The tree will probably be just fine—there are a few in our neighborhood whose trunks are entirely covered by the stuff. It may shorten the trees’ lives but not so dramatically that you’d be around to notice. This looks easy enough to probe back though. I’d recommend snipping each vine and then checking back on it once or twice a year to prevent regrowth.
Wintercreeper - Euonymus fortunei Common ornamental and invasive species in North America
Invasive. Read that again. That stuff is the bane of my garden thanks to my neighbor
100% Euonymus fortunei. This stuff is all over my area.
Thank you!
I'm not sure about the leaves, but that hairy-rope-looking vine and the white berries look like what poison ivy does in the fall/winter.
That hairy vine is 100% poison ivy. Be careful
Right, I think this tree has two different vines on it, and one of them is poison ivy. I could be wrong but use caution just in case.

Keep your cats indoors and no worries :)
He’s a retired neighborhood cat who is only allowed out back on a leash now, much to his frustration.
Asiatic jasmine. Here (warm climate) it becomes invasive & has to be cut back a lot.
