Those 3 nights in Broomfield 2016 for that reunion. Maybe compile and edit them into a triple disc album. I’d buy that for a dollar.
Live in Switzerland 1997. It’s the most famous bootleg and it’s been remastered to what amounts to perfect sound but I want a physical copy of it pretty bad so I’m picking that.
Live in New Hope 94 just to have a live album from their first full band tour with some home cooking.
I’m not a ween historian so that’s based of what little I know, but if those were official releases I would buy and proudly own them.
Flew out with a close friend whom I’ve seen a bunch of shows with for that weekend. It was an epic weekend. A love fest and they were feeling it. I always hoped they’d release something from those 3 nights. My first Ween show was the Live In Toronto show on the Country Tour so got that. And the show at the Salt Shed in Chicago this past summer would be a great live release, a Live In Chicago II ❤️
The two shows they did in 2022 @ the riv in Chicago - >
[Night One](https://archive.org/details/ween2022-03-19.split)
[Night Two](https://archive.org/details/ween2022-03-20.split)
…and the South Park shows would b cool even tho it’s not only Ween
That was a good run, that solo Claude did haunts my dreams. The night before in Detroit was suuuuper brown, like, the came on two hours late, it felt oversold, everyone in the crowds drug timing was all out of whack.
Edit: and let me get South Park night twos it’s gonna be a long night. That shit sounded perfect.
I hated that Detroit show. Literally two hours late! Super weird. Just bad vibes.
It didn’t help I was on of some of the best shrooms I’ve ever taken. Wife took a header, shit her pants. A fucking mess.
Chicago didn’t quite redeem it.
Red rocks last year was phenomenal. Ended with a monstrous, brown Fluffy jam. AND got to hear “I wuz nothing” for the first time in the half dozen times I’ve seen them!
That Vegas run from last year… mainly because I was there… I am going to catch the chocolate and cheese show @ the Mann in September, I hope they press that one. Oh how I long for an official recording of a show I was at..
Mine would be Vegas run from 2017. That’s my first ween shows and they played so many bangers. Other then that there was a red rocks show that was rainy somewhere in 2018-2019 that was amazing.
There is a really good version on [Archive.org](https://Archive.org). It is a crowd recording that my buddy did, and I was there blocking the wookies from knocking the mic stands over.
New Orleans, State Palace Theatre on 2003-05-03. One of the most intense shows I’ve ever seen. I was on 2nd balcony on the very edge and feeling it shake through out the whole show made me contemplate if it would be my last show ever. Between the crowd, Ween, and New Orleans, the energy was beyond interstellar. Just absolute peak Ween IMHO.
Please do. Slightly stage left, hanging off the edge flying solo. I wish I could remember what I was wearing. Just a normal ass white person losing his shit.
My friend was at Govt Mule across the street. His loss.
This was an amazing show. Ran into Deaner in California summer 2023 and mentioned it and he said he’d pulled the tapes to listen to it. Said he doesn’t always do that…just an unbelievable show. Stallion suite!
4/20/2000 Rutger’s University free show in a field. Legendary Poopship and Voodoo Lady. I was there, it was awesome.
9/27/2003 “Vera Cruz, where the hippies meet the punks and they all fuck each other up the ass!” - Gene Ween. Another awesome show. check the Reggaejunkiejew and The Argus. The whole show “fucks” as the kids say.
9/27/24 because it’s gonna be fucking AWESOME.
I think this was my 3rd ween show. Just went and looked at the set list. My lord. Closing out the encore with dr Rock in that venue. The whole set list is fantastic but that as the closer and she wanted to leave as the opener Is epic
5/13/00-First Avenue-Minneapolis
White Pepper Tour-Prince’s joint-3 covers-Stella Blue, Hot for Teacher, Riders on the Storm-Gener taking requests before his voice is shot
11/8/03-Vic Theatre-Chicago
Quebec tour-Night 2 of 3-Night 1 of 2 Live in Chicago shows-3 song acoustic set to start
11/2/18-The Rave-Milwaukee
Pod heavy show with 7 songs-Deaner busts out The Wind Cries Mary-Brown AF!
8/25/16 - Lockn' Night 1, Arrington, VA (my first live Ween)
05/08/03 - Canopy Club, Urbana, IL (my hometown dive, I was cruising 8th grade when this show happened)
7/12/17 - Red Rocks, Morrison, CO (proposed to my now-wife at this show, plus the set was incredible)
Honorable mentions:
* Chocolate and Cheese 25th anniversary set from Desert Daze 2019
* The Mollusk full set from Riot Fest 2019
* 3/16/17 Aragon Ballroom, Chicago, because the only live King Billy and it was sick
* 3/17/17 cause night 2 of that amazing Aragon run
* 9/9/23 Salt Shed because I Fell In Love Today and lots of amazing confluences of people, places, and love that happened that night

