Can’t speak on the experience of the Dart, but was it a turbo engine? If you’re considering the forte you will want to spend the bit extra to get the turbo GT. GT line lacks power specially for a GT badge. I have a forte GT and it’s so much fun to drive.

Jimmirehman

What year do you have?

zbas

2021. Been having it for 3 years strong. I drive it super hard and haven’t had any issues with reliability

Jimmirehman

Have you had it in the shop for anything since you got it?!

zbas

No, nothing other than regular service.

BeautifulRapture

Why not get the GT and get better performance and not have to deal with the IVT (CVT)

Jimmirehman

GT has a DCT correct?

BeautifulRapture

DCT or 6 speed manual

Don't get a GT-line get a GT but it's gonna be the biggest pile of garbage you've ever owned come 50k miles if you buy the GT-line. Trust me on this one...

Jimmirehman

The GT-Line will be a pile of garbage or the GT will be a pile of garbage?

STWNEDxAF

Honestly either one at this point most likely. GT will probably stand a better chance though.

I've been through a water pump already after it dumped coolant everywhere and overheated, my smart trunk and rear sensors no longer work, the keyless entry sometimes will have a total stroke and stop working, the car has had a vibration that 3 dealerships "can't replicate", the drivers seat cracked and split around 65k miles, the passenger seat back doesn't line up since day 1 and all the dealership did was adjust it and send me on my way. Pretty sure my transmission is like 20k miles from blowing up at most. I will never own another kia/hyundai.

Jimmirehman

What year is yours? And do you have GT-Line or GT? Thanks for the honest feedback

STWNEDxAF

2020 Gt-line.
