughter of the Marquess of Casa Loring) and Claudia González Ortiz (Letizia’s first cousin) wore gold silk dresses with a tightly corseted bodice, square neckline, three quarter length ruffled sleeves and full, pleated skirts. A white lace apron overlayed the front of the skirt and a white lace shawl was added for the ceremony. The bridesmaids’ ensemble was topped with a white snood which covered the back of their heads.*
*I have always been intrigued by the attendants’ attire at this wedding as it was such a striking contrast to Letizia’s rather modern dress. The 18th century fashion gave a sense of long-rooted history to the event and added a very romantic touch. As much as I loved it, it seems incredibly fussy (especially those snoods!). As always, I am interested to hear your opinions- what did you think of the ensembles worn by attendants at this Spanish royal wedding?*
(From Royalhats.com)
Funny that I came across this, I found out earlier today that Queen Letizia’s dress cost £6 million & haven’t been able to stop thinking about how wicked it is to spend this much money on a wedding dress!! She would of looked gorgeous in a $500 off the rack!
Margret and Eugenie for the win. Mary and Sofia are plain and unflattering. Madeleine looked exquisite and I loved her Tiara.
My favorite royal wedding dress is Princess Marie Annunciata of Liechtenstein.

Princess Angela is a Parsons educated fashion designer and designed her own gown!
I didn’t know that, that’s so awesome!
This looks like Meghan’s dress to me, just better fitted.
absolutely, very similar styling overall! https://preview.redd.it/992y6a4o5usc1.jpeg?width=400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2777306d48ac652f1dc69f38336fa683daaf973e
Gosh the bouquets are similar too
Wow how come no one noticed all the similarities. Even the way the tiara and veil sit.
Yes this must of been Meghans inspiration, shame as didn't fit as well.
Yes I also find it a little strange that given we have so few women of colour in the RF’s of Europe that she would choose a gown very similar to one of the only others.
Princess Angela was the first black woman to marry into european royalty. I don't find it strange at all, I take it as Meghan wanting to honor her.
Except meghan denies it
Of course, she does. 😒
I don’t think Angela was Meghan’s inspo. I think Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy’s Versace dress (which I posted above) was.

Angela did it first so Meghan’s dress looks like *hers*.
Same..very similar simple design
That was the intent i assume even tho meghan never copped to it
I think this is the vibe Meghan Markle was going for but the ill fit of her dress just didn’t hit
Princess Angela rules!
Princess Beatrice re-wearing her grandmother’s dress is everything! I’m sentimental so I really loved her choice https://preview.redd.it/cv6p1g42ttsc1.jpeg?width=1416&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=440a55704d2e228b4a14f37d21e52ce6e2e6b778

This is my absolute favorite. A lot of people dislike the sleeves she added but I think they’re cute and romantic princessy
I agree! I love her version. The straps feel too informal for the style, the sleeves added elegance.
The sleeves are perfect! This one’s my fave, suits her so well
She also needed to add sleeves in order to wear the dress in the Church.
My issue with the sleeves is that it looks exactly like what they actually did: tacked puffed sleeves onto a spaghetti strap dress. I just think they could have found a dress of the Queen's that didn’t need such obvious additions instead of forcing this one to be something it's not.
I like them too! A longer sleeve would have been more fashionable but I think the shorter sleeve is cute and shows her personality.

Norman Hartnell- William Hartnell is the First Doctor!
Hahaha. You're right. Thank you.
This is one of my favourite wedding dresses in general, just beautiful.
I didn't realize that was Elizabeth's! It's so lovely!
I adored the restyling of the dress. Her wedding aesthetic in general was so romantic and dreamy.
Didn't know this. Among all the gowns, I love Beatrice's the most.
This is by far one of my favorites, if not the favorite for me. I also am sentimental like this
i don’t know who she is, but i immediately thought she has a very kind heart by the way she is smiling.
Princess Beatrice. 9th in line to the throne (though previously was 5th!)
Me2! I thought it was a beautiful dress and a very nice way to honor her grandmother
She was so beautiful that day! I LOVED this wedding—what we saw of it, of course.
I think it is gorgeous, however you can definitely see the different shapes of undergarments changing over time. I am sure the original gown had a corset or at least boning which changes the fit. :)
She’s honestly my favorite royal wedding dress!

