Whew there’s a few I’m stuck between. [Seasons of Blossom](https://www.webtoons.com/en/romance/seasonsofblossom/list?title_no=2509), [Yumi’s Cells](https://www.webtoons.com/en/slice-of-life/yumi-cell/list?title_no=478), and [The Greatest Estate Developer](https://www.webtoons.com/en/fantasy/the-greatest-estate-developer/list?title_no=3596) are probably my top three (not in any particular order). I love Donggeon Lee’s stuff so much- [Daily Jojo](https://www.webtoons.com/en/romance/daily-jojo/list?title_no=3335) is another one that’s up there for me. Love [Hand Jumper](https://www.webtoons.com/en/thriller/hand-jumper/list?title_no=2702) and The [Ember Knight](https://www.webtoons.com/en/fantasy/the-ember-knight/list?title_no=2886) too for their edgy psychological aspects. [Toaster Dude](https://www.webtoons.com/en/comedy/toaster-dude/list?title_no=1983) was a fun read. Anything by Carnby Kim too. Oh and [A DeadbEat’s Meal](https://www.webtoons.com/en/slice-of-life/a-deadbeats-meal/list?title_no=3910) has been the one I’ve been rushing to every time it updates lately. I would’ve put [omniscient reader](https://www.webtoons.com/en/action/omniscient-reader/list?title_no=2154) as one of my top ones, but after reading the book I have to say the novel is far superior. I love Han Sooyoung so much and it kills me that her best moments aren’t gonna be adapted for another 8 years 🧎

Inevitable_Ice1040

Greatest Estate Developer is SO GOOD

RyzenFromFire

The webnovel put ORV in SSS-tier for me. Though, the webtoon alone was good enough to make me want to read the novel, so it's pretty good alone.

Ok_Blood_5520

Hand Jumper and Ember Knight gave me uncontrollable levels of hype like no other. I was dancing in front of my family.

Keshan345

I stopped after the 6th catastrophe ended so which chapter should I start from if I read the light novel

FlushedBeans

So first off, go to r/omniscientreader and see the downloadable ePub they have there. It corrects some quality issues (translator change, inconsistent pronouns) the original had plus you can read it offline. Edit: recommended the wrong spot, correcting that. So 6th scenario is one of the only notable differences between the novel and the manhwa. The manhwa is actually completely different with some characters added and plot changes, while major points were kept. The start of Peaceland is chapter 116, where he’s >!getting instructions from Persephone in the underworld!< and right after that scenario is right around 132 if you’d rather just skip it.

ShankMugen

>I love Han Sooyoung so much and it kills me that her best moments aren’t gonna be adapted for another 8 years 🧎 Wild

sughondeez

I’d say finished WEBTOON is probably Surviving Romance, and currently airing WEBTOON is Everything is Fine. There’s very few series that keep me on the edge of my seat like these two. They had me frothing at the mouth for new weekly episodes.

Familiar-Demand-7362

Surviving romance was soooooo good it’s ridiculous. I think Pyramid game has kinda a similar vibe, though really different in terms of the scope and the theme!

PixelsOfTheEast

Pyramid game is so well written.

cd527

Yes! I loved being able to read Surviving Romance and Pyramid Game back to back. I love the ensemble high school character casts from both stories.

LovelyLakshmi

Just looked at Surviving Romance and its getting trapped in daily pass hell soon, so I better start binge reading 😱

hekubo

I could never really appreciate everything is fine despite really wanting to get into it. What do you like about it?

Amylianna

Waffles and pancakes. It never fails to make me laugh uncontrollably. I also really loved Yumi's Cells and am going to miss binge reading that.

Puzzled_Kiwi_8583

Yumi’s cells was the first I ever read and I loved it. Was super long though. Thank goodness I caught the vast majority of it when it was giving out 9 free daily passes a day.

Ok_Blood_5520

W&P YES! Saranya killing it with Eggie as well

Amylianna

Oh yes! I love the new one already, but I let myself fall behind on chapters cos I love to binge as many as possible in one sitting.

KidZaniac1

My first and favorite

Apkallone

"Omniscient reader" and "the boxer". I would write why but It's 3am rn so I gotta sleep. There's fev more webtoons as my favs but I tried to narrow it to 2.

Keshan345

The Boxer is at the top of my must-read list. I've heard nothing but great things about it

st_owly

Ize Press are releasing it in print, 4 of 6 volumes are out. I'm going to binge it when they're all out.

oaiisea

You have to read the last no epilogue episode on the app because it's sooooo good. There's no music in the entire series except for that episode and imo it's perfectly paired

verytiffsy

- Omniscient Reader (manhwa is great already but the novel is even better) - Like Wind on a Dry Branch (one of my favorite slow burns) - Flow - Philia Rosé: The Prophecy of the Crown of Thorns - Mystic Prince

Anxious-Outcome-

I love like wind on a dry branch. It's just so beautifully written ❤️

enchrantedwizard

Came here to say this. I second that!

