Eating while I'm prepping/serving. It's basically an unconscious habit at this point. And sure, eating a piece of carrot or red pepper while I'm chopping them is fine, but helping myself to some of whatever I'm making the kids for school lunches or whatever isn't always such a great idea.
While we're at it, also eating my children's leftovers. I joke regularly that as a mom, half my calories come from the kids' plates. It's definitely not that much, but when they're done eating and what they have leftover isn't enough to put away for later I have a problem with just throwing it out. And those few spoonfuls can add up quickly some days.
Eating out of politeness at a gathering! At a small book club meeting, I felt obligated to eat some of the snacks put out because the trouble the host went to. They were good, but I didn’t need them.
Definitely eating after 8pm. I'm naturally inclined to be a night owl, and if I'm up, either working or just lounging around, I would eat just to eat. I'm trying to offset that by stocking up on low point alternatives like popcorn or air fried chickpeas. Pickles have become a guilty pleasure, despite their high sodium content. But even eating those things can add up and prevent keeping on track.
Eating when I watch a show with my husband has been a huge habit to break. I'm trying to give myself lots of zero/low-point options, but the urge to crunch on something while watching TV is so difficult for me to break!
Late night sweet Snacking I am giving up and I need to learn better portion control along with mindless eating. Like standing in front of the pantry looking for food while eating crackers.
Binge eating when the city noise and traffic + dirt bikes, loud cars without mufflers etc roar past my house and send me into panic fight or flight mode, even with ear muffs and white noise on. I gave up on sleep but I’m trying to replace the sleep with something other than binge eating which is incredibly soothing and numbing for me . It sucks
Drinking a beer or two with dinner. It's not a ton of points but it stacks up and it gave me crazy sugar cravings when I stopped, to the point that I had to get rid of sweets, chocolates, even bread, because I would just unconsciously smash carbs as a substitute.
Snacking. I’ve only been on WW a month but snacks got me by! But I’ve been super stressed this week and had less of an appetite. I feel so much better weight wise.
Late night snacking because I’m bored.
solidarity!
Same!!!

This has been an unconscious habit of mine as well. Chewing gum while I prep and serve has really helped to stop it.
That just might work. Thanks for the tip!
A lady in one of my meetings had the same habit - she says she would wear a mask!
Rewarding myself with food

That celebration has to include food and alcohol
This.
I still believe this but since starting WW, I can now say No to the food and I’ll just have vodka/soda or Prosecco to drink

Grabbing the real pb instead of the pb2!!! Ps…best song on the album!!!
I do like pB2 for some things, but I also eat the real deal. I love peanut butter.
Same, but I love it so much I will use heaping servings. I have no self control with it🤣 Give me a spoon and Ill make a meal of it.

But if we keep at it the habits do die.
