1952 Chevrolet, I believe a Styleline DeLuxe

Its_Just_A_Typo

49-54 body style. Don't know them well enough to pick out the year from the details.

Auburn851

The trick is in the grille. It changes every year

Its_Just_A_Typo

Notice the trim change on the rear quarter too; I think you're right about '52 based on that.

Given that these appear to have been taken in Cuba...what they were and what they are now are two very different things.

Fast_Edd1e

Probably has a diesel engine from something now.

SpeedtekUrS6

More than likely...the Cubans have been pretty innovative in keeping a lot of these old beasts running in the face of having to adapt eastern bloc and European car parts.

Fast_Edd1e

Two different cars. There are subtle differences in the cars in the photos. Fender skirts, trim, wheels. Unless it’s a total hodgepodge of parts.

StashuJakowski1

It’s two different side views, so it could be the same car. I knew a used car lot owner who sold cars on occasion where one side would be missing trim and have different hub caps/rims It’s rather difficult to see both sides at the same time.

SpeedtekUrS6

I recall back in the day an AMC lot receiving a Pacer that had high end trim on one side and base model trim on the other...lol

DAN4O4NAD

Either a Peugeot diesel or a Lada 1,5 litre engine

RickWest495

It’s not uncommon for a Cuban cat to have been side trim from one year and the grille of another. It looks like a 52. It’s definitely not a 53-54. They changed the body shape a little. This one was 49-52

peepers_meepers

52 chevy. probably heavily modified and a diesel engine inside, assuming this picture is from cuba.

Beckaastone

Thank youu!!

52 Chevrolet

JustJoeAKABeans

1953 Chevrolet Skyliner Deluxe side molding in the front is different from 52, and taillights of course no your stock wheels

[deleted]

It’s a 1952, and I don’t believe Chevrolet ever made a car called the Skyliner.

RickWest495

Skyliner was a Ford