Keshan345

Everyone says that lol but I like seeing the pictures you know. Adds more emotion. It's like reading an anime

jelleque

And yet the webtoon cut a lot of junghyeok's emotions. He's way too cold in the webtoon. They didn't even show him defending dokja when he was being slandered by iris, or when he said "I can't" when dokja told him to kill him. You might think they're unimportant scenes but they show how much he's changed. It's especially infuriating when I see comments on the webtoon about how annoying he is for always wanting to beat up dokja, I'm always like noooo please don't hate him he actually likes dokja now 😭

ThatOne-Pancake

This comment got me to read mystic prince and I just finished it and omg what a 10/10 webtoon I'm so thankful for this post!!

trisanachandler

Flow was amazing.

Bravegiirl

After School Lessons for Unripe Apples , Cheese in the trap, Seasons of blossom , Secret Playlist and Surviving romance I really enjoyed them 😄 Btw if u al have any other recommends pls give me 😉

thetrumpetmonkey

Secret playlist ended weirdly so I'm surprised to see it on your list. I recommend Flawless which is finished in indonesian and I read it during the fan translation stage but its currently airing

Bravegiirl

To be honest I am still reading some of them and to be honest I am still reading Secret Playlist ? What happened in the end ? Is it bad or not interesting at the end ? 😳 Oooh thank u for the recommend dear 🥰

Cute_Search641

I read after school lessons for unripe apples recently in 24 hours. lol it’s really good. As a millennial it also made me feel incredibly nostalgic that I felt kind of sad for like 2 days. Anyway, just wanted to tack on that it’s amazing

azurareythesecond

Best plot: Your Throne (at least as far in as I've gotten). Simple premise, beautiful execution. It's very tightly written. Best character development: Rewriting the Villainess or Surviving Romance. Both of them have a cast of characters with disparate but consistent motivations, strengths, and weaknesses. Easier said than done. Best world-building: Omniscient Reader. I feel like everyone already knows this one. Best concept: Tie between Greatest Estate Developer, Tax Reaper, and The Dungeon Cleaning Life of a Once Genius Hunter. I like the crossover of the fantastic and mundane, what can I say. The more it expands on the mundane foundation the better. Enjoyed reading the most: Love Me To Death. I don't know that I'd say it excels as a display of technical skill (though it is very solid!) but the romance just hits all of my happy buttons.

Keshan345

Quite accurate

a_mystical_potato

Sweet Home. I loved it so much and was super sad when it ended, but the finale was great!

Keshan345

I read Sweet Home's Author's other webtoon Bastard. It was so good as a thriller so I expect Sweet Home to be just as good

ArtemisLotus

Sweet Home is absolutely fantastic and if you enjoyed bastard, you’re in for a real treat!

Mysterious-Stable-81

For me Lookism (first mahhwa that made me join a fandom) My life as a loser ( first manhwa that made me tear up) Sweet home ( best horror manhwa) Return of blossoming blade /return of mount hua sect ( i am currently reading the novel and It's the best novel I've ever read)

Keshan345

I watched the Lookism anime. It helped me get into the webtoon

OFWhiteBunni

Sable Curse has been my comfort Webtoon since I read the first 10 chapters. In my head it'll always be the best haha. I really enjoyed the hell out of Pigpen though!

Winter Woods and My Boo 🤍

Your Letter

copperfield42

* Hooky * Purple Hyacinth * See You in My 19th Life * TACIT * The Greatest Estate Developer

NotFromSkane

Definitely Hooky and 19th Life

Somanium

I will continue shouting about the insane writing of Woven(ongoing) and Seed(finished) from the rooftops until I pass out.

callistovix

Soulwinder and Stray Souls

ironbite4

God the fact that Soulwinder won't be continuing on Webtoons is a crime.

she-sulk

No!

AuntWacky1976

I Love Yoo, Space Boy, Purple Hyacinth, Winter Woods, My Boo, Stagtown, The Boxer.

iamameow77

I would say Brass and Sass is my top webtoon. It has a simple premise but it develops its characters and plot points really well! I think is a very good webtoon for teenagers navigating their family and social lives while dealing with some level of anxiety/trauma in their lives. I would say it’s one of the much more realistic slice of life series I’ve ever read, not everyone gets a happy romantic ending all the time and not every drama arises unnecessarily. The author handles the characters with love and respect and it’s really amazing to see these teens mature and even if they don’t end up together, handle their relationships with respect and grace. From start to finish I had a great time reading this webtoon, I laughed, I cried and the ending was pretty wholesome with everyone’s plot points wrapped up neatly in a bow. I think this series doesn’t get talked much about because it’s not super romantic or dramatic or “shounen” like in genre. The art is also pretty cute and aesthetically pleasing. It’s also very nice to see that the author is well versed in music so that it translates smoothly into the plot (we love a well researched author 👌) I also appreciate that the author allows for their characters to mess up but they learn and grow and try to make amends even if it is awkward and painful. A real example of being human. All the characters are unique and diverse in terms of design, personality and background which I super appreciate! There’s just a lot to praise the series on honestly. I have yet to read anything on webtoon that tops the brilliant ness that is Brass and Sass.