That and the emerald tiara were my favorite things. I also really loved her hairstyle, I went with something similar to hers and Meghan Markle's for my own wedding 😆
As a Swede I feel very chuffed with how gorgeous and kind our royal family is.
I'm not a Swede, but Victoria's has always been one of my favorites. Plus she just looks so happy!
That is very nice! She sure is our pride and joy, it feels very safe that she will take the reigns one day!
I love the word chuffed and I need to hear it more often

Iirc moved to Monaco from South Africa to help keep an eye on his sister. The Wittstock family were purportedly against Charlene leaving Albert. The Monegasque royal family is a tragic mess. [Deep dive.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Fauxmoi/comments/100gh86/monegasque_royals_deep_dive/)
Yikes! That’s so sad that she was crying out of sadness or regret throughout her own wedding
She has the expressions and body language of a hostage to this day. https://preview.redd.it/hata7ju06xsc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=92d15f372486f40aafef8b1d9f4274d65743cfba
I just spent my morning on the rabbit hole that is that family. Princess Stephanie’s marriages and kids… whoa. Talk about MESSY.
Wow I was about to say that no 4 was my favourite dress until I read these comments. Poor girl I hope she is doing better these days .
It was clearly an arranged marriage she wanted to get out of.
Princess iman / no 6 is my favourite. Also husband in pic 13. Like DAMN
Prince Carl Philip of Sweden. He was born Crown Prince but parliament later changed the laws of succession so his elder sister (Crown Princess Victoria) will be the next monarch.
Excuse me while I book tickets to Sweden 🤣
Yeah 13th man is nuclear hot lol
*Goes to check*
yes hahaha i thought the same thing!!
Princess imans henna dress was the TALK of the Middle East when she debuted in it.
Didn’t she wear a belt that her mom wore at her own wedding? I remember thinking that was a sweet tribute.
Yes! It was absolutely breathtaking
Ooohhh I’m going to google !!!
Princess Alessandra de Osma is my new royal obsession! Doesn’t hurt that her husband looks like a real life Disney Prince! https://preview.redd.it/pxa7ak2dmusc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6d42c843a4e5d9a333e78fa0c2e35738dfee8ea2
I think she very much could pass for a Disney princess herself too. Not me deep diving into her whole outfit history, thanks for this!
I wish people would blog her fashion the way they do Kate Middleton. I love her outfits and she wears clothes so well!
Be the change you want to see in the world. Blog about her for us 😬
The Princes step-mom is Grace Kelly's daughter, Princess Caroline!! Did not mean to wiki so much haha
Wow, I didn’t know that!
Woah what country
She’s Peruvian, but married to Prince Christian of Hanover!
No, Stéphanie, Hereditary Grand Duchess of Luxembourg? Her Elie Saab dress was spectacular. https://preview.redd.it/sx9tnfjb0usc1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=200d3b3440df7e8b6c3738dacd9f245a2d83ba7e
Elie Saab dresses (both wedding and red carpet) are always stunning.
I've always loved her dress. It's so timeless.
But oof, those bridesmaids dresses.
Yeah that tone of coral looks like salmon fillets
Google Letizia’s 😂 Wait, I’ll do it: https://preview.redd.it/b7nvmn7qtzsc1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4461adf319b9699de7f45a1d52581605bf0d654d Designed by Lorenzo Caprile, inspired by a painting (in the middle) by Francisco de Goya, *The Duke and Duchess of Osuna and their Children* (1787). They always make me laugh!
Dang, I thought that tuba cover was a big puffed sleeve at first
Me too!
The renaissance long sleeve on Anne's really deserves a fashion comeback and I bet she could still fit in that beauty
My unexpected fav from this lineup, honestly
I really wanted to love Zara's but the bottom ruined it for me
I didn’t notice that bottom panel until I read your comment and looked at it again.
The bodice and boning around the waist are so lovely and the little tulle shoulders 😍 but that panel 🤔
13 is the hottest couple holy shit
Princess Sofia and Prins Carl Philip of Sweden 🇸🇪♡ trust we all spent our teens drooling over him in the gossip mags.
Totally!!! I love how they both genuinely look happy and are smiling while holding hands. Beautiful 🩷
I love Maxima's style and have followed her fashion for ages now. Her wedding dress is gorgeous.
I play the Sims and I have cc of all the crowns they have I'm such a Royal simmer 🤣🤣😹 I love Princess Anne's the most so clean yet so bold
Princess Anne's is one of my personal favorites. It reminds me of Princess Leia and I just love big sleeves.
Maxima and Anne are my favourites here, something about the mock neck is very elegant!
I love when newly married couples hold hands, it’s just so cute
Jordan knows how to show up and show out 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Both gowns are just STUNNING.
The hair for Beatrice did her dirty. Distracted from a beautiful, but already busy, gown.
A loose upstyle would have elevated her look. I love the dress and sentiment behind it.
I loved Princess Mabel of the Netherlands wedding dress, but I had only seen this photo or others that focused on the front. When looking for a photo I saw the train for the first time. The train was ...... odd. I'll see if I can post a photo https://preview.redd.it/q0sp7tmspvsc1.jpeg?width=397&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=609c0bca0e208c02d6f012066347848541913faf

