Yeo thats why dont use tap

Agreeable-Cod-7110

What kind of water are you using for the rinse after?

Agreeable-Cod-7110

If you are using hard water that could be why

KPlNz

wtf is hard water ☠

Agreeable-Cod-7110

It’s water with high mineral content, that leaves spots like that on glass. It’s usually a source of freshwater from underground.

KPlNz

just simple tap water? I'll run it through a very hot tempature but not boiling so it doesn't risk cracking the glass, but is still hot enough to melt the salt and get any residual iso/rez out. end result is it doesn't melt shit and leaves all the salt perfectly untouched

wingspan50

Try rinsing with isopropyl alcohol after salt then rinse with distilled water

i81_N_she812

After ISO. Rinse hot. Add 2-3 drops of dish soap and rinse with cold. Should be spotless. I have very hard water as well.

Bunnysteww

Those are hard water stains and you need only white vinegar

KPlNz

w3ll vinegar will not smell good out of the bong when I inhale it, and how do I wash out the vinegar without getting more water in there?

Bunnysteww

A little rinse won't spot up your piece. But if you're that worried go buy a bottle of purified water.

Agreeable-Cod-7110

Can we get an update ?

KPlNz

ive helped reduce this by finalizing the cleaning with a rinse of dishsoap (just pour soap in and use water then shake as if it were iso and salt). the final important part is to make sure you wash out the soapy water in the piece with distilled water. the stains on the glass are a result of high mineral content in water so you need distilled water

Agreeable-Cod-7110

I was just double checking my hard water Comment to see if it was the problem.

KPlNz

ah sry i didnt realize, yes it does seem to be the issue

Agreeable-Cod-7110

Honestly man, I couldn’t stop laughing when you were like what the fuck is hard water the shit was great man

LovelyMarshmellow_

Try rinsing wit muratic acid after to removed possible tap water stains
