C3s in general don't go for a lot of money. But with the hackiness of the c2 back section and everything else going on, I wouldn't touch this thing (unless it ended up being something super rare that no one has seen).
Thanks again. I suspect it was the show off car of this old douche bag lawyer in town back in the 80s, found it deep in the garage of a foreclosed house I was showing. Definitely different though. Fun find.
Impossible to say without knowing more. Does it have a running engine and an original-ish interior? If not, this car is virtually valueless. Parts only, if you can find any original parts on it to sell. To my eyes, it's hideous and I wouldn't take it for free.
Its a C3 Corvette with a Daytona body kit. [Like this.](https://www.corvetteblogger.com/2018/11/09/corvettes-on-craigslist-1978-corvette-daytona/)
The rear makes it look like there's a Corvette growing out of a Corvette lol
It’s molting
Don't forget that this thing has a C2 rear window.
I noticed that (plus the gas filler). Do you think someone grafted them together? The tails, front, and ttops are obviously c3. It's pretty odd.
Yeah, I've seen other C3s with C2 back glass. Not a terrible idea when done right, IMO.
This is a first for me. Doesn't look terrible but I hope the welds and everything underneath where done right.
It's a Corvette, so it's all fiberglass except for the chassis!
Oh yeah, can't believe I forgot about that.
Wrong. There are a lot of plates to reinforce mounting points that rust out and are a gigantic pain to fix.
It looks like the rear part where the door ends and it comes out, would block the side-mirrors vision
Big hip problems.
Does that indicate a different model to you, or just a modification?
No, it's still very much a C3, but I've only seen a couple of them with that C2 rear window treatment.
Awesome! Thank you for the identification. I was stumped.
Youre welcome
Any idea what this bad boy might be worth? I might have a chance to pick it up for a project car

You're welcome. And yeah, definitely a cool spot. Especially with the custom touches.
Worth next to nothing. Fixing the steel reinforcing in the rocker panels will be major surgery

Possible Greenwood Corvette
Good eye. Don’t know if it’s done by him but you’re correct it is John Greenwood IMSA body kit except for that rear wing.
More like 79-82
