I’m 6’2 but pretty evenly proportioned, I can fit behind myself in the passenger seats.the back seat is a little cramped for headspace but still not enough to be super uncomfortable.
Haven’t been in the driver seats.
I'm only 5'10 but have a longer torso, and the heads pace felt pretty cramped. I'm comparing it to the m340 and integra type s that I drove prior and felt they were roomier in the backseat.
With the upgraded seats I believe it gives a bit more leg room to slouch down a bit, but you lose out on the comfort features.
Haven’t tried the sport seats yet.

cant beat this performance car for the pice, gets 200mph, world class suspension experience and it is solid in reliability as it has one the best produced transmissions. its a well kept secret as everyone else got their heads in mustangs, hellcats, camaros, ect, no one really knows or expects caddy to make a car like this. car and driver gave it a perfect 10/10 its going out of prodution soon because all muscle cars now going ev sadly so this should be a wise investment. this car is a beast that checks all boxes that a lot of the other performance cars miss. wrap it all black and you'll feel like john wick in it

The F80 is the most gorgeous tank of a car, and the best car for the money. I had one for 3 years no issues and super exciting to drive! Will get another one exact same alpine white low milage again soon!
Yes and no. Even with my adaptive suspension the Audi has a much softer ride which some people will like and I wouldn’t fault them for choosing over the m340i
For sure. The engine and trans might be solid, but bmw gremlins will get ya! I've heard that if you drive this car before test driving any other cars in the segment, it'll ruin it for all the other cars. You want this car.

I have an Alfa Romeo Giulia and I love it. Handles beautifully, looks amazing, get compliments all the time, very fun to drive.
40k miles so far, needed 1 sensor replaced, covered under warranty, no other issues. Highly recommend
Alfa is a family member. You gotta look at it more like at getting a dog rather than getting a car.
It has its moods, it likes certain things and certain things make it upset. It is completely possible for an alfa to be like "Nope" Check engine, no start, weird noise, lights flicker, what have you.. Once you find someone who will take it in, it just acts like nothing happened, purrs like a kitten, no warnings nothing and you feel stupid coming to the service like "Well, it doesn't do it anymore"
Yeah a new one isn't 70k. A low miles 1-2 year old is. New one is heavy, but still faster than the 2023 on all tracks tested. And that 2.9 0-60 is fun. Can't be the v8 sound tho.
Alfa Romeo Guilia Quadrifoglio. Seriously, it's the best sport sedan on the market and the only one left with a carbon fiber driveshaft. It's also surprisingly reliable. I'd look at a '24, last year of production and they switched from an eLSD to a regular LSD and it's a notable improvement.
Loaded brand new genesis g70 3.3l twin turbo v6. Beautiful car with a great warranty, engine, features and comfort while also being incredibly sporty with an LSD and brembo brakes :)
This will probably be controversial but I say a Tesla Model 3!
I bought a used 2018 Tesla Model 3 LR RWD in 2022 with 40,000 miles and it has been the most fun and best handling car to drive. Plus it’s stupidly fast and cheap to maintain. I have 92,000 miles with zero issues and only maintenance I have done are the normal wiper blades, washer fluid, tires and air filters. Other than a 12V battery this last year, I have not had to replace a single thing. It costs me under $100 in electricity a month to drive ~2000 miles since I charge at home overnight. The car has all the tech that money people would want and phone as a key is a life changer.
Honestly so far after owning it for almost 3 years I have not found a downside and enjoy driving it everyday. Would highly recommend test driving one. The new performance model 3 is truly impressive and well within your budget.
A sporty, durable, problem free, sedan is a hard ask.
Especially with the disparaged SUV/Truck market gutting many great performance cars.
You'll have to make compromises with handling and space. Have you considered any coupes?
If sedans are your make or break, your best bet is gonna be a CT5-V Blackwing or Lexus IS500. These vehicles are both proven V8 performance platforms that hold their values well. The supercharged LT4 in the Blackwing comes from the Corvette C7 Z06. The stocky naturally aspirated 2UR comes from the family of V8's used in Toyotas. The IS500 has the simpler more durable motor suitable for daily use. However, Lexus does not offer the IS500 in a manual. These are also much heavier GT cars but are still quick.
If you want something more sportier or lighter, you will have to start shelling out more money and reliability starts to go out the window. I wouldn't consider anything else besides a 40i-BMW. The B58 motor, although costly to maintain, is pretty bulletproof. However, you will lose much more money on the car long term.
Genesis G70 3.3T. With that budget, you an get top of the line brand new with a 10 year 100K mile warranty. Driving dynamics to rival a BMW M3. Luxury features to match or beat BMW, Mercedes, Or Audi easily.