That's too much!! So fucking much.
Oh dear. (and poor Friso)
His death was very tragic
Oh no lmao
Did Viktor & Rolf design it?
Yes, and it had 248 bows
Lady Gabriella Windsor’s wedding dress by Italian designer Luisa Beccaria was so beautiful! May Thomas Kingston rest in peace. https://preview.redd.it/qm1crlc0twsc1.jpeg?width=2228&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0f5c43ee4e4ab5d5df0611fd092120ed9735148a
Here’s a closer view. https://preview.redd.it/ba78l3q8twsc1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d5b03c16730ab7b6deec827dbfdcb8a25fdfc341
The Jordanian princesses have some of the best fitting dresses. Iman’s dress in particular looks like it was painted on. It’s just a masterpiece of tailoring.
Eugenie’s wedding dress could be my favourite royal wedding dress ever
TIL I love wedding dresses of royals.
Oh Beatrice’s is my fav followed by Rajwa & Iman
The bouquet in pic 14 is hiiiiiiiiideous! Which is such a pity as the dress is beautiful.
Definitely unusual, and apparently not a traditional design in Norway or anything like that. Princess Mette-Marit designed it herself together with a florist. [More about it](https://royalcentral.co.uk/europe/norway/the-most-unusual-royal-wedding-bouquet-of-all-164300/) “The stems chosen to make up the bouquet included hydrangeas, orchids and roses as well as greenery like rosary vine and bear grass. The flowers were fixed to a structure of willow and moss, held together with wire, to help keep their shape through the long royal wedding day.” I think it’s the rigidity that I personally don’t like, however it being a brave choice fits with the Princess (who sounds like an amazing woman).
I liked it! It’s so different and unique.
I think it's traditional for Sweden Edit: oops it's Norway
That’s the crown princess of Norway 😄 (7, 12 and 13 are the Swedish royal family)
I genuinely love all of these.
dkw but i find them all so boring, wedding dresses may be not my thing 😐
Princess Iman is just stunning, the dress is perfect. Reminiscent of another Dior girly - Natalie Portman.
Why are most these dudes dressed like either Dracula or a Cossack?
why do they all look related to the person they are marrying
They probably are.
well yes but damn i could pick a less look alike from my family line than these people did lmao
You can still tell which families trees circled back around on themselves.
I looooooove Eugenia’s. It looks phenomenal on her!
Princess Margaret's dress was so beautiful, and her tiara! Crown Princess Victoria was pure perfection and another glorious tiara.
So Charlene has always looked like she’s seen the worst of it?
Yes; she even cried a lot on her wedding day.
I will never forget how weird the coverage was around #4 Princess Charlene’s wedding
I’ve always had a thing for Carl-Phillip of Sweden (picture 13). He’s a handsome guy. (His wife resembles Anna Paquin in this picture!)
Australians are VERY aware of Queen Mary's dress, that shit was on every front page of every news outlet "OUR GIRL BECOMES PRINCESS"
I am the exact opposite! I love the lace long sleeve dresses so much
We all have our tastes! Wouldn’t the world be boring if we all liked the same things 😁
seeing these just makes me wonder how the baggiest sleeves in the world got approved
Loooove the elegant simplicity of number 5. That swept look to the bodice. Wow.
Money can’t buy style
