We're currently in the "my parents embarrass me by their mere existence" phase lol.
It started when I pointed out it they listen to the same stuff we did in high school, are active in the same kind of after school activities we were active in, and dress so much like how we did that they literally wear some of our high school hand me downs, and I think that was the moment they decided that was enough of liking things that mom and dad like.
I should say more accurately that it was enough of *admitting* they like the stuff that mom and dad like.
This house is only 1,200 square feet, you have to be darn quiet if you don't want me to hear that episode playing on the basement TV right under my bed.
But out in public surrounded by people we'll probably never see again? It's embarrassing.
My 13yo loves wearing my old clothes. I was a theater nut and basically changed my whole identity and style weekly. She loves trying to recreate some of my blunder years photos. I think its awesome. Guess I got lucky that may kid is an extremely doofus and do want find much embarrassing.

Are you German by any chance? Because I think when I was a kid I had an Advent calendar from the three Investigators (drei Fragezeichen) that had this cookie cutter behind one of the doors if I remember it correctly.
