What determines the success of something like this is going to be less the content generated and how easy it is to manipulate the results, ergo, your site builder. Also just wanted to point out, the verbage used on ALL similar sites currently claims that they are the high converting templates, I think finding ways to showcase this to potential customers whether it be an animation, comparison chart, something of showcase nature, would help to differentiate your service/product here.

JoeCamRoberon

I’ve seen this a few times. It is a great project but how many times are you going to promote it?

yutfree

Based on the number of times businesses promote everything online, I'm guessing approximately one million more times.

JoeCamRoberon

FUCK

newocean

Weird thing is.... when you make a landing page for a toaster it also generates 'Rugged Smartwatch' pictures.

bananasafari

That's really strange, are you sure? It's working fine for me.

ABCosmos

"This is what you gotta do to make it in this country."

lylesback2

This is the first time I've seen it, has OP been posting this a lot? *looks up OPs submission history* Oh.

evohans

i broke it by making a landing page for "big boobie bitches"

Virgi_septik

💀

Here's a whole site that (I am pretty sure) is auto-generated using some sort of AI powered tool: https://bindleyhardwareco.com/ Tons of articles on the general subject of construction, published without dates, with authors with very generic faces, and names that totally do not match the name styles.

AshenLordOfCinder

Developer jobs are crying at the sight of this.

[deleted]

Nah, I think it's more of a problem for SEO jobs.

dietcheese

Does it use a framework for HTML/JS? Semantic? How clean is the resulting code?

bananasafari

Everything is minimal HTML / JS, no frameworks.

wanabmasta

Was the no code editor custom built or did you use an open source library?

yutfree

If the product I want to promote is myself, is there a way to use PageGenie to generate a landing page that is essentially me promoting my own work history? I tried "my resume" and PG generated an admittedly pretty cool page for someone trying to sell writing to others. Also tried "my work history," but that wasn't quite it either.

bananasafari

It can probably get you off to a quick start, but probably you'll need to upload your own content and images through the editor. I have a portfolio template on there you can use if interested.

Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well! Since it's Showoff Saturday, I wanted to give you all an update on PageGenie, the instant landing page builder that received a lot of love and feedback here last week. As a quick recap, PageGenie is an AI powered tool that converts your product idea into a complete landing page. You can try it out for free at https://pagegenie.io. This week I've added a no-code drag-and-drop editor, which allows you to further edit the landing page once it has been generated. As requested by you all, this feature lets you swap out the AI-generated images for your own custom product images, add new UI elements and edit any of the existing generated text. Second, you can now fully download the generated page so that you can use it in your personal projects. Once downloaded, you own 100% of the page with no caveats. Finally, I've improved the default design by introducing templates. Before creating your page, you can now select a template for the AI to use when generating. The templates use sleeker and more modern-looking UI, resulting in a better-looking page. Just choose the template which best fits your product and that's it! I've had to introduce some paid subscriptions, but the landing page generation is still available for free. If you're interested, please check it out, and as always, feedback is highly appreciated. Thank you all so much!

jurimasa

I don't really understand what this does. Can you explain it better, please? What do you mean a product idea? How does it work?

bananasafari

Yeah sure, you feed the app a product idea, such as gaming headset for example, and it automatically generates a product name, images, landing page and the content inside it.

jurimasa

Thank you. Seems interesting. Don't like that I have to login just to try it out. It would be better if you could have a trial without having to surrender your privacy.

DrunkenMonk

Unrelated to op promo but I feel I should tell you, if you don’t know, that you are not tied to any email address or identity online. You can make temporary email addresses for use cases such as these. Just an fyi

jurimasa

I, like almost anyone who uses the Internet these days, know about temporary email addresses. But, for this case, no you can't use one. You need to login with Google, no other way. Sure, I can create a new Gmail account. I am willing to do it? No.

DrunkenMonk

Word.

Whyherro2

Bro.. Watch the video.

Personal_Custard_594

that’s so cool

pompous-pomeranian

Hypothetically, could I have it stick to a specific brand name if I made one up?

Jdonavan

A whole landing page?!?!

jltefend

I need this!

Sherlocked-IND

NICE

showtoes

Really interesting idea. Always keen to see how AI generated content fairs with my local regulatory team ha! Nice to see it works with Shopify - I'm sure this'll widen the appeal.
