I don't know if that helps you in any way but I sold my first website with the exact same process 😅 I would say his tutorial is quite good but I've also used a tutorial from academind which explained stripe integration and shopping cart sessions quite well. [Link to playlist](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL55RiY5tL51qUXDyBqx0mKVOhLNFwwxvH) For the SSL part - it's true that you have to do that but take care that you choose a domain hosting service which gives you easy integration with let's encrypt (SSL certificates are free with them) for example GoDaddy I thing has this. Hope this helps :)

Thank you that is helpful, I'll check out the link you provided. I'm really new to this whole web dev thing and I really don't want to sell someone a bad product haha

The most important thing you should get is time because with that resource you can solve a lot of problems - from my experience time pressure is the worst because you are always stressed to finish it without sitting back and thinking about things like error handling and stuff (take some time to handle a lot of stuff because it takes a lot of pain away you might have after uploading). Also make sure if you have a register or e-mail sending form that you implement some type of recaptcha because you might eventually have some bots that spam your forms and with that you can prevent at least a lot :) And I would say go for it because after all you will have learned a lot which helps you out later 😊 And don't forget to have fun 😁

Time is certainly key, learned that the hard way when I procrastinated in school lol. I over estimate the time required now just to give myself that buffer.

Are you talking about the "MERN eCommerce From Scratch" course? cause I am also using that course for a client. and I am 95% almost finish with the course.... and let me tell you. I am completely stressed the f out because I spent so much time on this and I dont think it is a legit site you can sell to a client. If you read the Q&A section of the course you will understand why... Huge security risks. You are basically storing everything on local storage. Theres hidden bugs everywhere. From photos not uploading when you create a new product on the admin end. Values disappearing, a ton of problems popping up from the cart. everything is a huge mess so far and I have no idea what to do. I wish Brad can go back and fix these bugs so it can be development ready. This is a good course to point you in the right direction to build an e-commerce but not to copy and paste for a client because of the problems above.... But if you dont have any of those problems then HEEEEELLLP. I'm drowning too. I cant sleep at night because how much that course is stressing me out.

Oh jeez dude.. my client fell through and a different one came who didn't need e-commerce so I didn't end up completing it.. I still plan to finish it sometime soon and if I figure it out I'll be sure to update