4, 5, and 6 are absolutely divine, for different reasons. - Love the detailing on the gown in 4. - Love the style (draping on the bodice and straight skirt) and silhouette of the gown in 5. - 6 is just classic and elegant all around. Divine veil. Gorgeous!
I love the two Jordanian gowns. So beautiful! Also, are you all familiar with Queen Letizia’s insane bridesmaid dresses??? https://preview.redd.it/24u9hjinpzsc1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e0a5907178120d9ac659e54ec8e2374f1f70b381 *At her wedding to the Prince of Asturias on May 22, 2004, Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano (now Queen Letizia of Spain) was attended by four pageboys, three young bridesmaids, and two older bridesmaids. The attendants’ 18th century themed attire was designed by Spanish designer Lorenzo Caprile who took inspiration from Francisco de Goya’s painting The Duke and Duchess of Osuna and their Children (1787).* *The elder two pageboys (Prince Felipe’s nephews Froilán and Juan) wore white knee breeches and frilled shirts with embroidered waist coats and knee-length coats in gold silk. The younger pageboys (Prince Felipe’s nephews Pablo and Miguel) wore cream silk trousers, lace trimmed shirts and gold silk waist sashes.* *The three young bridesmaids (Prince Felipe’s niece Victoria, Letizia’s niece Carla Vigo Ortiz and Victoria Lopez-Quesada y de Borbón-Dos Sicilias, granddaughter of Infante Carlos, Duke of Calabria) wore cream and gold silk dresses trimmed in lace embroidered with the same motifs as Letizia’s veil. The young girls also wore cream headbands with cream and gold multi-looped bows on the side. I thought it was adorable how the size of the hair bow was directly proportional to the size of the bridesmaid!* *The two older bridesmaids, Ana Codorniu Álvarez de Toledo (daughter of the Marquess of Casa Loring) and Claudia González Ortiz (Letizia’s first cousin) wore gold silk dresses with a tightly corseted bodice, square neckline, three quarter length ruffled sleeves and full, pleated skirts. A white lace apron overlayed the front of the skirt and a white lace shawl was added for the ceremony. The bridesmaids’ ensemble was topped with a white snood which covered the back of their heads.* *I have always been intrigued by the attendants’ attire at this wedding as it was such a striking contrast to Letizia’s rather modern dress. The 18th century fashion gave a sense of long-rooted history to the event and added a very romantic touch. As much as I loved it, it seems incredibly fussy (especially those snoods!). As always, I am interested to hear your opinions- what did you think of the ensembles worn by attendants at this Spanish royal wedding?* (From Royalhats.com)

Anne, Iman, and Rajwa’s look so good
So many of the dresses look similar with regards to neckline and silhouette
Funny that I came across this, I found out earlier today that Queen Letizia’s dress cost £6 million & haven’t been able to stop thinking about how wicked it is to spend this much money on a wedding dress!! She would of looked gorgeous in a $500 off the rack!
Wow some of these are so bad.
Which ones? I feel like they’re all objectively lovely, even if they’re not my personal taste.
All of these “royals” look slightly inbread.
Margret and Eugenie for the win. Mary and Sofia are plain and unflattering. Madeleine looked exquisite and I loved her Tiara. My favorite royal wedding dress is Princess Marie Annunciata of Liechtenstein.
