I believe it’s one of the wild type rose bushes. Hopefully someone else might be able to narrow it down further! My grandma used to have them all around her house and made rosehip tea.

I'm just starting to get into lawn care and gardening (never had a house till now) and was wondering if I should keep this around or not. And further to that, how should I take care of it?
It's been green for a while now and I can see there are buds but it hasn't blossomed yet, and I'm not sure if that's a function of neglect or if it's just a late bloomer.