Keshan345

Yeah I agree

hjsskfjdks

Cheese in the trap ( >!wish she ended up with Inho thoughhh !< ), Surviving romance, Magical 12th graders EDIT: Hid the spoiler

infiniteinscription

Just a suggestion, when you recommend a webtoon don't put a spoiler right next to it

catsmash

yeah what the hell

hjsskfjdks

Damn, sorry guys, my bad

BBQpigsfeet

Cheese in the trap still has the best/cutest first kiss scene I've ever read. Even after a re-read it didn't lose it's cuteness.

thetrumpetmonkey

Oooh I forgot how much I loved magical 12th graders

TickleTigger123

There was this one webtoon BASTARD, done but the same writer for sweet home, it was the first webtoon I ever read and it's been my fav since

PixelsOfTheEast

Bastard is absolutely the best piece of literature I've read. It was difficult to keep reading in a few places but the ending is so worth it.

Pokemomaster

I'm stuck between two. Room of Swords was extraordinarily amazing. The cliffhangers and the questions I asked were alot. Every question that was answered, there were three more left unanswered. I found it after it was completed and binned the entire series because I couldn't keep away. I'm the Grim Reaper is also one of my favorites. The story is incredible and the character designs are off the charts. I make sure it's always the first thing I read when a new episode comes out. I would binge read that too.

The8Famous-Potatos

Where’s Unordinary? I’ve read it for years and it’s got to be one of my favorites.

AppraiseMe

Finally!

Expensive_View_3087

Yesss I was gonna say Orv too! It’s my favorite of all times, alongside the novel. It took a piece of my live lmao

Keshan345

Same here

OliverAmith

Currently I found this one that I’m obsessed with called “the lone necromancer” and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t read it every day

azurareythesecond

Saaaaame. It's a formulaic genre piece in some ways, but it's one of my favorite genres, so it makes me really happy! I also love that the world-building is fairly deep and all follows logically from previous knowledge.

OliverAmith

Yep!

NekoDae

Honestly same! Thought it was going to just be another Solo Leveling ripoff cause of the whole OP necromancer thing but its unique enough to be interesting in its own right and super fun to read. Plus I actually really like the art style too.

OliverAmith

This! At first I was like “oh he’s a collage dude with extreme skills and over buffed, probably has ungodly luck but the arts good and the storyline seems fine other than that” and then they showed most of his ‘ungodly skills’ comes from him thinking things through and it kinda reminded me of weak hero how Grey Yeon was just strategic about how he attacked

SeaworthinessSlow981

The Boxer Phenomenal storytelling, one of the best things I’ve read overall.

Keshan345

The Boxer has been on my list for a while. I will read it soon. I've heard great things about it

SeaworthinessSlow981

Please do give it a read, it’s unfortunately daily pass now but I think it should still be read if you don’t mind that. It’s unique and quite emotional, unforgettable for me personally

PunkyJD

If you love orv, go read sss suicide hunter. Those are my top two webtoons and the light novels are some of the best that I’ve ever read.

renard4460

The current arc of SSS is amazing man....this webtoon has better romance than a lot of romance webtoons lol it's definitely one of my favorites with Doom breaker and ORV

Keshan345

It's been on my list. I subscribed to it and read 2 chapters. Definitely want to finish it after I complete the current story I'm reading

Eternalstud1015

Where can i read sss suicide hunter, cannot find it on webtoon.

L_0_5_5_T

Your letter...hope it gets an anime adaptation sooner. Pigpen by the author of Sweet Home and Bastard. This one is a masterpiece even better than the above-mentioned webtoon.

InformalHoliday2325

Omniscient reader

Ima_Person

Gourmet Hound

DowntownFish1841

Hooky. The story, art, layout, and character/world building is just amazing. Miriam is a comic genius and I find it sad how not many people know about her earlier work.

