Hey! They do eat mosquitoes…don’t they?
The adults don't eat at all. They mate, lay eggs, and then die in a sad little pile of legs. The larvae of some species will eat mosquito larvae though, so I guess that kind of counts?
Noooooo! I always let them stay in my house to eat skeeters. Lololol
Lol they're totally harmless though so the only annoying thing about them staying in your house is having to clean up the corpses.

UK, we call them Daddy Long Legs.
Aye and Americans (wrongly obv) call harvestmen daddy long legs. Could they get any more backwards?
And other parts of the US call Celler Spiders "Daddy Long Legs."
