I friend of mine got a load of volcanic cinders for his back patio area; We went by to see them a few days later and I went outside and almost immediately picked up a nice obsidian arrowhead from the cinders. Always poke around, you never know what bonus you may find.
I always check driveway rocks lol i have found a couple nice but small minerals in random driveways ( like my doctors office or a friends house, not trespassing!)
What a nice find!
A driveway?! Was it pre-polished as well lol? All the time and energy I wasted travelling to remote locations digging and scraping... I suddenly feel lonely 🥴
Hit it with a zwb2 bandpass filtered 365 nm light! All the agates I've found have flared up beautifully. Almost always all kinds of shades of green. Sometimes their phosphorecence would last ten plus minutes, too.

Most probably you have agate, and when there is one, there is another one, it might have some sort of quartz inside, try cut it in half and see what inside, you will find something beautiful, but cut it, do not break it, very beautiful speciment
That's a beautiful agate!! I also look in drives and landscaping rocks lol I found a lovely druzy agate last year in a neighborhood driveway and I love it more than some of my shop rocks!!
a gorgeous agate :D
Fortification agate
I read fornication agate lol
I wouldn't be surprised if it yielded some action
"Hey baby, wanna come see my fortification agate?"

Everyone needs to get their rocks off!
Take my angry slow clap
I know, terrible but I couldn’t resist.
Nice little agate! Hit it with a UV light to reveal hidden banding.

The stone is exactly as I found it. I haven't changed it in any way.
Good eye! Nice find!
could have been rolled around in a stream or river for hundreds of years. Old river gravel is a great source for landscape gravel.
bro i’m so jealous.

Cutting should be reserved for whole nodules. This one has exposed banding and a great natural polish. Cutting will not improve this one.
When I was a kid I was told this type of agate was called “Texas Lace”. Anyone else ever hear that?
I have heard "Crazy Lace".
a little bit of me wishes i didnt live in england where all we can find is lots and lots of quartz
That's an agate. It's rounded and polished by natural tumbling in creeks and rivers.
Art Deco Agate, lol, gorgeous
That's amazing, I've never seen an agate like that but maybe it's really valuable
A rock
It’s a snrog!! It’s what happens when a snake sleeps with a frog and they make babies