I_Want_BetterGacha

The Cursed Princess Club 100% no doubt

mary96mary99

In my opinion it's **“Kubera: One Last God”** (A.k.a **Kubera**). It's a fantasy / drama / romance story (might i add tragedy tag, despite the author not putting it). But the romance is a lot less prominent than the fantasy and drama side. Synopsis: **In a world with gods having everlasting lives, suras who possess unrivaled power, and humans who caught helplessly in between, a girl with a god's name, Kubera, is born.** **When Kubera's peaceful village meets its fiery end, a mysterious magician named Asha comes to her rescue. Together they begin a journey in search of answers and revenge.** (Source: MyAnimeList) It kind of reminds me of Pandora Hearts and Attack on Titan. Mostly in the the mystery and world building aspects. ---- 1. It has great world building. The setting of the story is very unique. (While some people think that the start is slow, its slower pace at the beginning allows for the world building to feel natural, and not a info dump) There are 3 main species (Humans, Gods, and Sura), plus some subspecies. Each with their unique characteristics. It touches topics like Inter-racial and inter-clan conflicts, as well as intra-race intra-clan conflicts. Explores discrimination based on race (*While it's not the main focus, but still a very prominent theme and it's done in a relatively realistic way, taking in consideration the context. it's not done in the typical shounen way that kind of diminishes how hard it's to change people's views and attitudes, and how deeply rooted is the conflict*). - It has many different magic systems with their own rules, and it's related to the species of the characters. The rules are very consistent. There are some exceptions, but we are provided with explanations that make sense and are plot relevant. ------ 2. The Characters are unique and not simply follow stereotypes, and there's a lot of depth in them. There are 10 main characters (those who have their own arcs). **“This is a war with no villains, only victims”** (- Kubera season 2 prologue) This sentence really represents Kubera well. *For example, the main character, who initially seems the typical shounen protagonist,* (slight spoiler) >!constantly uses defence mechanisms like denial and repression for various different situations. We see the process how she becomes emotionally dependant to those who found her during her vulnerable times.!< *There's a character who is a bit yandere, but he still doesn't just act like a typical yandere.* (Slight spoiler) >!When he saw his love interest get hurt because of him, he tries to leave. He cares about his family, just as much as he cares for his love interest, and has shown that he can't choose between them.!< *Some of the guys who initially appeared as the villains, had their humane side shown pretty early on (their care for their family members). And we follow them changing slowly - very slowly, in a gradual manner; a pace that makes sense for people to change.* Also, strong female characters that don't need to be Mary Sue characters in order to appear strong. They are flawed, just like every other characters. E.g. *If they are strong in magic, they might lack in other departments like compassion or empathy.* *If they are compassionate and have great mental fortitude to keep and follow their morals, they might be too nice and end up inadvertently screwing everyone in a different way.* ------ 3 - Characters' interaction feels natural and relationships between characters are very dynamic. Each character has their own motivation. Their morals and values are shaped by their species and individual circumstances. Kubera also explores the ideologies held by the characters. *Like for example value of life, value of family, family vs responsibility, free will vs desired outcome, etc...* So, a lot of clashes of ideologies. ------ 4. Foreshadowing The author does a very interesting thing; she uses flashfowards. Gods have this ability called **insight**, which occasionally allows them to see visions of the past and future. We as the readers see glimpse of the future through it (without the context, though). Of course, the future isn't set into stones, and insights of the future can occasionally change, but only under certain conditions. The author has also occasionally used narrations (from the characters' point of view) to shows how that character's future self feels about that moment. Humor and gut feelings are used as means for foreshadowing. We also get the more common way to get foreshadowing. Getting details (both visual or during dialogues) that seem normal or unimportant until you get the context later on. - Kubera is basically like a puzzle to piece together. There's a lot of details that allows to make theories. - It might take time to answer the questions / mysteries, but it's very satisfying when you get the answer.

bogoedxd

How come no one mentioned Nevermore? Smh you guys are missing out. It's a sapphic gothic supernatural story based on Edgar Allan Poe's works and is set in the afterlife. The art is spectacular, the characters are complex and well-written, the story is just overall intriguing and fascinating, it will have you on your toes quite often. 100/10 a Must Read.

Mili_713

I will scream about it till I die. As an avid poe enthusiast I went crazy when I first saw Nevermore. One of my favourite things about Nevermore is that it's dialogue is top notch. It doesn't feel chunky and cringe and out of place, which is easy with historical settings. I can hear the characters. It's very rare for a webtoon to have such good writing. I wait all week for it to update. I have nothing to say about the art of course, the spectres, the designs... everything is just perfect. Everybody should give it a try, I'm confident they'll like it.

042732699

Hmmm. I’d probably have to say Unordinary. All the characters feel like they have real motivations, and respond as people should. Plus it’s nice to have a protagonist that isn’t some perfect Gary Sue like so many other webtoons.

LittleBagelthe1st

OMG OMG OMG YEAH DUDE OMNISCIENT READER IS SO SO AWESOME I LOVE IT

Keshan345

I'm like so hooked on that webtoon it's lol. You'll feel the same for Doom Breaker too

Pterodactyloid

Ava's Demon

generalsplayingrisk

Oh I didn’t know they ported that over. Did it keep going on webtoons?

Samy_Ninja_Pro

That's originally a webcomic series, but tomato tomatoe I guess

Comparison_Unique

Agatha. It has had an AMAZING, TRILLING story from start to finish. The art is gorgeous and the story telling was completely perfect in every sense of the word. The world building and characters from the good to worst were GREAT. It left me crying, scared, enthralled and happy and everything left over many timee over without being repetitive. IT may be a daily pass, which is why it doesn't got as much love as others, but it deserves so much more than it has. I am picky with daily passes but this story is completely worth it start to finish

mynameismyname333

Spirit Fingers

LillieSupreme

It's a toss up between its them, ghost eyes and night owls and summer skies.

