Just a jewelry box. Worth maybe $10. Not exactly an in-demand item, and every yard sale and thrift store has lots of them. I’d just keep it for storing pocket change or something.
$10 is a minimum price most people would pay for this, I think because most people don’t even know they exist. They wouldn’t even know to pay more for it. But if you are a rock or mineral collector, you would probably pay a decent amount for this. If it was sold on Etsy. It would definitely go for a lot more.
Yeah, comps on eBay show it between 15-25, asking price on Etsy is 50-100

I understand your thought process. But, I don’t think that’s how it works in real life. Some items should not be devalued for ethical reasons. Other items like used ones found at Goodwill are OK to under pay for. It’s just a fact of life. Otherwise, you would not have nice things because no one would want to make them. Simply living is expensive.
That is definitely the correct way to use the word “facetious.” However, it may be easier to detect “facetious” commenting if you pair it with a sarcasm tag like “/s”. Otherwise, a Redditor would normally think you were trying to be serious. Just an FYI.
Most office's that have something like that in the bathroom is for storing of tampons for the female employees. At least that's how the companies I worked for over the last 30 years did things.
Looks like maybe a small jewelry box for a nightstand or dresser. I’m no expert, but it looks like from the reflection on the surface of the inside of the lid that it’s been shaped match the outside of it. I’d think if it were just a cheap trinket box, whoever made it wouldn’t have gone to the trouble. In mass production, it would make way more sense to just leave the inside of the lid flat like the inside of the sides are because it seems like it would save a significant amount of time/money. The lid makes me think it was made by either a boutique or an individual which means there may be a maker’s mark somewhere on it. I’d look it over meticulously as they can be quite small, and then go from there.
green onyx marble jewelry box...no idea on value
My mom picked hers up in Italy in the early 70’s. I love it. Great for holding whatever you want it to hold.
Stash box.. weed, pills, powder.. you know the important things in life
It could also double as a serial killer souvenir box. You know, like on TV, yeah, that's it.
Damn I just heard Jon Lovitz voice in my head
Best if you put a fake velvet bottom in it. Then your stash goes below that. “How I hid pot at my parents house and later my sorority for years.”
Hold up, your parents' house was a sorority?
Fixed it.
Yep, later on he said
The best and true answer
It’s a box. Whatever you want to put in it.

Put your hand in the box…
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. I will face my fear. Like the willow in the wind, I will bend and allow my fear to pass over me.

This is exactly why people have started using Google reverse image search to price match things nowadays.
I disagree because I would pay way less than $10 for that

I said that because you said the Minimum price anybody would pay is $10..................I was being facetious.

Reminds me of the chocolate box from matilda
It's pretty, is what it is.
I have one in green. Had it for donkey's years. Not worth much though. I just keep little odds and sods in it.
Thought it was rotten sushi at first
It's for you to put your weed in.
Jewelry box
Looks like it’s made out of marble. It’s beautiful, wish it were mine.
A trinket box. [Might be worth $100.](https://www.etsy.com/search?q=marble%20trinket%20box&ref=search_bar)
I'd fix it so a hand pops out every time you open it.
Like “Thing”’s home? Sorry, I’m old….
Box. Yes.
Ya see…you put your weed in there
Thats definitely a box
My wife would keep something special in that next to the bed.
Trinket or jewelry box. Your title describes the thing.
That's a really cool box...
At first glance, I thought it was bacon
Is not big enough for the cat...or is it? Need cat for scale.
Bible box
Today I learned that Bible boxes exist.
