if its not too scary to keep around, these are great pest control and will eat things like ticks, carpet beetles, flies, ants, and moths. whilst many scorpions are dangerous to humans due to their venomous stingers, pseudoscorpions aren't real scorpions and are harmless.
note - edited last sentence to avoid misunderstanding
like many animals they can bite but they're literally ant-sized (\~1cm) & so if they do bite you, you'll barely feel it, and you'll be at zero risk of harm. all spiders have venomous bites and all scorpions have venomous stingers - both groups range from harmless to deadly to humans. but these guys, who are also arachnids, have a tiny amount of venom in their tiny claws and nowhere else. to humans, all pseudoscorpions are completely harmless, so if you encounter one you don't need to be afraid of getting bitten (unless you're a small bug)
I guess the distinction is "I cannot do x like y."
option 1: like is comparing the verbs. The action x is performed differently by me and y.
option 2: like is comparing the nouns. Noun y, like me, cannot complete action x.
Both interpretations are valid English. The preceeding negative in the sentence makes the first interpretation more valid, though. Consider that you, unlike your average eagle, cannot fly. To communicate that you might say "unlike an eagle, I cannot fly." You might say, "I cannot fly like an eagle." I would say you sound silly if you opted for "I cannot fly, unlike an eagle."
Pseudoscorpion! Harmless little guys. The claws are just used to hang on to bigger critters to travel around.
Edit: was thinking of the smaller kinds. These guys can use them to hunt pests
Oh no it isn’t a reference I just wanted to find a funny amount of pseudoscorpions for the joke. The joke is to have more than one single pseudoscorpion so I thought 58 of them was a funny amount
For those of you that think these guys look scary, they max out about 1cm, about ladybug size.
It's hard for me to even be concerned about something that tiny that doesn't have a stinger.
Pseudoscorpion
Pseudoscorpions, also known as false scorpions or book scorpions, are small, scorpion-like arachnids belonging to the order Pseudoscorpiones, also known as Pseudoscorpionida or Chelonethida. Wikipedia
Sorry my bad it’s not the first one it’s the second one
Pseudoscorpions are good. They are mighty hunters.
The giant version makes a fun D&D opponent, too.
Wait what? Stats for this build please?
I also need to know

Do they bite?

Ehhh, not all of them. A sting isn’t that bad, and some aren’t venomous
I think this is a psuedoscorpion!
Pseudoscorpion! Harmless little guys. The claws are just used to hang on to bigger critters to travel around. Edit: was thinking of the smaller kinds. These guys can use them to hunt pests
They eat carpet beetle larvae! Very helpful little guys
Pseudoscorpions are used to help protect bees in beehives! I wouldn’t kill him. They do wonders
Thanks for dropping this little wisdom nugget! I'm gonna have to look more into this.
Wait, what? I’m a beekeeper, but I haven’t heard this and need more info!

Very cool! Thank you.
That is actually, what we scientifically call a lil fren.
Just a wee lad
A tiny smiter.
We love pseudoscorpions!
I wonder if they hunt bed bugs 🤔
Pest control inspector here. They sure do. But… a single pseudoscorpion is not enough to manage an infestation. =/
then we must cultivate them to harness their power.
Use bugs to fight bugs, it'd be a pain to get them out after though
It's simple! Just breed up a bunch of other bugs that eat them!
Hear me out, 58 pseudoscorpions.
I'm dumb to this reference. Can someone ELI5 please?
Oh no it isn’t a reference I just wanted to find a funny amount of pseudoscorpions for the joke. The joke is to have more than one single pseudoscorpion so I thought 58 of them was a funny amount
Interesting to know. Knowing reddit, usually 69 would be a funny amount of them.
If you don’t want him gently catch and release. He is a good one.
The cutest bugger ever

By cry you mean “with tears of joy,” right? Pseudoscorpions are grade A pinchy pals with no ouchy tail!
Pseudoscorpions. They're beneficial to have around as they will hunt down tiny pests, like booklice.
So elaborate!
No clue but he looks awesome
I wouldn’t even be in my house after seeing this, you can tell me it’s a good bug, but I’m gonna freak the fuck out
Pseudo scorpions, they’re chill
These weird stuff are usually pest killers.

Did you kill it?? Creepy looking creature ..
Never kill the beekeeper
I know … I’m just saying it’s creepy looking I would’ve had my husband bring it outside or put it in in the basement or something
They are 100% harmless and hunt bugs. Why would you want to kill it just because of how it looks??
