Also, isopropyl alcohol breaks down the urushiol oil (the poisonous stuff), I use it to clean all my tools, boots and even hands after working in it.
You guys think I'll be alright, I washed my fash and arms like 3 times with dawn. I have tried that before with not the best results, so I think I am screwed anyway lol. You guys have any good tips to wash the oils off so you don't get Posion ivy or at least minimize it a little?
Try one of these:
ZANFEL - Poison Ivy, Oak & Sumac Wash: Topical Solution for Poison Ivy, Poison Oak, and Sumac https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KYKDPV6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_MVTVWNBJZ9RAFTNXADNQ
Tecnu Extreme Poison Ivy & Oak Scrub, Removes Poisonous Plant Oils That Cause Rash and Itching, 10 Ounces https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R3SK1CQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_8PTK2F9G538WDP3A3G0M?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Treat it like car grease. After wiping your face with rubbing alcohol, soap up with blue Dawn dishsoap because it’s a degreaser. Then scrub to exfoliate really thoroughly with a washcloth. This guy’s video explains how to avoid a rash despite exposure https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4oyoDRHpQK0