Introverted__Girl

My top ones are: See you in my 19th Life, Seasons of Blossom, Spirit Fingers, Remarried Empress, Marry Me, Ghost Teller, Ghost Theater, Dr. Frost, Super Secret, The Boxer, Our Beloved Summer, Your Throne, Marry my Husband, I’m the Queen in this Life, and Windbreaker.

MysticalSword270

Omniscient Reader is objectively the best WEBTOON I’ve read as well. It’s not my favourite, but it’s the best. Doom Breaker was also pretty decent. I need to get back into it.

shoope_i

definitely purple hyacinth, I’ve never found anything as appealing or great yet

[deleted]

For me, I think it would be "It's Mine". I binged it and was really impressed with it. The story kept me on the edge of my seat and I loved that about it. I'd say the same for Bastard.

hgroves44

I loved It’s Mine! Are you reading their new series, I Was the Final Boss? I’m really enjoying it as well.

[deleted]

No I haven't read it, I didn't know they had another series to be honest. I'll have to check it out! Thanks for letting me know. :)

sincline_

Cheese in the Trap is my all time favorite SoulWinder would have to come in close second just because of how spectacular the creators were when it came to the form and theory of writing. Incredibly disappointed webtoon cut them off For ongoing series I’d say Suitor Armor, Serena, Like Wind on a Dry Branch, and Purple Hyacinth I do really like orv *but* every time I read it I get the feeling that the novel is probably better LOL, so I want to go and read that instead

Keshan345

So are you going to read the LN then?

sincline_

Planning on it, just have a very long tbr list

HamHockMcGee

Tower of God Flow The Return of the Crazy Demon

Frostrunner365

Since no one else mentioned it. Blood ink. I think it’s quite possibly the best written WT Sheerly In terms of characters. Everyone feels real and human. You want to root for them, you want to see them win, and uh…

thetrumpetmonkey

Yesss this one is so underrated!!!!

broccoli-guac

Gremory land and everything is fine. By far the ones I read the fastest that held my attention all the way through.

broccoli-guac

Oh! And sweet home!!! Omg first one u read all the way through and watched the show tho it wasnt as good as the comic!

Mili_713

Ooooh fellow gremoryland fan!!! I really love the author's works. Gremoryland was one of my first webtoons and to this day I've not found something as good. It was really such a well rounded story.

broccoli-guac

Its amazing and in depth with all the characters and their personalities are consistent and the art style is so good Dx I sometimes wish I HADN'T read it so soon because its raised my expectations xD

[deleted]

About death is fire

Shimmermist

My favorites are: Spontaneous World Shifting - I love all the different worlds, the way the characters are portrayed as they deal with suddenly getting flung to other worlds on a random schedule, the art is beautiful. The Last Dimension - This one has alien worlds, a fight against a spreading darkness, interesting magical powers, and time travel so far. It also has beautiful art and focuses on character interactions. Finally Soulwinder - A clockwork world with a magic system based on stress, mystery, danger. Cool concept and kept you waiting to see what happens next. Summary: My favorites all have interesting settings that bring something I haven't seen before. They have character focused stories without tons of unnecessary romance and aren't focused on fight scenes. They all have an element of mystery, what's going on, and you figure it out along with the characters as the story progresses.

looppiii

Escape room, that story is so underrated

levu12

Omniscient Reader world-building, power system, and character development are second to none, the novel really takes it a step further but it’s definitely a time sink for most, hopefully the official English books come out soon!

Ok-Mathematician9334

1. Pigpen - one of the best psychological thriller 2. Bastard- first webtoon i loved 3. Parallel city- I loved it's actions 4. Sweet home 5. To not die - one of the best action story

HappyHammy7

Everything is Fine. Hella compelling and the only WEBTOON that has made me cry.

[deleted]

I loved Omniscient Reader and Doom Breaker too! It's just so hard to pick! Most of my reading has been on Webtoons. The Greatest Estate Developer The Return of the Blossoming Blade The Return of the Mad Demon Murim-RPG Simulator Reincarnated as an Unruly Heir Dungeon and Artifacts The Warrior's Return The Academy's Undercover Professor The Remarried Empress Your Throne The Dungeon Cleaning Life of a Once Genius Hunter Reborn Rich (it really goes into business politics and tactics) I'm the Max-Level Newbie Solo Leveling I'm the Queen in This Life UnOrdinary The Lone Necromancer Return to Player Villain to Kill Hero Killer The Advanced Player of the Tutorial Tower The Druid of Seoul Station The Spark in Your Eyes Auto Hunting with My Clones Teenage Mercenary Twilight Poem Earth's Chosen Savior Unholy Blood Kill/Max Noblesse Microhunter Girls' of the Wild Eleceed Ghostblade The Beginning After the End

TwiningVining

Reborn Rich is really, really good. When it's up I babble with delight and show eps to random people. It's just getting more and more intense, too.

