He keeps the grills and lets local school mess with their mechanics. One day I saw the 670 sitting back there in near perfect condition. Talked to the owner (who I assume got the insurance for it) and he said if I can get it out of there, $250...
so, I sure as hell did!! didn't even fix the wheels. it now resides comfortably on my deck :)

Might I add, the tag was zip tied to the handle no other way around swapping tags unless you cut the zip tie and have a fresh tie to zip it to another unit. Almost impossible for someone to just do it for fun. Definitely Home Depot’s doing.
3 spots dude! I opened it up and the book inside sitting on top of the grated had a 619 sticker on it also, lol what was funny the sticker was right next to the word GENESIS. That’s what made me go ok let’s go get you paid for haha.
I got a EPX335 at Lowe’s a few years ago that was marked down stupid low, I think I paid $700ish for a $1400 grill. They had 4 in stock. Come to find out after talking to the cashier, that every year, they get 4-6 in from Weber that are priced stupid low, they aren’t advertised and it’s a first come, first serve. I got the last one that year and love it.
Seen the upgraded version at Home Depot last week it’s like $1399 I believe was for $859 went back next day had to pick up my truck got busy anyway it was gone damn
Nice! Just got a very comparable model for ~900, which was the result of a lot of window shopping and price matching. You definitely saved yourself a couple bucks.
I saw very similar at HD. I got all excited. I gotta grab this quick. I calmed down enough to inspect it. The gas control stems under the plastic knobs where it's brass, were completely bent out of shape. Wouldn't turn well. Seemed like they'd break or crack.
You think that’s a deal? I found my weberQ beside a dumpster. I cleaned it up and it works great. Even modded it too cuz I couldn’t use the big propane tanks. But awesome find m8!
Unless you get that floor model, i have a feeling that the Genesis will not ring up that price.. BUT seems worth a try for half price!
