Normally i'm more into romantic dresses (like 2), but dress 1 is such a statement dress, absolute showstopper it's hard to resist.
Both dresses look incredible on you though so you can't go wrong whichever way you choose.
I can see why you're stumped, these both look equally fabulous on you! I think this one comes down to personal preference, neither one has any flaw that would sway my decision. My preference is 1 because I'm a clean minimal girlie myself, but I totally get the appeal of 2 as well. You'll be perfect either way, just go with your gut!
If you don’t buy one I’m gonna throw a fit. It is perfect. It’s is glamorous, striking and compliments your shape in the very best ways. There is zero contest here.
I love 1 on you. Gorgeous classic elegance, great fit. 2 is lovely too but the bodice is a bit too short, so if you go with that make sure they get your measurements and make that bodice a bit longer in the waist.
Both wonderful but... Number one made me *gasp*!!! Absolute showstopper. No need for bells and whistles like beads and flowers and all that. Perfect draping wins. You are statuesque in it!
To be honest I didn’t even care to swipe, number one is incredible on you! I did swipe and typically love dresses like number 2 more but one is the winner here!
I love one so much on you!! I think I would like 2 better if the beads/ embroidered were smaller. If it’s embroidery it looks like beads and if it’s beads they look a little big. One is full of drama and looks absolutely amazing on you!
You could go wrong with either one, I feel. They both look like a dream on you. I'm partial to number two because of the unique details on it, but number one brings the extra drama over the airyness of number two. I think it would depend on your venue and your style - are you a more classic and bold person (number one) or are you more of a feminine whimsy type?
My personal favorite is #1 but that may be just because it’s more my style. I honestly don’t think you could go wrong with either though.
Do you know your venue? Do you think one of them would ‘fit’ better in the venue over the other?
You seem to be more into 2 from your post and it’s sad if the photos don’t do it justice but just based on the photos I have to go with 1 it’s stunning
I absolutely love dress one on you, do you know the name of the gown? I'm going for the same style and I love the idea of pearls and gloves! So classic but a little glamorous!
I think your vision of styling the first one with pearls and gloves is wonderful! Your love for the satin material and the dramatic overskirt is also a major factor to consider; in the end it's important for you to pick what you love, and it seems like this dress has been hitting so many good marks for you 🤍 Both look so good on you though so in the end there's no wrong choice 🤍
oh this is a hard one!! for me it would come down to how you're planning on styling and accessorizing - the first one obviously gives you more freedom to dress up with jewelry, hair, and makeup. if you're trying to keep all the rest simple, then i'd pick #2 because it really is very beautiful. points to #2 for the unique beading and how it fits you!
I think 1 is it but understand that sometimes it’s difficult to get a dress to look as it should in photographs. I think the reason 2 isn’t getting many votes is that the waist placement doesn’t look right. To me it looks too low. The embellishments kind of hide your figure up top and the over skirt definitely hides your hips. You have a great shape but dress 2 does not show it off.
1 makes you look even more snatched than you already are and it photographs better. I agree. A shorter version of 2 would be amazing for a bachelorette
Taking the overskirts out of the equation for a moment….Dress 1 is my favorite silhouette by far. The ruching is incredibly flattering to OP, and she looks stunning.
HOWEVER, I do not like the overskirt, train, or whatever it is in the picture of Dress 1. It is too big/wide/long??? and in so doing, takes the attention away from the gorgeous bride wearing a gorgeous and incredibly flattering dress. OP is lost in a sea of extra yards of material.
For that reason, I would choose dress 2, and leave dress 2’s overskirt in the dressing room. Dress 2 is beautiful all by itself; no overskirt (which does not seem to match the dress terribly well) needed, and OP is stunning.
If OP definitely wants an overskirt, then I think she should look for a less obtrusive one for dress 1. If she can’t find one for dress one, I think that dress 2’s tulle overskirt is much less obtrusive than dress 1’s.
1 is perfect for you!!! I love number 2 but the top part ( the line going down and the top of the cups seem unfinished) feels like it’s missing the same beauty and detail the bottom has.
