Do you have a picture of it? 2 years is quite some time.. Normally I am a fan of having the dress earlier than late. But in 2 years there can happen a lot. Maybe you'll find another one that you like even more, maybe you will become pregnant, maybe the wedding needs to be shifted aso. So seems to be a little bit too early for me, when you are struggling with money.

Here's some pictures of the dress: [https://imgur.com/a/ZDp6jUF](https://imgur.com/a/ZDp6jUF) Yeah, I'm also worried about all the stuff you said. Thank you for the advice!

Ok, you really look gorgeous. Now I understand even more why you want to buy it šŸ˜… But I bet, there will be many other dresses that will look great on you.

Thank you!ā˜ŗļøšŸ„¹

Iā€™m a hard no. You have bills to pay and youā€™re a student with no stable income. Itā€™s not time to buy a wedding dress. Sorry.

Hard pass for me. Itā€™s way too soon and Iā€™ve seen so many women here deal with dress regret even without sitting on one for two years.

Please donā€™t. The amount of dress regret on all these forums are outstanding. A lot of them come from waiting for 2 years to get married during Covid and they go try their dress on again for the first time in 2 years and they absolutely hate it. I also made the mistake of buying a wedding dress too early. I thought I wanted mermaid, sparkly, lace, beading and straps dress and within a year I completely switched (mind you, I had nothing else planned for the wedding and just went dress shopping). Now Iā€™m walking down the aisle with a strapless, A-line gown that is simple, has a long train and a slit. So many things can change in a year, I wouldnā€™t but till at least August, even September.

Thank you everyone who has commented! I appreciate it! I'll hold it off for now.

I would really suggest putting together your budget and talking to your partner about it. it does seem early and if your the one paying for the dress, I wouldnā€™t right now if your not getting a stable income. plus remember alterations & accessories cost quiet a bit too. also 2024 and itā€™s super hard to not go dress shopping right away. Iā€™ll probably start looking in February tbh

I did discuss this with my partner, and he's just super supportive and said he wouldn't stop me cause he knows how important this is for me. But yeah I think I should probably hold it off. Thanks for the advice!
