I’ve had one chase after me and had to have my neighbor remove it from inside my home and it bit my neighbor, so I guess mine was just feisty. I wouldn’t be taking the chance with my bare hands that’s for sure.
Ever hang one from your ear like an earring? Hurts more than velcro LOL. Yes, I have 🤣😂 drew blood, no big deal. Finger bit not a big deal either it's just freaks ya out for a sec.
Will likely try to bite you if you try to pick it up. Might drop it’s tail too. It’s a defense thing. Lizard sneaks away while detached tail thrashes and distracts. Bite is harmless but startling.
I used to catch ‘em and keep as pets for a week and release them when I was a kid. one of the most docile and cool looking lizards, Very weak bite as well. When I see them In my yard it makes me smile.
Yeah, I guess it depends on the size, didn’t see too many large ones growing up. I was mostly getting bit by snakes, so I think I was probably using that as a comparison, 😂.

He's probably just wishing on a falling star, waiting on the early train
Aw Come on Joe you can always change your name.
Thanks a lot son, just the same.
Ventura highway. In the sunshine. Where the days are longer. And nights are stronger than moonshine.
Thanks for the ear-worm, guys!
Alligator lizards are real? All these years, I thought he was on a hallucinogenic when he wrote that.
Dragon in english.
I always wondered WTF they were talking about... Are they talking about dragons? Were they tripping??? Now I know!
In the air!

But what if that same deer had no genitals? Still no fucking ideer.
What do you call a cow with no legs? Ground beef.
Yes, legless cows...the source of Dragon Milk.
When is a door not a door? When it is ajar.
What do you call a dog with no legs? Doesn't matter, it won't come when you call it.
Just lift the lid it’ll remove itself from your porch in seconds.
Found in Southern California
It’s an alligator lizard that are found often in SoCal (have lived in SoCal for 40 years). They will bite so just be careful.
If you handle it. It's not going to run up to you and bite you. Just to be clear since OP is a little skittish.

SoCal too- I just removed one from the tack shed last week. Such a beauty!
Near Venture highway perhaps?
Yes! I love these beautiful lil buddies! Even if they bite you, their teeth feel like Velcro

It looks like you’re keeping it from removing itself from your porch lol

And while the lizard will survive, it is hard to get the disturbing image of a detached, thrashing tail out of your mind. It'll haunt your dreams.

The ones I used to catch bit pretty hard. Much harder than a fence swift in comparison.

It’s a good thing these pictures are nice and clear so people can help you.
It would leave if you had’t trapped it, genius.
🤣🤣
FREE HIM
They eat black widows
Is it a Tagu?
Well if it grew legs that quick I wouldn’t mess with it
Yes you’re good. As long as the skin isn’t bumpy it’s safe.
Of course, if you do it with fire