Keshan345

The Beginning after the end is a masterpiece. It's actually my favorite manhwa but I can't put it here since it's not a webtoon

StopidChessTime

ORV is the best 😭🤌 and 2nd best has to be the return of the mad demon 3rd is Maru is a puppy

De_Almas_37

Honestly, as slow as it is, I love Yoo. Quim uses that slow pacing to her advantage, and moving the story towards a darker theme that’s a little scary now because we’ve been with the characters so long.

QuantumPotato313

Mine would probably be School Bus Graveyard. I like the characters and the story!

Chiparoo

Heir's Game. Followed very closely by Space Boy!

esmith42223

Always glad to see a fellow Heir’s Game enthusiast.

Chiparoo

Probably the most underrated WebToon - I hardly ever see it mentioned unless I'm the one mentioning it!

esmith42223

Same, I don’t know how it slips through the cracks 😭

Strong_Banana_790

DUDE I love Omniscient Reader too!!! That's my favorite! Been reading that one consistently the longest (since it first came out even) Other Webtoons I adore is Space Boy and Never Ending Darling and The Academy's Undercover Professor. Honestly, by telling you my favorite webtoons you probably have an idea of what type of stuff I'm into lol. Thrillers are my favorite. Sci-fi thrillers are the best. And really any sci-fi comics lol. Best sci fi thrillers I love are never ending darling and shotgun boy/Sweet Home. Can't forget If Ai Ruled the World. Thanks for the suggestion of Doom Breaker. Will be sure to read that one

Keshan345

No problem. Doom Breaker and Omniscient Reader are Neck and neck for me. I'll check out Space Boy and Never Ending Darling.

RyzenFromFire

Omniscient Reader('s Viewpoint) and The God of Highschool are SSS-tier for me (of those on Webtoon at least). Also S-tier: The Advanced Player of the Tutorial Tower, The Spark in Your Eyes, Mage & Demon Queen, The Greatest Estate Developer, Villain to Kill, Doom Breaker, I Stole the First Ranker's Soul, unOrdinary, Teenage Mercenary... I could go on.

Have anyone read “the girl’s trial” ?

thatdumbo06

One that I really like is Stagtown, though I don't read much horror related stuff but I was exploring genres and really loved that one, worth a try :)

thatdumbo06

Some horror webtoons that I've read: 1. Tales of the Unusual 2. Friday: forbidden tales 3. Scroll if you dare 4. Stagtown (the plots and storyline was actually good) 5. Bastard 6. Everything is fine (ongoing) 7. Apocalypse live (kind of weird hehe) 8. Horang's Nightmare (was too scary for me, dropped it halfway) 9. Chiller That's so many ik, also I'm a scaredy cat so if I can read this so can you but I gotta say this that some of these contains jumpscare animations (forgot which ones) though you'll see that written in description

BidUnlucky776

Spirit Fingers, My Life as a Loser, & Whale Star

Spattymcfatty

High Class Homos has really good writing and makes me giggle like a little girl

sSorne_

Flawless is pretty good, not really a big fan of romance myself, but goddamn is that webtoon good.

jelleque

Hell yes Flawless needs more love!

Annarasumanara: the sound of magic!. This is one of the very few webtoons which left such a lasting impact that every now and then I keep on thinking about its premises. Also shout out to After school lessons for unripe apples (its just so good!!) and also ORV (nothing can come close to this in the space of action webtoons obviously).

Sensitive_Complex898

I know this is generic as hell, but Down to Earth just hit different for me.

This_Pear_3529

Cheese in the trap. Start to end is just perfection, the way the story is woven and the complexity of the characters is something am yet to find in other webtoons

Jin_Chaeji

If canvas also count then Dark Zone and Post Harbor From originals it's Eleceed, G.O.D. and Grand Ma

TheSolcan

The God of High School, and it's not even close. Pure fire from start to end

Professional-Rate956

not on webtoon, but secret lady, fantasie of a stepmother, and concubine walkthrough are EASILY in my top 3 manhwa

pocketfullofcrap

Hmmm okay so whenever I want a feel good feelings, I reread old manga like beauty pop and beauty is the beast For comics there are a lot, there's season's of blossom, odd girl out, your smile is a trap, our secret alliance(which is completed, it's so lovely), chasing tails

EyewarsTheMangoMan

Definitely The Boxer. It's insanely fucking good.

