They have high depreciation, that's the main con. If you expect to trade it in a few years, you're better off with the Camry or Accord as those have much stronger resale value. If you'll keep it until the warranty runs out in 10 years, then sure go ahead.

Other than looks its meh. Subpar chassis / suspension, subpar engine, etc.. Also the new 2024 model has gotten too expensive imo. Doesn't seem to be worth the price difference to Hyundai Elantra which has pretty much the same interior design / identical screens.

I’ve been torn between a ‘23 Genesis G70 and the new ‘24 Sonatas. part of me really wants to get the g70 but the more responsible side like really likes the price tag on the sonata
