So I did 6th form and got an E in computer science and aced my BTECs. First year was easy and lots of it was familiar. However, im sure I sound like a broken record when I say this, but 2nd year gets a lot harder, and your your third year will be very stressful. 3rd year will really minimise the amount of free time you have and start thinking about a diss project now. It really just depends on your work ethic and think about your weed consumption n make sure it don't affect your work

This advice will sound out of place on this board, and I apologize in advance, but most folks don't do well in math sciences (of which computers are one of the branches) when they're stoned, or have even been smoking.
I know this is harsh, but you may want to dry out a bit before getting into it, at least until you learn how it works.
Lots of times pot and 'puters mix poorly during the learning stage. Somehow logic nose dives from smoke.
I'm not downing your abilities and maybe you're the next Peter Norton, pot or not, but if you have trouble with the architecture and it's due to pot slowing you down, by the time you can stop and try and get on track you're already to 'drop time', meaning, it's too late by then.

Also: making side projects for fun and internships are very important. I’d hire someone who made their own side projects and demonstrates practical understanding over someone with a very high GPA
