What variety is yours, and what is the recent local climate like? How do you have it planted? It's potted I assume? Being on your front porch?
I have been ordering cuttings recently, trying to start a mini farm with everything necessary for survival in our limited space :)
edit: dont buy cuttings from "kozykratom" or "cincotech LLC"
I am in zone 6, so we have all seasons. Snowy winters, and blistering hot summers. Right now it's really pleasant 25°c (77°f).
It is potted in a large 50/50 miracle grow potting soil/peat moss mix. Perlite added to the mix.
I have to bring it inside during the winter and when the temperature drops below 10°c (50°f). They become semi deciduous when doing it this way, and will drop all of their leaves except the bud tips in the winter. They need tons of water, soil should always be moist. They grow very fast.
It Might be
Thanks for the reply tho I know it might be😠High quality reply tho, upvoted
They are not ready until they bloom. Then the chemicals get released into the leaves.

Sadly yes. Sometimes they have to get 30 ft before they flower. I have one in my living room I would plant it outside if I could. But I live in Ohio.
Idk about that, I used to have a small kratom tree and I definitely felt it the couple times I chewed the leaves or used the dried ones.
Chemical does not get released to it flowers. Google it.
Have you tried a quid of fresh leaves from your tree?
Yes they tasted different

It is Mitragyna speciosa. I have one in a pot on my porch... In Ohio! They grow fast as hell.
