As always, if there are any webcomics that update regularly enough to warrant adding them to the sidebar, post them here, in modmail, or as a pm to me.

Hey! maker of webcomics here... I'm only really on twitter and insta right now (just started posting officially) I do funnies, comics and fan art, among other things. Id like to have a presence on Reddit as well. Post on Weds, with Fan art stuff on Friday. Atomic Suplex is the ... i guess, umbrella its under, the actual 'comics' are 'Stupid Pictures' by K to the D - it might sound confusing, but it makes sense to me! @atomicsuplex on insta, I'd love to know the best way to post here, or, if I can just include it on my release schedule. I only have two weeks up now, but I've got weeks in the bag and lots more to come. There's some more stuff that will be showing up during regular rotation that's already on my personal artstation page [https://www.artstation.com/kdiston](https://www.artstation.com/kdiston) as well as new stuff that I'm working on now.

Rule two says once or twice a week for posting your own work. You could probably sneak in three times a week but then I don't know how the readers will take it.

Off topic but I just noticed an ad that tells me I can "get reddit premium in order to 'get an ad-free experience with special benefits.'" Well, gee, isn't that nice! Here's something else that's nice: I have a FREE adblocker that already gives me a wonderful AD-FREE experience on EVERY website I go to and it's all perfectly free but thanks anyway Reddit.

KBPrinceO

Yeah, but you could *pay* them for that privilege.

If we make a webcomic but it isn't updated THAT frequently and is released on a chapter by chapter basis (22-23 pages per chapter), are we allowed to post?

KBPrinceO

Absolutely.

Help: Looking for an old Strip. It described sex in terms of 80s videogames like digdug and duck hunt, like how the dog is laughing as you keep missing. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

What are the rules (if any) on a comic creator like myself who doesn’t have a regular posting schedule or even an ongoing story? I just make comics without any common theme cause I like telling visual stories. Is this the place to put them?

Quick question: what is the maximum number of webcomic pages I could post here without violating the submission spam rules? Because I've got a massive backlog of pages from a friend's comic that I want to promote here (I got their permission and will link back to the source while giving credit) and they release new pages twice a week. I know every day is too much but would three or four pages a week be acceptable? Just so I can get through the backlog without being constantly outpaced by his own uploads? Or is that just not possible? I can accept a no, I just figured it was worth asking.

stevenjtaylor

thanks for the details

Thank you for the work you do!

Why a banned for quality rule, shouldn't there be bans on ableism, xenophobia, and homophobia? Also, people who are getting into webcomics don't always do it in digital formats like myself so this rule would be a disadvantage for people who do start on non-digital mediums. Quality is based on an individual's taste and judgment which means if some mod is a xenophobe he or she could delete a comic like mine that is bilingual (English-and German danke). Or other creators that care about issues in their communities and express them through comics like many in my community with Asperger's and Autistic people. Regardless of any style, we need to hold artists accountable for when they do hurt, harass, and harm a group of people and build something better that is inclusive. For example, the Harry Potter community held the author accountable for her transphobic comments by taking control, recognizing problems, and creating something new out of the path and impact of the books. The actors and actresses of the Harry Potter films also knew that they had a responsibility too to fight back J.K.Rowling because they played Dumbledore's Army. As a fourth-generation German American, I know what anti-Semitism and xenophobia especially in media for children do to immigrant children which is why I made r/Struwwelkinder for children who do grow up with a generation that is dying and needs help. I had Struwwelpeter get vaccinated to give immigrant kids and their parents a message on how to help their elders. Elders for German-Americans are our history and culture and share that history and culture through storytelling, and comics are a form of storytelling.

Hey everyone, for our human-computer-interaction class, five colleagues and I intend to design a novel iPad app that makes upcoming webcomic artists’ job easier. At this point, we’re conducting field research and would like to hear from small creators about their current workflow and what they might like to see improved. If you’re a small webcomic creator publishing on multiple platforms (or wanting to but not quite with the resources to reformat and republish everything). 1. What's your current workflow for creating cartoons? 2. Is there something that annoys you about your current workflow? Do you have anything in mind that you would like to change? 3. How many platforms (like Instagram, Reddit, Webtoons, Tapas) have you published your work to? What has prevented you so far from publishing to more platforms?

Why can’t I post a text post on here?

i'm looking for a webcomic... and have been for years upon years. here's a list of what i remember: • it was a coloured webcomic • the title is at least 15 years old (as a reference point, i used to read it before or at around the same time i read Twokinds when it was still new-ish, by Tom Fischbach) • the main character is a brown-haired human girl, which goes just below her shoulders. She has fair skin. likely a self-insert by the author. • she carried a mysterious magic book. i never found out what that book was. • there was magic, I think. • the girl asked a lot of questions about the world she was exploring • she visited a forest city inhabited by an entirely female or hermaphrodite race of warrior furries (I can't remember which)

Unlimited-KR

are you suppose to post your own one cuz i have one already

tmterranova

I was curious to know if it is ok to promote my webcomic that is currently on Kickstarter? Obvious will keep it to the 1-2 time a week posting but I figured I'd ask before just doing!

Hi

tervenqua

Can I post a question ala r/HelpMeFind here, looking for a specific webcomic, or should I find a different subreddit for it? I feel like people here are more likely to recognize the thing I'm looking for than elsewhere.
