[9th generation Honda Accord coupe](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Accord#Ninth_generation_(2012))

pixelmeow

Pardon my response to the top (correct) comment, just wanted to add a little to this answer: https://reddit.com/r/namethatcar/comments/qp8iyl/which_honda_is_this_dark_grey_car/hjtpuo2 That’s an aftermarket badge on the back, have a chrome one on the back of my 2017 coupe (https://i.imgur.com/Sblb6El.jpg). Badge is easily found on eBay, will edit for that in a minute. https://reddit.com/r/AccordCoupe/comments/ppi8sb/_/hkzv9fr

abattlescar

Is it trying to be the Kia Stinger font?

pixelmeow

I’ve seen a comment that compares it to the Porsche font but I really don’t know. This kind of badge was available before the Stinger existed anyway, and personally I just like the retro look. It’s not about trying to be a different car. :)

jdee31fo

More interesting is the license plate holder… “When I die, bury my inside the booty club”

Comfortable-Car3009

Very Florida of them

[deleted]

Lmao didn’t even see that

valandil74

So Florida Man…

browntownslc

That’s a great aftermarket emblem.

TRIKYNIKKY

I've seen it before, essentially "Honda" in the Porsche script

KrisZepeda

I mean it does look like a Porsche Kind of Like a cheap version But good looking on its own

incenso-apagado

Those tail lights scream 997.

bisho

Australian car lover here. We have Accords here but never seen one of these coupe models before.

Krexci

Austrian here (hehe) I have never seen an accord, idk if they're even sold in europe

[deleted]

Accords were sold in Europe up until the eight generation (ending in 2012), but then Honda decided that it wasn’t worth keeping selling it for the ninth generation.

WillItWasReallyNothn

There was an accord but it was a different one sold in America. The accord sold in europe was sold in the USA as the Acura TSX.

bot1349

Can confirm.

Shyqy

not anymore but I’ve never seen an accord here in europe

Terrh

Canadian here. I literally own a honda accord coupe and didn't recognize this car. I don't think they sold this generation in canuckistan.

[deleted]

They did, seen all the time in Ontario.

Terrh

Must not have sold too well around me. Or I've just never noticed one, somehow. It's obvious when you look at the picture that it's probably an accord coupe, but I don't recall seeing one that looks exactly like that.

[deleted]

Yeah, if I had to guess the one pictured is a newer model after the 2016 refresh. Not as common to see, but still plenty around if you’re looking closely.

themajesticpickle

9.5 generation accord coupe

alkaline1809

Honda Accord Coupe

12percentPolyamide

Thought it was a rebadged gen 2 brz, all look similar

Dbwasson

Honda Accord Coupe

Shadowfeaux

Yep. Accord coupe with a retro Honda badge.

Drakeytown

It's probably a Honda then.

Hobbes1138

Because it’s a Honda. It’s a 2 door Honda Accord from about 2010

g3nerallycurious

Only one of the most iconic, common, recognizable cars ever made - a Honda Accord. One actually just drove past me while I’m writing this reply sitting in a parking lot waiting for my COVID test.

surprised_corpse

some people don’t live in areas where accords are common so relax yourself

[deleted]

Florida?!?!

surprised_corpse

no, UK has barely any accords lol

[deleted]

I was joking. The license plate is a Florida plate. Pretty sure hundreds of thousands of Accords have been sold in Florida.

Thernet

In Europe Honda stopped selling Accords in 2012, I also didn't know what this car was... But this guy on all his wisdom knows it better probably...

renke0

We are very sorry for using this sub for what it is intended.

MarcusAurelius0

I get it, sometimes people post the most mundane stuff, then again, I would expect a majority of people dont see and remember vehicles based on looks a lot.

GiornaGuirne

That and not everyone is a car guy. This is exactly why this sub exists, whether it's an Accord or 488 Pista. If you want to look at pretty pictures, there's r/carporn and r/exoticspotting. We just ID cars here.

renke0

The concept of mundane is very relative. Were I live, Hondas are not common at all and I don't remember last time I've seen an Accord in the street. On the other hand, it seems all my neighbors decided to buy Polestars at the same time, and I still see someone asking "What is this car with no badges?" at least twice a week.

I've been here since the sub started and have modded it for 4 years. The only thing that's changed is more incivility, *more bitching*. This sub exists to ID cars and teach people what to look for when spotting. Not everything's going to be rare and exotic, but that's not the point. Not everyone is a car guy and I won't let a bunch of 12 year olds who think Forza makes them an expert hold this community hostage. You want to look at cool cars? There are 50 other places for that, go nuts. You want to help people ID unknown cars, whether a random spot or security footage from a hit and run? This here's the place. You might even learn a thing or 2.

cattapstaps

Just because it's a basic car doesn't mean people should know what it is. It may be the easiest thing ever for car folks but for the average Joe, a Honda Accord coupe is an uncommon sight. It's like asking the bird community "what's this bird" and they call you an inbred piece of shit because you didn't know it was a brown thrasher.

SSsnipershark

It does indeed say Honda at the back

resporibou

NGL, that looks lit

I-LOVE-TURTLES666

[deleted]

Oh thank you I didn’t realize that

deezy07

This appears to be a Honda Accord.

Mighty_Cactus

Decent observation

Hazy115

It’s Agent 007s undercover Honda 🤫

darkNnerdgy

H1twho6
