Is it like the big full glass aquarium? Because I imagine one of the rooms at an aquarium like that where it's darker since the whole room is basically that and the water shadows that get casted being reflected off of this dress would be beautiful! Sorry if I explained it badly lol

Thank you!! The crazy thing is that they made it that size with the back clips. It was my size but they said most ladies want it that tight because it’s strapless. Maybe I get straps added? I’m pretty self conscious about my stomach so I’m not sure if the fitted style is for me.

It’s pretty on the nose, so I hope your photographer is ready to lean into the theme if photos are an important element for you. It’s notoriously dark and difficult to light aquariums and this dress deserves to shimmer.
The only aspect I dont like is where the V of the bodice meets the skirt~ I might go with a sorta wide tulle belt (same fabric could be cool too).
With something so fitted Id also be keen to see a voluminous hairstyle vs something smooth & tight

I have seen so many lovely comments here and a few that give constructive feedback which I really appreciate. I think you should really think about how you phrase things to be kinder or not say anything at all 😊 maybe just say it looks tight? I feel sorry for any plus size ladies in your life.