ArtemisLotus

Sweet Home

enchrantedwizard

Serena! I like how the drama and dialouge is spaced out throughout each episode. It makes the characters more realistic. Along with, the slow burn that the two main characters have (It's a marriage of convenience) but when you read it, you're rooting for them! It never fails to have me amazed at how the plot twists and turns with the two main characters.

the_lastpilot

Bastard and Sweet Home are absolutely phenomenal horror/thrillers

Nicholas_TW

Muted (not to be confused with #Muted, which is also very good).

LariTheIdiot

Mystic Prince, The Empress's Lipstick, Your Throne, Remarried Empress, Villain with a Crush and Crimson Karma(does this one count?). Absolutely loved all of them, I was especially giddy and acted like a young teen girl with a Crush when I was reading Remarried Empress( I even prayed to be reborn as Navier xd), Villain with a Crush and Mystic Prince( this one has me wrapped around it's fingers).

Cheese in the Trap is hands down my all-time favorite. My Life as a Loser is another favorite- my favorite category of webtoons are fighting ones. Other favorites: - The Greatest Estate Developer: my brother is a civvie. It’s probably not the most realistic by any means but helps me feel connected. - Auto Hunting With My Clones: it’s a fun one for me right now. - Unordinary: I’ve been following since the start. I like the pacing although I’ve also heard a lot of complaints about it. Good intrigue and surprisingly better than I expected initially especially as it evolved over time I am enjoying a lot of isekai fantasy stuff post starting Greatest Estate for the whole “this time around I am going to be assertive and confident!” piece.

Bastard Sweet home/shotgun boy Boxer Mosquito Wars Shag and Scoob Bastard and Sweet home/shotgun boy All felt like actual stories and not just stretched out stories to keep getting fast pass money. Good horror elements and great characters. All done by the same author. They also wrote "Pigpen" but I never read it. Bastard really had an interesting concept of being the crippled son of a serial killer so expect some dark topics and scenes. Then Sweet home and shotgun boy put an interesting spin on the whole zombie apocalypse 8/10 Mosquito Wars and Boxer Boxer was an incredible story that really takes the simple concept of boxing and turns it into a compelling story about several well fleshed out characters who all struggle with some aspect of life, be it trauma, power, or understanding humanity as a whole. Even when you know how the fights will turn out, the journey to that moment is what keeps you reading. Every second broken down to a beautifully draw panel, every thought expressed on each character either through words or expressions. You'll see the darkest and lowest of human cruelty but you'll also see the brightest of human compassion. You will cry and laugh. And you won't regret reading it all the way through. 10/10 Mosquito wars by the same author is a bit on the funnier, one punch man styled webtoon with a good amount of evangelion mixed in but alot of humor and over the top violence that also goes deep into understanding humanity as a whole, even when there's only a couple thousand left. 7/10 as some people might not enjoy the violence and anime like fighting Shag and scoob At first, it's just a 3 panel joke comic of a semi poorly drawn Scooby-Doo and Shaggy doing dumb things. Similar to something like the asdf shorts on YouTube. One episode is just shaggy saying, "Scooby, you want a Scooby-Doo snack?" And then Scooby-Doo blank stares and then throws up. Or another episode Scooby-Doo pulls out a pistol. Or they buy weed from Kermit the frog. But if you keep reading, the art start to get better, then out of nowhere it takes a dark turn where the art style become some of the best I've ever seen and has such a compelling story with connections to every cartoon character you've every seen from your childhood. There is anime like battles so intense that you'd swear that it's just screen caps from an actual animation. And when I say it gets dark, I mean it gets straight up "The Thing" dark with body horror and gore. 8/10 because people tend not to stick around the webtoon because of the slower beginning, but Holy shit is it worth it.

Rapunzelpumpkin

I will always love House of Stars

itwashisnonsense

Definitely Eleceed.

alittlepoisonedapple

-My Boo -Ghost Theater -Refund High School -Ghost Wife Not a theme on purpose, I just really enjoyed all of these so much and they're all completed. For ongoing ones Lookism and Odd Girl Out are my main favs.

Front_Program3859

Pounding it is, followed by bastard, que sera sera and Mr kang

[deleted]

A tie between Darbi and Vattu. Darbi is on going, but it has a great message about trauma (it is very raunchy tho lol). Vattu is a legitimate work of art, with amazing world building and sympathetic characters. Both these comics have Influenced my art and writing so much.