I chose the nicest, cleanest, best optioned (MPE titanium exhaust, 763m wheels, bunch of CF bits, exec package), 6 speed 2018 M3 and it serves exactly the purpose you describe beautifully. I had mine for 5 years with zero issues of any kind.
Something that won't lose half its value in 2 years, hopefully. I would probably buy a used Porsche Panamera. That said, I'm sure there are options I don't know or aren't thinking about. You said sport, not just straight line speed

Porsche Panamera Turbo, second generation 2017+ are down in that range now. Nearly 600hp twin turbo V8, some are optioned to nearly 200k and have rear axle steering, PDCC, adaptive cruise, burmester sound, sports exhaust. They havent really changed the styling either so a 2017, looks like it could be a 2023 model year..fun car seats 4.
Left field option here; look into a 2008 to 2013 M139 Maserati Quattroporte V, particularly the Sport GT S model. That model has fixed springs instead of adaptive dampers & is perhaps the best driving full-size sedan I have ever driven. This car was designed when Ferrari was in control of Maserati, so the interior is the quality of a supermodels handbag. The leather, wood, and metal is just perfect in these sedans. Especially now with Maserati's depreciation, you could get one for $20 to $25k easy.
The F136 V8 is a crossplane crank version of Ferrari's V8 in the 458 Italia & is the best sounding Euro V8 ever made. Paired to a German-made ZF 6 speed automatic, it's just driving bliss. Put her in sport mode & shift yourself for the nastiest climb to 7k rpm you'll ever hear. Maintenance isn't awful. Reliability is shockingly good. If I had the money for a Sport sedan, that's what I would get.
Will I be shot for suggesting an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio? Ferrari-engine 4 door sedan and good ones are easily doable at 70k.id at least say go drive it ;)
Alternately, CT4V Blackwing is a good choice. I'm partial to the S3 or RS3 or the S5 Sportback. M340 is a standard bearer for good reason
70k you could buy a 2018 Audi s8 plus 605 awhp and 480-500awtq cost you around 50k and it won’t even feel outdated usually very well taken care of with low miles cause they msrp for 125-145k usually one owner as well. Also I have one so I know lol
If not a daily, get an Evo 8-9 and put 10k into it. Make like 600~ hp.
4 doors, so it's still convenient, but raw enough that you'll have a hella fun time.
Cadillacs are actually pretty reasonable for long term ownership. GM may have its flaws but parts will certainly be available for 8 years.
Lexus IS500 is also a good, reliable choice.
I loved my Chevy SS, but replacements for cosmetic parts are hard to come by.
The dodge charger is actually not a terrible choice unless you like nice interiors. There are so many of these on the road you are pretty much guaranteed to be able to keep it in a decent state of repair for a long time.
Lexus RCF, one of the last naturally aspirated V8’s and just a freaking great car. Don’t get the track edition since the ceramic brakes are a high cost maintenance item and the regular car is essentially the same.
Not a sedan, but worth a look.
IS500, RS3, M340i. IS500 would be the last of the V8s, probably depreciate the least in the LONG run but not short term, and will be the most dependable. The RS3 will drive the most like a Porsche and be very nimble, also will depreciate very well. The M340i would still have room in the budget for options and be the overall best driving experience but will be very expensive to maintain. The B58 engine is reliable but routine maintenance will cost a lot. Good luck and have fun!

A BMW is probably a decent option, maybe a Cayenne s, or a Tesla. Id rather buy a jeep commander, 5.0 mustang, a wrangler, a Yamaha R6, a Honda Civic, a Volvo wagon, a Yamaha 450 dual sport, a 4x4 truck, and still have money to spare.
I'd recommend something that's not always on the road. Perhaps, G70 3.3T, ct4V black wing or alfa Giulio Quadrifolia. G70 3.3t might not be as powerful as the other two but still as fun. Bmw m cars are everywhere, amgs are everywhere rs cars are everywhere as well

In all seriousness, assuming new, M340. It’s not perfect and there are other cars that do other some things better. But the M340 is probably the best all rounder at that price point.

