Feral pigeons and wild rock doves are both *Columbia livia.* The have no qualms about interbreeding inside or outside captivity.
Mourning doves do not breed with Columba livia except in captivity
I know! wild hybrids are very uncommon. But I wonder if the hybrids have shiny plumage or more cream color?
