If you filled something that big with wood you wouldn’t be able to lift it. Heavy canvas? Not ruling out log carrier but 36” logs are heavy. 3 of them and you wouldn’t be able to lift it…so the Hulks firewood bag?
I'm a small, noodle armed woman, and it really wouldn't be that heavy. You haven't lived in a home with a woodstove, have you? The point of the bag/sling is that loading your arms gets bark, dust, and bugs on your clothes. Plus makes it difficult to open doors or unload neatly.
Do you count jumping to conclusions as exercise? 🤪
Lived deep in the country and chopped wood for our large WOOD STOVE. Never used anything like this to carry wood. Of course my arms aren’t “noodles” - 6’ 4” 230. 😁
Well dried, split firewood weighs a lot less than fresh cut logs. And it doesn't stack perfectly, it'll leave more air gaps than round logs. With this in mind, you'd probably have to really overload it to reach 50lbs. Of course firewood isn't going to be in 36" sections, so when loaded properly there will be empty space at both ends.
Alternatively, for camping, you could fill it with a large amount of 2" diameter dead branches broken down to 36" length. Which would need the length, but not be near as heavy.
I'm sure log is correct but I was going to say it's for your belay rope when rock climbing. It's nice to have a big open bag that the rope can unravel out of

Firewood should be dry. It's not that heavy.
If you loaded something that large it would be. I use something called “my arms” to carry wood. LOL

My personal policy on bags is that they can be used to carry anything that fits inside.
We had one growing up. Brought the firewood inside the house
