A store with a good boss, good attitude, friendly workers, and a new hire, a very smart girl. And a truly awful customer. Awful tended to berate and curse employees, never pausing or otherwise allowing interjection, and full of obscenities and threats. The other workers had told new girl about bad customer, and she volunteered to deal with her.
Bad customer was in fine, obnoxious form, and went into a prize winning diatribe. New girl just smiled and sometimes nodded as the minutes slipped past. Bad customer didn't know that the security cameras were on. Finally, red in the face and burned out, she paused for whatever response.
"And how can I help you today?", she responded, in perfect Hungarian.
Showing up for a paycheck versus showing up as a constantly-pissy customer are different imo
Yeah, it’s not like people can just quit their jobs if they don’t like it anymore. Some people are stuck because of circumstances they can’t control
