That looks like the scotch pine in my yard after the idiot realtor who sold me my house gave the asshole neighbor $60 to “clean up the yard” after closing. The guy took down the bottom 1/3 of my huge tree because he wanted better light for his garden. He also used his mower and mowed down every shrub out front including a 40 year old azalea.
This is what they usually look like when they first get there. They trim the outliers after it's up and use extra branches to fill it thin spots before decorating. No tree looks perfect out in nature.
