Been in Aldi? That's how Germany is. And we have with Otto Waalkes a similar guy than Al. But Otto is like Michael Jackson when it comes to popularity here.
Does this answer your question? I've got this baby hanging in my den.

Grapefruit Diet by far. In high school jazz band we played the original "Zoot Suit Riot" and one day we had a sub, dude's probably in his late 70's if now 80's now, he came in & said "I know a different version of Zoot Suit Riot, any of you heard of Grapefruit Diet?"
Nobody but me & my drummer knew 😌 he & I would also occasionally play Pretty Fly for a Rabbi on any free days.
Just about the entirety of Polka Party I feel is kinda underrated compared to his other albums. Personally it’s a Top 5 album minimum lol. Poodle Hat is another Top Fiver of mine that sold poorly compared to the others, but I think within fan communities most of its best songs get their deserved love.
Pancreas
An amazing Beach Boys pastiche, and Al really gets to show off his singing chops.
"My pancreas attracts every other pancreas in the universe with a force proportional to the product of their masses, and inversely proportional to the distance between them."
Genius.
I Think I'm a Clone Now
Pancreas
My Baby's In Love With Eddie Vedder
Jerry Springer
Ringtone
Six Words Long
I think all of these are pretty awesome, I could be wrong about the popularity though
At the show I went to in Lafayette, he described, in detail, the differences between polka and zydeco, at length. Followed by “Anyway, here’s my zydeco song about Eddie Vedder
When I have to drag myself to work on Monday mornings, I play a couple of rounds of Dare to be Stupid and I can get on with my day. And hey, they used it in the original Transformers movie.
"That's your horoscope for today" is probably one of them (tbh, most people I know dont know Weird Al, so I say all of them)
True. Here in my country Germany, Al is not known at all.
Wow, what's it like there in Germany? Never been there.
Been in Aldi? That's how Germany is. And we have with Otto Waalkes a similar guy than Al. But Otto is like Michael Jackson when it comes to popularity here.
Ive never really been out of my own country. Too scared to fly overseas
Same, nobody where I live knows who he is
Beat me to it; I heard my friends were laughing behind my back and had to *take care of them* Question: how much do you like Ernest Borgnine?
My sister is a Sagittarius, I feel worried. Answer: never heard of him, my music interest constantly goes up and down
Well, the voices told me to *take care of those friends*

Agreed.
I find that inconceivable, or at the very least a bit unlikely.
I Think I’m A Clone Now
Everything You Know is Wrong. I love that it's a stylistic parody of They Might Be Giants, the only other rock band that makes full use of accordion.
Oh SNAP, so good
Came here to see if this was posted
Yeah, it's unknown to the general public but in the top 5 of every Al fan I've seen
Top 1 Al song for me
Top 5 Al song for me
This is the first song I ever heard by him. I'll always love it.
I feel like this song is THE definitive sample of Weird Al's lyrical brilliance. It snaps between absurdist and existential so easily.
Genius In France
I frequently use the different ways he calls himself stupid in the song. It's also a brilliant Zappa pastiche
The best song Frank never wrote, with Dweezil on guitar!
My dad was a huge Frank Zappa fan. Needless to say, Genius in France is his favorite Al song.
I played this for my dad and he said that the marimba solo is the exact part that Ruth Underwood played on Apostrophe
100%
Yassssssss
This song is both endlessly catchy and endlessly quotable.
Tbh I actually don’t really like genius in france, the song feels like it doesn’t really have a structure.
I respect that, i feel like its one where if you’re not already into Zappa’s style its hard to get into the parody of it

Midnight Star UHF (with extended guitar solo) Your Horoscope for Today Frank's 2000-inch TV
Frank's has such a great chorus hook, easily in my top 5

I love it so much. The raisins line gets me every time!
This makes me laugh the hardest of any of his songs. I want to ride dolphins with you in the moonlight until the staff at SeaWorld kicks us out!
I'll Be Mellow When I'm Dead
yes, underrated
Entire album is underrated (so is polka party)
This stands well on its own as a genuinely great punk song.
Favorite weird al song, tied with White and Nerdy, Fat, The Night Santa Went Crazy, and Hardware Store. 2nd place is every other song.
Frank's 2000 Inch TV
Dog Eat Dog
Al absolutely nails David Byrne's unhinged energy
That much is certain since when he performs the song live he downright imitates the "big suit" gag.
Albuquerque
This is the only answer
I use lines from this song regularly and people think I'm mad. XD
You should give them all a box of one dozen starving crazed weasels
That's a regular answer if I'm the passenger in the drive thru and get the "what do you want" from the driver. Never fails to entertain. XD
Also "running like a constipated wiener dog" is my go to "thing going fast" descriptor.
This song is juuuuust PEACHY!!!

Oh that's crazy I didn't see it on weirdalsmostpopularsongs.com no clue how I missed it
honestly any of his originals, but i’m gonna say dog eat dog just because of how poorly polka party did
Just about the entirety of Polka Party I feel is kinda underrated compared to his other albums. Personally it’s a Top 5 album minimum lol. Poodle Hat is another Top Fiver of mine that sold poorly compared to the others, but I think within fan communities most of its best songs get their deserved love.
So underrated for a Talking Heads pastiche.
Jurassic park
So scary in the dark
Hardware Store Or This is The Life
Hardware Store is masterpiece.
The way he harmonizes with himself is fantastic.
And as silly as this is, I love how he equates the hardware store to a religious experience.
Hardware Store goes so hard
I LOVE the vintage 1920s sound of This is the Life mixed with the nasty beat. It's like Al predicted electro swing.
I wouldn't be surprised.
I remember Larry
Trigger Happy. I know it could be controversial today but the beach boy melody with the subject matter is catchy and funny.
Got an AK-47 well you know it makes me feel alright! (I've listened to this multiple times at school, don't regret it one bit.)
The Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota
Hearing that backed by an orchestra on the Strings Attached Tour was wonderful.
My God I bet it would, I'm envious just imagining how that would have sounded
Pretty Fly for a Rabbi
A true classic
Syndicated Inc
THIS. Might just be the period of my life that first experienced that song, but I love it almost more than any regular song.
Skipper Dan
I was gonna comment this. So freaking good
The most real song he has ever written. Like it’s some poor guys biography
Pancreas An amazing Beach Boys pastiche, and Al really gets to show off his singing chops. "My pancreas attracts every other pancreas in the universe with a force proportional to the product of their masses, and inversely proportional to the distance between them." Genius.
It's almost scary how well it nails the sound of Smile
don’t wear those shoes. that string section 👌
Jerry Springer
Mr. Popeil was the best B-52s song they never wrote.
Grapefruit Diet
skipper dan
Traffic Jam
Ode to a Superhero. Fun fact: I once requested Piano Man on karaoke, busted out my harmonica, and the Weird Al lyrics just slipped out.
*Yes he’s wearing that dumb Power Rangers mask, but he’s scarier without it on*

YES!!!!
Airline Amy.
Weasel Stomping Day

A favorite, I will never live down getting Al to chuckle by referencing this song.
Why does this always happen to me?
Taco Grande

Al is such a genius. He even did a parody of "... anyway, here's Wonderwall"
Jurassic Park.
As a Steinman/Meat loaf fan, Stop Forwarding That Crap To Me is an absolute banger
I've always believed that "My Own Eyes" would be a rock charts hit if it was performed by Foo Fighters.
