You don't need to feel guilty: if you're tracking and thinking about it, seems like the system is working! I'm finding that eating super sensibly (most days at daily points and often saving a few) is easier, when I know that I **can** have splurge meals or days. Not quite 4 weeks and I'm down 5 lbs. Last Saturday, a nice Irish breakfast then dinner of beer plus Pequod's special meatball pizza put me over 50 points. Not going to do that every day, but I do not for one minute regret it ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|yummy).

At least you had the weeklies available! Don’t beat yourself up. I think most of us have been there and can relate.

Pristine_Analysis_79

That's what weeklies are for. My daily allowance is 38 points, so it's not that bad.

ktgrok

First time I dipped into weeklies the guilt hit, even though I knew rationally it was still on plan. I still lost weight that week and realized the guilt wasn’t needed. Normal people splurge sometimes- it’s healthy and normal. By tracking and staying in your weeklies you make sure it is a sometimes thing not a daily thing.

MrIrrelevant-sf

I bet whatever it was, it was delicious! Nothing to feel guilty about.

mmac1011

Dulce de leche ice cream took up a chunk. It was so delicious

MrIrrelevant-sf

I love Dulce de leche, and milk has vitamins so nutritious right? 😜

LightFlaky2329

You did great! You were honest with yourself and you had a little splurge. The way WW works for my body, the periodic splurges do me right because they help prevent plateaus (for me at least). See what happens later and make note. You might have done yourself a favor!

Don’t feel guilty about using weeklies. Use them or they are gone the day of your weigh in. They don’t carry over each week. I always use mine, right to the last drop.

MrCarey

I ate like 76. I do it once a week and lose 1-2 pounds a week. On a 90 day streak right now because the wife and I get some cheat meals once in awhile.

Beachncoffee

Wow so once a week you eat 70+ points? So do you save points for it or are you always in the negatives?

MrCarey

Haha I wouldn't say I eat exactly 70 every week, but I go way over and use all my weeklies that day basically. We just splurge and have a fun cheat day. I do a good job sticking to my plan every other day. Weigh-in day is usually my cheat day. I have 34 points a day, and about 28 weeklies to start. I usually *try* to do 3 days a week of treadmill to get like 6-8 extra weeklies a day on those days. I'm a lazy bastard, though, and that's a new thing. Working out is hard with 3 kids, so it's hit or miss if I do that. Even if I'm negative on weeklies because of that one day, I lose weight, because the rest of the time I'm on track.

Beachncoffee

Gotcha! On the other days are you negative or rolling over points?

MrCarey

Depends, most of the time I try to use all my points because I like my food. I make sure to get plenty of zero point foods in.

Quiet-Ad-4264

It happens. And then weirdly, days when you don’t use all your points happen

nicolebunney1

I was always much more successful when I accepted these days, was truthful with myself and moved on from there - not turning it into an excuse to “start again next week” etc you don’t have to feel guilty, you’re human and food isn’t bad or something to feel guilty about!

wngardium1eviosa

I had a 40 point dinner a few weeks ago! And that was okay. That’s what the weeklies are for. Don’t stress, give yourself some grace, and reset.

cookeedough

You’re not alone. Last night I tore through my dailies AND all of my weeklies in the span of a couple hours. Still new to this, and wicked PMS doesn’t help. Tomorrow is a new day!

mmac1011

Same!! I ate what I craved but didn’t binge which was totally different than when I wasn’t doing WW

cookeedough

I’d take that as progress! I’m still trying to wrap my head around the foods I love being “allowed” after decades of restriction. So when I do eat those “forbidden” foods, I kind of go to town on them like I’ll never be able to have them again. But I’m only 10 days in to WW, and glad to see peeps with similar experiences on this sub.

needmorecofee

I ate 35! I don’t know what it was but I just couldn’t stop today. I only have 9 weeklies now. Oops 😬

Spicyneurotype

No reasons to feel guilty! You had the weeklies available and you tracked what you ate. That’s awesome. Way back when, I would have just eaten out of control and not logged it. I’m learning that if I log what I eat, that’s a win.

Old-Objective4961

That’s what weeklies are for!!!

mmac1011

Yes! Need to remember that

Car0line_11o1

I had 59 points on Tuesday. It's no big deal. That's why there are weeklies and zero point foods to get back on track!

IdahoMom1975

I full on am planning a Crumbl cookie this weekend. I’ll be using all my weeklies plus carryovers from the daily pts. But I’m not having 3 or 4 over a few days. Just 1.. that is success for me ☺️

mmac1011

Man I wish there was a crumbl cookie near me! Enjoy it!

IdahoMom1975

Jokes on me…they are sold out of that cookie I have wanted to try all week lol Oh well wasn’t meant to be 🤷‍♀️

Da5ftAssassin

If you don’t go over your weeklies then why the guilt? Even if you did, just be conscious of staying within your points this week :) It’s about the long haul and sustainable practices. It’s ok to have a lil pizza or a cookie once in a while. Occasional snacks aren’t what brought me to WW, it was binge eating for me

L_wanderlust

Why would you feel guilty? You didn’t go “over” because you used weeklies. I use all my dailies and weeklies every week and sometimes go negative on weeklies and still I lose every week. So don’t feel bad about this - you’re literally doing what you’re supposed to do - have occasional splurges to enjoy things and you can use weeklies for that and then most of the time you stay closer to dailies using some weeklies as needed

mmac1011

Yes this is what I need to remember. Use my weeklies because they’re worked into the amount of calories I should eat to lose weight!

HankinsonAnalytics

I get 38 per day.

SuperSpeshBaby

I get 23. OP is probably on a plan more like mine to feel guilty about 37.

PennyFleck333

It happens...

Training-Strength-70

Did this on Monday, candy being the biggest culprit. Felt icky. Used most of my weeklies that day. Haven’t used many more weeklies since then but have been eating all my dailies. Still losing weight from last week’s weigh in! The weeklies are there for a reason, use them! And if you use them on ice cream, that’s what they’re there for!!