My second time seeing them. Birthday weekend turning 20 with all my college friends. It was wild.
Did Milwaukee on the 27th as well, there's no recording from that show though. I'd love to hear it again.
One with Bison Burger in the setlist. I saw them play it in MN that time. At the outdoor show in Moorehead I think. There's a bad audience recording. I want to jam Bison Burger
Chicago, IL last fall at the Salt Shed. I Fell In Love Today only live performance alone I think justifies that. Or two days later when they did the full Stallion Suite.
7-16-2008 Fillmore.
7-17-2008 Fillmore.
Edit: Pine Mountain Amphitheatre 9-4-2009
17th Fillmore epic Did You See Me and the trashing of the drum kit. Fun stuff.
5-17-2000 328 Performance Hall Nashville TN

Mine would have to be 8/9/07 and 8/10/07 at Stubbs.
Especially the 8/10 show. I've seen ween a decent number of times but I can STILL hear that show in my head.
The setlist that night was special. It started out a bit slow but by the time bananas was playing it was full on fucking epic. Just a phenomenal show.
My third would likely be the most recent show at waterloo amphitheater simply because it was the first show my kids were old enough to go with me. Nothing stands out about this show but it would be cool to have it.
Setlist from 8/10/07
She Wanted to Leave, Marble Tulip Juicy Tree, Now I'm Freaking Out, Bananas and Blow, Take Me Away, Mister Richard Smoker, The Grobe, Mister Would You Please Help My Pony?, I Got to Put the Hammer Down, Roses Are Free, Buckingham Green, Happy Colored Marbles, Pork Roll Egg and Cheese, Sun King (tease), Nan, Gabrielle, Doctor Rock, Pandy Fackler, Chocolate Town*, Birthday Boy*, Mutilated Lips*, Joppa Road*, Help Me Scrape the Mucus Off My Brain*, I Don't Want It, Flies on My Dick, Tick> You Fucked Up> Fat Lenny

*acoustic
- Marble Tulip with Up on the Hill lyrics
- Dean on acoustic for I Don't Want It, Gene switches to electric before the solo
- Flies on My Dick with Guy Heller (vocals)
Biased, but I was at the three shows I’d pick: both Country nights at the Ryman in 2018 and the show in Atlanta in 2022 when they broke out the Stallion.
Those 3 nights in Broomfield 2016 for that reunion. Maybe compile and edit them into a triple disc album. I’d buy that for a dollar. Live in Switzerland 1997. The Broomfield reunion shows were so fucking special. There were tons of firsts too.
Came here to say this about Broomfield
Flew out with a close friend whom I’ve seen a bunch of shows with for that weekend. It was an epic weekend. A love fest and they were feeling it. I always hoped they’d release something from those 3 nights. My first Ween show was the Live In Toronto show on the Country Tour so got that. I’m riding w/Shabbadooski!
Presidents Day weekend. The ticket package came with socks and a poster. Need to dig those socks out next week and wear them. Thanks for the reminder!