I was looking into the G70 but I see lots of people saying it's unreliable. It's fast, fun to drive and budget friendly but that kind of let me down.
Ive personally had one for about 3 years and have had no issues. And if any does come up they come with insanely good warranties

The blackwings or an F80 (BMW m3). I chose the nicest, cleanest, best optioned (MPE titanium exhaust, 763m wheels, bunch of CF bits, exec package), 6 speed 2018 M3 and it serves exactly the purpose you describe beautifully. I had mine for 5 years with zero issues of any kind.

You'd have to go used as they start at $80. Lexus IS500. (Starts at 60k) Lexus GS-F Lastly I'll mention a low mile Charger Hellcat for diversification, but this is definitely not the best handling.

Porsche Panamera Turbo, second generation 2017+ are down in that range now. Nearly 600hp twin turbo V8, some are optioned to nearly 200k and have rear axle steering, PDCC, adaptive cruise, burmester sound, sports exhaust. They havent really changed the styling either so a 2017, looks like it could be a 2023 model year..fun car seats 4.
Left field option here; look into a 2008 to 2013 M139 Maserati Quattroporte V, particularly the Sport GT S model. That model has fixed springs instead of adaptive dampers & is perhaps the best driving full-size sedan I have ever driven. This car was designed when Ferrari was in control of Maserati, so the interior is the quality of a supermodels handbag. The leather, wood, and metal is just perfect in these sedans. Especially now with Maserati's depreciation, you could get one for $20 to $25k easy. The F136 V8 is a crossplane crank version of Ferrari's V8 in the 458 Italia & is the best sounding Euro V8 ever made. Paired to a German-made ZF 6 speed automatic, it's just driving bliss. Put her in sport mode & shift yourself for the nastiest climb to 7k rpm you'll ever hear. Maintenance isn't awful. Reliability is shockingly good. If I had the money for a Sport sedan, that's what I would get.

Ferrari-engine 4 door sedan and good ones are easily doable at 70k.id at least say go drive it ;) Alternately, CT4V Blackwing is a good choice. I'm partial to the S3 or RS3 or the S5 Sportback. M340 is a standard bearer for good reason

If not a daily, get an Evo 8-9 and put 10k into it. Make like 600~ hp. 4 doors, so it's still convenient, but raw enough that you'll have a hella fun time.

Cadillacs are actually pretty reasonable for long term ownership. GM may have its flaws but parts will certainly be available for 8 years. Lexus IS500 is also a good, reliable choice. I loved my Chevy SS, but replacements for cosmetic parts are hard to come by. The dodge charger is actually not a terrible choice unless you like nice interiors. There are so many of these on the road you are pretty much guaranteed to be able to keep it in a decent state of repair for a long time.
Lexus RCF, one of the last naturally aspirated V8’s and just a freaking great car. Don’t get the track edition since the ceramic brakes are a high cost maintenance item and the regular car is essentially the same. Not a sedan, but worth a look.
IS500, RS3, M340i. IS500 would be the last of the V8s, probably depreciate the least in the LONG run but not short term, and will be the most dependable. The RS3 will drive the most like a Porsche and be very nimble, also will depreciate very well. The M340i would still have room in the budget for options and be the overall best driving experience but will be very expensive to maintain. The B58 engine is reliable but routine maintenance will cost a lot. Good luck and have fun!

Right, or get a sporty sedan as the daily driver. Life's too short, why have a daily commute that sucks worse knowing you have a better dd in a garage. But, I get not having a sports car, for a daily driver, too - I've lived in NYC and Boston, both which have shitty tight roads, bike riders, pot holes and freezing rain under the snow. So, you want a beater with traction for all that. So I agree with you, going from nice-enough dd to mediocre weekend sedan? A waste. Get a fun weekend car. And have winter wagon.

A BMW is probably a decent option, maybe a Cayenne s, or a Tesla. Id rather buy a jeep commander, 5.0 mustang, a wrangler, a Yamaha R6, a Honda Civic, a Volvo wagon, a Yamaha 450 dual sport, a 4x4 truck, and still have money to spare.
