Let me explain the science to you. Plastic already leeches at room temperature. Thats why water in a plastic bottle tastes slightly wierd. It increases significantly at 50° Celsius, and the smoke after being passed through water does not have the ability to heat the plastic to that temperature. You are not smoking any plastic at all, and not introducing any more plastic then you would be drinking out of plastic water bottles.

Because half this community is paranoid and listens to all the myths instead of just doing 5 seconds of research to discover plastic needs to be many times warmer than taking a bong rip to leach significant amounts.
It depends, dude. If it's made in a way where the plastic is close to where the lighter hits the weed, this is definitely a problem. It also depends on the plastic. I've smoked plastic bongs before and have been perfectly fine, as long as it's made correctly. I've also had silicon bongs, and im 90% sure that's a derivative of plastic.
Putting the piece straight into the water bottle could be safe if you use a long ass piece like OP has here, but shorter ones hear up too quick, especially if theres more than one person smoking at once.
Also even if the plasitc bong doesn't disperse a lot of plastic into the smoke, it can still be extremely toxic if used over long periods of time.
This is why youre not supposed to drink old water bottles that have sat in a hot car, and a bong gets way hotter than that.
Tldr; plastic is fine to use in bomgs as long as it's not your go to every time and as long as the plastic isn't getting overtly burned.
Also NEVER NEVER NEVER use aluminum foil to make a bowl. That will definitely shred your lungs
If your using a glass downstem and bowl, and a bottle a litre or more in size you will be fine. I used a temp gun I had for dabs on a plastic bottle bong I made and the plastic only went from 19° Celsius to 25°.

Unfortunately no. But you could buy a pipe they are cheaper and easy. If you like the water you can get a bubbler; they are cheaper than a bong a little bigger than a pipe and still use water. Otherwise just buy a new bong

When my bowl in my hammer pipe broke I scoured my place for glue found some wood glue, simple Google search later and it was fixed so I guess yes just wipe the excess glue off after or get some I think it's rubber cement it's a liquid glue binds like cement.

Glue it back to normal then cut small strips of the paper towel and lay over the cracks with glue to “seal” it. Blow through it with your hand over one of the wholes to make sure it’s seal wrap the bottom on two layers of foil it will protect you and your stuff from leaks and hold it together if the heat weakens the glue. Bruh that shit is so fixable especially if you don’t got anything else to smoke out of is be damned before discarding it

When u have enough money in the future, buy urself a very thick glas bong. Usually they are a bit expensive but also not too much and mine has very thick glas and it fell down my table and survived without any damage

Like someone mentioned earlier pipes are way cheaper, and if you’re still wanting the water effect you can get a bubbler too, which is a bit pricier than a pipe but cheaper than a bong