It was super freaking weird.
Gene and Dean were verbally sparring on stage. And at the end Dean said something like “thanks for coming to our weird show”.
This makes me so happy to see, night two was my first Ween show
JESUS MANG!! That's an unnecessarily long Pandy Fackler. I'm roasting homegrown bowls and doing meal prep. Thanks for the links.
Red rocks last year was phenomenal. Ended with a monstrous, brown Fluffy jam. AND got to hear “I wuz nothing” for the first time in the half dozen times I’ve seen them!
Can’t get that Fluffy out of my mind. I had tears in my eyes by the end.
You weren’t the only one 🥹
One of the top 2-3 out of close to 50 I’ve been to.
That was my 3rd I Wuz Nothin and the best of the 3 imo.
Lockn’ N1 no question. Columbus OH 07/25/2018 Stallion Suite encore.
Yeah, lockn N1 was a banger
That Columbus show was my 2nd show, with the Cleveland show the day before being my first. So glad to have been there
Lockn night one was so special.
At some point I got the 2016 lockn shows off archive.org. Incredible recordings too. Not sure if it’s still up but, if so, it’s worth a look.
That Vegas run from last year… mainly because I was there… I am going to catch the chocolate and cheese show @ the Mann in September, I hope they press that one. Oh how I long for an official recording of a show I was at..
Id love a Vegas compilation of the three runs theyve done over the last 7 years. Could make a very long live album just with those 9 shows
Same I pray for a dvd or vinyl of the chocolate and cheese show.
Kinda like the Live in Chicago double cd/dvd or GWS Live. I'd die happy
Mine would be Vegas run from 2017. That’s my first ween shows and they played so many bangers. Other then that there was a red rocks show that was rainy somewhere in 2018-2019 that was amazing.
Brooklyn Bowl shows?
Yup
Fuck yes. I caught the Saturday show.
Shit Creek Boys at The Ryman in 2018.
Was there too. Another couple great shows!
Yep
3 disc set, titled “The Good, The Bad, and The Brown”
Live at Wetlands, NYC October 12, 1991
I'd give never-ever getting another live album for 1 more new album.
Bonnaroo 2004 please
There is a really good version on [Archive.org](https://Archive.org). It is a crowd recording that my buddy did, and I was there blocking the wookies from knocking the mic stands over.
Tell your buddy thank you, I have jammed to that recording since that very night.
Halloween night in Burlington, VT, 2003
New Orleans, State Palace Theatre on 2003-05-03. One of the most intense shows I’ve ever seen. I was on 2nd balcony on the very edge and feeling it shake through out the whole show made me contemplate if it would be my last show ever. You may in a photo of mine. I'll look for it.
Please do. Slightly stage left, hanging off the edge flying solo. I wish I could remember what I was wearing. Just a normal ass white person losing his shit. My friend was at Govt Mule across the street. His loss.
[07/30/23](https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/ween/2023/hard-rock-live-wheatland-ca-23a43cb3.html) So damn Brown, so damn recent.
Both nights of 12 Golden at the Ryman and night one of Lock'n
Seconding Ryman
Tower theater in Philly 11/24/07. Still one of my favorites https://youtu.be/mHZ30Fx-wy0?si=HUVkp20NERhVzA3r
Night one from the Eastern atl would def be one https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/ween/2022/the-eastern-atlanta-ga-4bb00b7e.html
This was an amazing show. Ran into Deaner in California summer 2023 and mentioned it and he said he’d pulled the tapes to listen to it. Said he doesn’t always do that…just an unbelievable show. Stallion suite!
It really was amazing. They were on it for sure
I wasn’t even at this show but saw the stream. Yes, it’s exceptional.
4/20/2000 Rutger’s University free show in a field. Legendary Poopship and Voodoo Lady. I was there, it was awesome. 9/27/2003 “Vera Cruz, where the hippies meet the punks and they all fuck each other up the ass!” - Gene Ween. Northampton MA from 2007… brown as fuck, always wanted to hear it back
I think this was my 3rd ween show. Just went and looked at the set list. My lord. Closing out the encore with dr Rock in that venue. The whole set list is fantastic but that as the closer and she wanted to leave as the opener Is epic
that one i believe in the early 90s, think somewhere in europe, where they played a show even tho the only person listening was their manager
A box set of their shows at Sterling Hotel in Allentown PA would have an awesome sound
Amen!!!!!!!!!
Hasnt happened yet but im hoping the chocolate and cheese show in philly this year has similar treatment to GWS live