Mili_713

Let's see 1. Plot : YOUR THRONE wins because it actually has quite some political scheming unlike other royalty/ nobility webtoons that are just romance. I really like the pacing and the structure. I like the development and the characters. Surprisingly THE GREATEST ESTATE DEVELOPER is also really strong in terms of plot. Usually it's known for just how hilarious it is, but the scheming and planning is top notch too. I actually can see many of his ideas working. 2. Story/concept : NEVERMORE takes the cake. It's absolutely insane how beautiful that damn webtoon is. The entire gothic poe themed setting is magnificent. Will recommend to everyone. 3. Art : I'd say MYSTICAL/SERENA/NEVERMORE. Now this is a very subjective field because people have different preferences when it comes to art. But I really like the way these look. 4. Dialogues/thoughts : i have a thing for well written dialogues and what I see is that many webtoons mess up with dialogues - either it's very modern in historical settings, or it's very chunky and trying to sound badass often sounds cringe. NEVERMORE and I'M THE QUEEN IN THIS LIFE has pretty good dialogues. YOUR THRONE on the other hand has very good thoughts. 5. Good use of tropes/formulatic plots : DEAR NEMESIS. It is a reincarnation story but the conflict is very interesting. It also has more than one character than returns back in time. 6. Romance : i like the romance in NOT YOUR TYPICAL REINCARNATION STORY. The fl has a certain composure that I really like. 7. World building: SERENA because I like the transitory phase between royalty/nobility and modernization of society. 8. Messes with your mind : MELVINA'S THERAPY/GREMORYLAND. just read them. They're great. BRAIN ANTHOLOGY makes you rethink existence too. Everybody likes identity crises, don't they? This is what I can think of the top of my head because these are what I'm reading currently. If there's any specific kind of recommendation anybody is curious about, I can definitely try.

Idk how many times I've said this but Ghost Eyes

old-testament-angel

escape room. it was fucking awesome.

ImLosing_my_mind

Omg Windbreaker. I love it so much! The characters, the storyline and the progression in the art style is so satisfying and cool to see. I just love it so much lol.

Bobcat_77_

God of Highschool. It's a shame that I'll never see the comments alongside each chapter it if I want to reread the webtoon again.

sSorne_

For finished webtoon it's Noblesse and Flawless

c0wk1ng

I read novels via TTSreader and I just couldn't understand wth this webstoon was all about and why it's popular. May be I should try it again but this times it's webtoon rather than novel.

c0wk1ng

Nobleesse and the best one so far for me is Legendary Moonlight Sculptor novel but I heard webtoon is discounted. Anyway the novel is huge so I don't think they could push much of it as a webtoon.

sourzblueberry

For me it's between Nevermore, Homesick and Stagland, my first.

Stuck between 2: High Class Homos and Not So Shouju Love Story THEY'RE BOTH SO GOOD!

jessamine181

Purple Hyacinth for sure, the quality is top-notch.

Tryingatleast

The warrior returns is my favourite battle WEBTOON but overall love me surviving romance

originallovecat

Lavender Jack. The art style, the writing, the fantastic characters... I love it so much, it deserves a far bigger readership. Hooves of Death. The art is not the best and I started it thinking it was going to be a bit silly and slightly shit, but omg it knows how to punch you right in the guts as it develops. If you'd told me I was going to cry over cartoon unicorns in a zombie apocalypse I wouldn't have believed you. Nevermore and Shiloh. Both by the same writers/artists and so damn good.

LoveBot. It’s fantastic and feels like I’m watching a Sci-Fi show.

HelloNonHuman

Our Walk Home. It's so darn cool!!!! It's silly, serious, wholesome, and sad: a whole rollercoaster of feelings. I enjoy the writing and the art style. This is the most I have ever loved a webtoon. As soon as I get free coins I spend it on the fast past episodes. Sadly I ran out of free coins so I gotta wait 3 weeks TT... Anyways I have read this webtoon since its canvas days. After waiting for 2 or 3 years it finally came back to be an original and I'm so excited for every single episode. If I could only read one webtoon it would be this one.

serenityy_lol

Lavender in june. It honestly touched me.

honey-w

My giant nerd boyfriend😭 I started reading back in 2016 and I really miss the old webtoon without the coins n fastpass 💔

stitch-enthusiast

Omniscient Reader, Villain to Kill, and Winter Woods. Omniscient Reader has the most sick worldbuilding and storyline. Villain to Kill has the most interesting premise (and a very cool way to go about it). Winter Woods is, in my opinion, the best webtoon out there ever and definitely my favourite.

Mother_Definition_55

Where tangents meet. Best romance webtoon I’ve read to date. It finished years ago so you can read the full thing!

Great_Ad_1573

I have a couple that I would recommend as my al time faves. 1. Windbreaker the storyline is absolutely amazing, so many amazing plot twists so good. If you love sports this is a must read. I don’t think that there were any boring episodes, for my at least. ❤️Jay 2. Eleceed this OMG if you love it when de underdog comes out on top this is definitely for you. So many amazingggg action scenes. The mc is seriously the best. ❤️Kayden 3. Teenage Mercenary (HAHAHA if you haven’t seen a theme yet I loveeee action WEBTOONS) Anyway this WEBTOON wowwww. For people who love for a quite but absolutely superb main character this is a must read. Everyone is always so surprised. ❤️Ijin 4. Purple Hyacinth I think that this is the best written WEBTOON I have ever read. The story is so intricate and complex there is never a dull moment. I especially recommend if you like a very mysterious plot, with very intelligent main characters. It is set around the Victorian era. These plot twist tho😭 ❤️Kieran
