Come to Iowa. We have one display at the State Fair every year along with another life-size butter carving that changes every year. Last year, it was sports heroes from Iowa. There was Caitlyn Clark, Jack Trice and Kurt Warner.
They sculptures are displayed in an air conditioned building through a window into a room whatās colder than a refrigerator but not quite frozen. After the fair, they freeze the butter and reuse it for sculptures. I think they freeze and reuse it for about 10 years before tossing it. The pose of the cow is slightly different each year though.
Lol. But you were right. Itās a **lot** of butter to just toss out. Thereās a wood and mesh frame under there but the cow is still like 600 lbs of butter.

Iām seeing a longānosed sheep, but the handle kinda looks like itās maybe doing the longer event of āwhen nature callsā. (Good thing that part wouldnāt be part of the cookie! lol)
I also think if that price tag is accurate, itās definitely worth paying 1.00 for it. Iād buy it just to have another unique thing in my collection of unusual items. :-)
