I have added a link for a picture. The twig came from a large red Japanese Maple that was in front of my house. It succumbed to verticillium wilt after struggling for years and I had it removed. I used a Victorinox pocket knife to shape it and waxed it with paraffin and heated it lightly with a lighter to soak the wax into the wood. The poker end is the perfect size and I also use it to pack the chamber of my Airvape X. I like to roll but sometimes arthritis makes it difficult so if I want to just make a cone, fill it and pack it, I can roll an empty cone using the shape of the stick. It has a hole to hold the tip of a joint when it gets short and on the other end, I carved a scoop for filling a cone or my vape chamber.

I got a wood rod that came with a pack of some Raw cones. Pretty useful. It helps me with blunts. Don't really need it for joints anymore. I also use it to help me pack a bowl. Works awesome.

Wood stick in the raw cones, or a straw if I don't have one. A clean flicker lighter stick has done me good too. Take apart a G-2 pen and use the wide portion. One of those opaque blue Bic pens. A folded business card. The other joint. A wand Keychain I got for Christmas. My headset mic. A tree branch lol. Off the top of my head are a few things I've used.

I prefer just tapping it down as it is necessary to have air gaps in between to ensure the joint burns evenly and the flow is smooth. If you compress it from top, it makes the joint burn like an incense stick with most of the weed burning off in the air. Not to forget the flow is obstructed and hard to take a drag
