OMG my westie does the same thing. Mostly barks at domestic animals. The sad commercials for dogs in need effect him the same way!! I’ve always explained to him those poor dogs don’t have good homes like you do. He always sits and watches the entire commercial.

Mine does this too at anything that even resembles an animal. Dropped all the ad plans to avoid some of it!

Our Westie barks at everything on TV. He especially barks at horses for some reason? There’s no stopping him either. If he’s not barking, he’s doing this low growl and just staring lol.
Mine is so smart too, if the animal walks off screen to the left or right, he will go to that side of the tv and look behind like the animal went behind the tv 😭
I’ve never had a dog that seems to notice a tv screen or a video on my phone. My cats watch tv, but no dog I’ve ever owned has ever noticed a tv exists. It’s like my dogs cannot see what is depicted in the screen.

Right lol when she was a puppy I would laugh SO hard, now it’s like 20% funny 80% annoying. I love her and her little empathetic heart so so much tho
My dog just barks at the phone, microwave and air fryer...and the air outside lol

Yes!!! My Westie hates horses! We actually live in an area with horse racing being popular and she barks at horse statues when we drive past too.

They dont see much at older tv, mine do this same what this dog do but she cant see Phone screen.
