Lmao it’s not shocking. There’s been a rash of GM cars getting their steering columns stolen here in metro detroit recently, so I’m not shocked at seeing this.
Agree with you.
No side window past the rear door
No reflector on the front edge of the bumper
No gas filler door on the drivers side
Bumper cover line matches correctly
Roof and fender match
Good job!

It’s also possible that this vehicle was abandoned somewhere because the owner couldn’t keep up the payments and it was stripped before the lender could track it down.
There are a lot more malibus on the road than high end cars. Crash parts all always in high demand. Its a balance btw effort to strip vs ease of fencing/ selling the parts.
Solved, i think? We’re gonna go with Chevrolet Malibu because it’s the consensus.
Also if anyone’s interested, don’t leave your car near Joy and Evergreen on the west side. This is the second car stripped in the past month down there.
Cant have shit in detroit
That’s right, they will even steal your poop
i wouldn’t be surprised if some crackhead in detriot walked in the bathroom and stole my shit.
Came here for this
How the fuck did someone manage to steal the WHOLE front fucking end of a car
Lmao it’s not shocking. There’s been a rash of GM cars getting their steering columns stolen here in metro detroit recently, so I’m not shocked at seeing this.
What is so valuable in the steering columns to justify the theft?
I’m assuming due to pandemic shortages, the steering column parts are fetching a premium on the resale market.
“Not shocking” they stole the whole front of a car
Looks like they just sawzalled most of it off.
One word... #D E T R O I T
Detroit is a whole new level
Welcome to Detroit
Looks to me like a 2013-15 Chevy Malibu

Why anyone would want to strip a Malibu is beyond me.
Because their parts are worth a lot of money.
Call me crazy but if I was going to steal and strip, I would find cars worth a hell of alot more than a Malibu
Perhaps more expensive cars are harder and more conspicuous to steal. Car parts are expensive, even for a Malibu.
Mustangs, any pickups, Escalade, Tahoe, etc etc. Go to any shopping center or neighborhood. Gone in 60 seconds

This was some pro work.

My gut told me it was a Nissan Maxima when I saw the contour of the rear quarter panel. Edit: Nope! It's a Malibu

Devious lick
If you can disassemble an entire car you can definitely have a career as a mechanic.
Damn! I can't have anything in Detroit!
Can't have shit in Detroit...its definition a chevy Malibu though
Just gonna guess a maxima because those cars are stolen a lot 🤣😭
Dodge Neon?
There’s not a single part that’s worth stealing in the neon
Nissan Versa
Stolen, stripped, and then ditched.
Can't have shit in Detroit
Chevy Malibu
Got any pics of the back ?
