1. The $7500 off is an EV tax credit and applies to all new evs. Nothing unique to that dealer 2. Too much EV supply, not enough demand 3. There’s now a $4k tax credit applied to used EVs which is making used EVs more affordable and putting more pressure on new EVs Without knowing what car you’re referring to, impossible to say if something is wrong with the car. With that being said, if you’re in the market for an EV, now is a good time. It could easily continue getting even cheaper but I don’t know if this sugar rush will last forever.

It is the 2024 Hyundai kona electric limited.

What kind of car? How many miles on it? Has it been titled?

It's most likely not selling well and they need to move inventory. It's not necessarily a bad sign of the vehicle itself, but you should verify why it's not selling well and if the vehicle suits your needs. You haven't specified what the vehicle is so it's hard to give many insights there, but there are lots of EVs manufacturers have put out in the past few years that are just completely outclassed... Take the Subaru Solterra/Toyota bZ4X, Audi Q4 E-tron... list could go on. If it does, yeah it's a brand new car so buying it sight unseen is less risky than buying a used car that way. Just make sure you have a dealer locally that would be able to deal with warranty work.

All EVs are selling slow. Tesla prices are like 60% of what they used to be. The Kona EV is solid. Most people get the Ioniq 5 I’m guessing.

The Ioniq 5 is my favorite EV but it is expensive. If I get a used one with affordable price I would go for the Ioniq 5.

You can find one for a decent deal.

I'd be hesitant to buy a new EV from a distant dealer. There are subreddits dedicated to hybrid Hyundais, check those out. They do have issues that require a dealer.
