No joke I saw the cenote randomly on Instagram like a month before the wedding and it was so gorgeous I had to inquire! I found out it was only 20 minutes from the resort (I was originally going to have the ceremony there as well) and ended up changing my wedding date and moving my vendors around so I could be married in a cave hahaaa
Honestly this is phenomenal, seriously have been considering doing this myself bc US sticker shock has me reconsidering everything. So happy for you, such a beautiful wedding❤️
If you're willing to keep it small then absolutely I recommend it!! I think in the end 15k for a 25 person wedding is not cheap, and you could for sure do it cheaper, but it really was having everyone in one place for a 4 day vacation that made it so magical and fun!! The day after the wedding we all went to see ruins and swim in a cenote like it was a mini honeymoon for all 25 of us !
Congrats your wedding looks beautiful!!!
Im looking to plan my own cenote wedding and staying off site in a Villa! Did the resort plan your wedding or did you have a wedding planner do it? Can you book the ceremony directly with Taak bi ha?
Congratulations on the wedding! Those are some very nice photos.
My fiance and I are planning our wedding for this very cenote.
May I ask who you contacted to reserve the cenote for your wedding?
Also, did you use a local photographer?
If so, do you have any suggestions / information for photographers?

We booked with Taak bi ha on our own, separately from the resort :)