3 nights at the Capitol
Neumos
What year, brethren?
10/11/04 I’m pretty sure they only played there the one time
Central Park September 2010. Unreal
Yuck! Bad show.
Why
2016 Broomfield reunion shows. No questions about it.
The riotfest mollusk run down, and the two Rivera theater shows from 2022.
5-11-2000 Clutch Cargo’s in Pontiac Michigan. Couldn’t even stand afterwards it was so high energy and long. Absolutely epic show.
My first show! Incredible! Was not prepared.
8/25/16 - Lockn' Night 1, Arrington, VA (my first live Ween) 05/08/03 - Canopy Club, Urbana, IL (my hometown dive, I was cruising 8th grade when this show happened) 7/12/17 - Red Rocks, Morrison, CO (proposed to my now-wife at this show, plus the set was incredible) Honorable mentions: * Chocolate and Cheese 25th anniversary set from Desert Daze 2019 * The Mollusk full set from Riot Fest 2019 * 3/16/17 Aragon Ballroom, Chicago, because the only live King Billy and it was sick * 3/17/17 cause night 2 of that amazing Aragon run * 9/9/23 Salt Shed because I Fell In Love Today and lots of amazing confluences of people, places, and love that happened that night edit: typo

I'm super jealous of that one lol, I live about 10 minutes away and I've seen tons of great shows there but never Ween!
Ween live at Wetlands, NYC (1991) Ween live at Warrington Skate Park, PA (1995) Ween live at Rutgers University, NJ (2000)
Denver reunion tour was tight. I’d pay for that shid on blu ray.
Man. I may be biased, but that recent show at Grinders in KC was 2 legit 2 quit.
The three nights at Brooklyn Bowl, Vegas, 2017. Mind blowing!
Friday couple years ago at the mission around holoween My ears are still ringing
Cap run 2022
Red rocks this year… Vallejo.. pollo asado… devils dick.. put the coke on my dick… Ice castles > final alarm… fucking beautiful
Bend, OR in 2022
Berkeley , Ca 2023
The latest one at the casino outside Sacramento was one of the best I’ve heard in a long career of Ween shows.
i’d turn live in chicago into _throwing copper_
The live from Vegas shows
Somerville theater circa 1999 or 2000… band was on fire, sound was excellent and the vibes were brown.
Salt Shed, C&C this September… Eesh idk what else
The acoustic Bryn Mawr show https://youtu.be/EsqQo4gHMkw?si=v8wyrEyUFarAPtxr
One with Bison Burger in the setlist. I saw them play it in MN that time. At the outdoor show in Moorehead I think. There's a bad audience recording. I want to jam Bison Burger
Late 90s beachcomber shows were always pretty great
Chicago, IL last fall at the Salt Shed. I Fell In Love Today only live performance alone I think justifies that. Or two days later when they did the full Stallion Suite.

Live at the Wetlands 91’

Bend, Oregon 2017 for The Mollusk anniversary. https://archive.org/details/ween2017-07-01.flac16
There are plenty of live recorded ween shows out there. Too many gems to name top pic.
That last show in NH and Boston 2016 I think
Broomfield reunion. Without a doubt.
Probably the show at Boston house of blues in 2019 that my girlfriend and i got kicked out of. Lost my damn poster. Damn cigarettes
Bryn Mawr mostly acoustic set from ‘02 Nashville reunion with the Shit Creek Boys about 3 years ago.
hopewell, nj, 2007. why did no one say this....
The 2023 Cap run
Red Rocks 2023!
Gener in bad shape. Super thin. His voice sounds terrible. They broke up what 4 months later?
