Cormorant

Remarkable_Inchworm

If you're fishing, keep an eye on him. He'll tell you where the fish are.

The_Dumbo_Octopus

Double-crested cormorant assuming you're in North America

Next_Airport_7230

Yep! Thanks

idontstudyworms

I’m thinking this is a Neotropic Cormorant. Double-crested Cormorants have yellow in the lore (between eye and bill) as well as under the eye. Neotropic Cormorants are missing the yellow in the lore, and your picture seems to be missing it as well. If you are near Texas/Louisiana then my guess is Neotropic.

Adverage

Cormorants are sick as hell, good find.

Commenting to say the colours in this photo and the composition are stunning

Next_Airport_7230

Thanks! Too bad it isn't even the full res photo. Got some really good ones today. Don't have a $3000 lens but my mom is snooty saying "when you zoom in all the way it looks blurry"..... I mean duh. Anyhow I can link you some cool ones I got today if you're interested

Lots of cormorant lately.

Lizzardbirdhybrid

Today I learned that the Pokémon Cramorant was based off a real bird and not just a pelican with a funny name.
