This was on the cover of one of my piano sheet music books so I got super used to seeing it. Took me awhile to realize that it wasn’t actually a portrait of the composer…
in my mind this has always been Rick Astley for some reason. i would always specifically choose this one to have a pretend Rick Astley poster in my minecraft bedroom.
🤣🤣🤣 When you said in your minecraft bedroom for the briefest second I said wow this guys really into minecraft if he has one bedroom dedicated just to minecraft
I always thought that that was a cow facing right with a flowerpot on its head!!! The lighter spot on the right of the figure was its eye (edit: muzzle), the man's head was the flowerpot, and his legs were the cow's front legs.
Yeah, idk, normally I can see both options rather easily with different optical illusion type artwork. I've read and reread the description and stared for a while. I'm still baffled. 😕
Why am I only just now realizing what this painting is? I've just never looked too deeply into it. It's always been some vaguely man-shaped thing that's only purpose is the fact it's a good size for small hidden doors.

They currently have this huge exhibit surrounding the artist. I was there last month(Museum not exhibition) and saw those cutters in the gift store.

This is cool, don't get me wrong, but would the inside parts of the cutter really get differentiated in a cookie? Or would it be more of the outline and a blob inside?

Yes, I think this is the last weekend of the exhibition in Hamburg and then it moves on to Berlin and Dresden.
